The rooms were nicely designed There was a tub. The hotel provided private drivers/transportation, massage and good food service.
It was unsafe. There was no proper locks to the doors. When you locked your door, a concierge had to open it for you upon coming back. The doors are literally opened by the blunt end of a spoon. The water to the baths and showers was lukewarm. It wasn't in a very good area and it was far away from the city center. Traffic going in was terrible. It's sort of in the middle of no where and you can't get around without the hotel's private drivers. The people at the front desk kept very poor records. I was nearly charged more than my stay because they had no proper record of me paying. I had to show the desk my receipt. Thank god I kept it.
The themed rooms were ok with a big spa bath
The room was located in the car park. It has the feel of a Love Hotel. There is nothing around it very hard to get a cab. Staff were unhelpful and/or incompetent.
No view other than concrete wall No WiFi in rooms. No dining facility to sit at. Only notion to eat in your room.
The building is brand new but it's just cement with paint on it. I wasn't allowed a room key for an unknown reason so I needed to leave my valuables in my room without feeling secure and I felt uncomfortable sleeping at night. No wifi in rooms, only the lobby. The staff are inattentive and their credit card machine doesn't work so make sure to bring cash with you to pay for the room.
Close to the airport. Nice room & bathroom.
The staff where quite blunt. The smelt strongly of cigarettes.
accessible to Airport terminal and to shopping malls
Access to transportation
Room service was terrible as was the food, the hotel was in the middle of a building site with no shops or bars within walking distance
Icon Hotel was sort of clean and has a spacious bathroom for a suite 2.
First off, the staff seems shady to me. The hotel was out of no where and it was hard to get around without a taxi. The price wasn't bad but overcharged me about roughly $22 extra from what was priced online. The bed was hard to sleep on for my companion. The AC hardly worked at all. Static digital cable in most channels. And to top it off the room service was not great. It took about a half an hour for our food to come. They brought us the wrong order. They brought us back Seafood Salad instead of Garden Cesar Salad. So we call the front desk and the room service personal seem to not care for the mistake and had an attitude by the way she sounded. When they finally got back with the right order, I had to pay 15 pesos for something that advertised free breakfast for two nights. I personally wouldn't go back.
the price but of. ourse there is nho luxury
the room was very small - not so clean - the water dont flow out directly it floods the floor but not in the room - there is no shower curtain - when you take shower the toilet gets wet too
Excellent except the location it's hard to go there if you on taxi because if you tell to the driver they didnt know where they at. But the rest was PERFECT the room was AMAZING that was the first time we saw a hotel that in super hero type...
the amiable friendly staff....
Close to airport, so no worries about traffiic going there.
Too far from everything else. Had to catch a taxi to get anywhere. Smoking allowed in rooms, so the room smelled of cigarette smoke all the time.
Room so small and no cabinets. They should keep the room always ready and tidy and everything on it should be ready before the arrival of the clients.
Accessible and courteous employees
Foods for breakfast need more improvement
Near the T3, nice staff
Room was good
I Dont like the place, no restaurant and hard to get taxi you have to wait or used the service car.
all good ..most staff friendly
wifi no work ..tv fuzzy ..again toilet seat broken
Nice bldg. the bell boy is pleasant.
The front desk girl never smiled the whole time i was talking to her. Not a good costumer relations. The room was hot when i entered my room yet whenever i leave my room, i have to take my key which then turns off the ac power. Therefore, it is not helping the room to cool down. The shower stall does not drain. I had to step on a wet paddle to use the toilet even after hours of showering. The hall way was like oven hot and not clean.
No Internet in rooms
With locked and gated access to all rooms and double windows that do not open the hotel is essentially a minimum-security prison. My complaints: poor staff, bad attitudes, long waiting times for room service, bad food, very limited menu, no bar or cafe, no coffee, unreliable internet, foam, no-spring mattress on a hard platforms, blankets cost extra, no concierge services, long wait times for taxis, probably the worst interior decor and atmosphere of any hotel in southeast asia. The attempt to create a hollywood-celebrity themed, ("Icon") hotel is horribly off and comes across more like the hotel in "The Shinning". Bottom line, this is a true nightmare experience of the kind you just can't find in the western world anymore...which may be reason enough to check it out.
Near airport and SM take taxi <10 mins Have service car, can go to airport in early morning 300p, can go to SM 150p
No shops/restaurant near the hotel. can only stay at hotel at night
The breakfast was good, services of the crew was good, location is very good because its near the MOA and Solaire resort and casino.
the room is space constraints its too small
+ gentle staff + near to airport
- view - hotel is located near a motorway - without car it is hard to go to other places
I liked only the location of the hotel as it is closed to the airport.
I did not like at all the staff atitude as they wanted to coverme more then was agreed when I booked. Their attitude is really very poor.
Hotel staff were very friendly
Requests sometimes forgotten so it is a matter of reminding staff
