the service staff there were extremely helpful and they truly go out of the way to assist you. they make the effort to remember you. it feels like they love their job and its a very nice feeling to feel so welcomed. I would surely stay at fairways again if i were to go back.
breakfast room could not handle the horde of people coming in all at once in the morning but i was told that there will be more breakfast rooms in time to come.
Definitely the private beach and free shutter every hour to d mall make ur journey is more convenient and fulfill. Best location and great staff service.
Make sure everything is same when u check out. I got an issue with lost towel which the first day always 6pcs of towel when I check out they told me there got 7pcs. But why didn't u let me know whenever u do the housekeeping. This make me and my company really feel abit upset.
The staff and my room were fantastic, certainly worthy of a 5 star resort, but...
Some of the buildings in the resort are derelict - literally! One of the pools was closed for maintenance, but as far as I could see it just wasn't maintained and the water was green, if any of the 3 pools needed maintenance then it was the 'infinity' pool (and it needed it badly) but alas it was open. The golf course looked amazing but by the time you had paid for a caddie and buggy (both are mandatory) then a round of golf was coming out at about £80+, which when you consider the average Philippine salary is £2 per day, I find extortionate. I was also charged extra to use the dilapidated gym and WHO charges extra for WiFi these days?! Oh, and the room service menu is very poor & over priced.
The Staff the place the room, the private beach!
staffs are friendly and nice. 24 hours shuttle ride throughout the resort. also shuttle rides to D Mall at your door step, dont have to go to front desk just to hitch a ride. big variety of breakfast to choose from.
the queue back to hotel can be abit crazy when it comes to evening time.
Hotel was fantastic beutiful and good service
Good tv, comfortable bed and nice buffet breakfast. We stayed in an executive suite and the room was a good size.
Wifi was an expensive extra - we were surprised it wasn't available for free in a hotel of this size. The large infinity pool, which was the reason we booked the hotel, was closed. From the state of this pool when we saw it, it appeared to have been closed for a long time. There were only two options for dinner in the hotel - Chinese or Spanish - both overpriced. Word of warning - ensure you have the card you used to pay for the room, with you for check in. We paid in full for the room 8 months in advance of our visit and in the interim period our card was stolen and changed. We informed the hotel of this via booking.com. On arrival the hotel forced us to pay in full again to comply with their hotel policy (which had not been stated when we booked). The staff were uncooperative and as a newly married couple on our honeymoon we are still very upset about the matter.
- good service
-waiting 40 minutes to get a room at check in - the food was not good - slow internet connection and is not included in room fee
Fantastic staff.Pretty laid back atmosphere.
Paid for WiFi. A little run down in places.
very friendly staff, room was very clean, pool with swim up bar.
breakfast was eventful. overcrowded, poorly laid out. after waiting 15minutes to get a table we then had to try and find plates, cutlery which were still being washed, very poor, out of 4 people in our party one refused to attend the morning wrestling match after 3 days. food not great, this was not a 4* breakfast. Only one transport every hour to dmall, we also gave up and usually took a taxi. had to pay for wifi, gym. would not stay here again,
Improvements seem to be coming
Power failures blew up phone chargers
The private beach and various pools gave guests plenty if relaxation venues ! Service was amazing and rooms were spacious.
It was slightly fair from d'mall.
Nice view on golf course Nice beach on the end of the hotel Good Wifi Large room
Bad breakfast Noise from the road in one room and view on the hill with a sewage pipe in the other one Some buildings are very far from the gate/main building, need to wait for transport every time Big golf course but no walking road around it, so you can't enjoy walking around it, only along the car road Necessity to take trycicle every time to get to White beach, not a please road along slums
Value for money, away from all the noise and hustle of boracay town.
Not much that we did not like during our stay
The spaccious room was very good
Very far from main beach, private beach is not very comfortable,
Friendly and helpful staff. Huge green territory. Good shuttle bus system within the hotel territory and between the hotel and the town. Nice private beach when the wind is not too strong.
Lack of tables during the breakfast. Shortage of sun beds on the private beach. Ants in the room (ground floor). Poor paid internet.
Transport transfer be on time ! Staff friendly ..
Such a good hotel ! Wifi need to be charge .. That means is bad than a cheap hotel .. On boracay any cheaps hotel is provided wifi FREE
(+) nice staff (+) not crowded
(-) The hotel area takes about 1/4 of the island thus be ready to take a shuttle/walk between the private beach, the room and lobby. Shuttles to DMall and Station 1 (where all restaurants and white beach are located) go only once (!) an hour which isn't enough considering how many people stay here. Consider this option if you want to hang out just at the hotel area. Otherwise it's just a waste of time to commute to the center. (-) 3,000 pesos deposit
Good and serene athmosphere at the beachfront. Staff were accommodating and very helpful.
Wifi should be free like most of the hotels of this caliber worldwide.
Everything is perfect and thanks the the wonderful staff specialy philip
The room was nice, 4 stars. Swimming pool down our block. Nice personnel helping out. Shuttle to go to Dmall and white beach (5 minutes away but impossible to walk due to traffic and absence of sidewalks)
Too isolated from the white beach. No life on the premises. Only 1 restaurant open. Having to pay for the wifi per day and per device! Having to pay for the gym room.
golf court and private beach. nice and cheap massage service in the room.
WIFI is not free and was not working They did not refund my money eventhugh the knew it was not working in my room area. Breakfast is a weak point in this hotel. enough variety but qaulity is very poor. The room had some lights out, doors that didn´t close, old furniture.... every other service that you expect to be included in the price of the room, are extra. internet, Gym... They didnt replace the used gels and champus when they make the room and you have to ask for it. On checking in they gave us a room that was occupied by others. to solve their mistake they change us the room for another one in the farthest point of the hotel, with no pool in the buiding and with no wifi signal. wifi was not repaired in the hole week. When I complained they offered me another room, even worse, where the wifi signal was ok but it was really small and with views to a wall in the back of the building. I have never suffered 2 downgrades in the same hotel stay. Very bad incidents management. It seems a mass tourism hotel where they don´t care the individual guest.
Clean. Friendly staff. Security (kind of overstaffed)
Middle of nowhere. You need shuttle or tuk tuk for everything. Their private beach is on the windy side, useless. Huge houses (they call villas)it feels like you are in a giant hospital. Check in experience difficult: Official tuk tuk not allowed to pass property entrance. You wait for local shuttle to continue your ride to front (?) desk on giant property. Wifi at extra cost.
