Excellent customer service! They are very friendly and accommodating. Always ready to assist you. Nice location and nice cottage designs. We enjoyed staying at the beachfront. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea. Free breakfast, unlimited coffee and tea! We'll definitely go back to El Nido!
Poor wifi signal.
Staff friendly but not very efficient and professional. Food and water not to be touched. Something seriously wrong in the kitchen. Finally, foul smell of septic tank in the bathroom...!!! Dept of health should close the place before somebody gets seriously ill as in hospitalized. We got badly sick and others guests did!!!
The cottages aren't cottages; they are rooms with paper thin (straw-thin) walls that let in every noise. The restaurant has terrible service and less than great food, which is a waste since just a 500 m walk down the beach or a quick ride into the city offers better food and service. The beach front is dirty and littered with glass. There are plenty of nicer properties that are a little off the beaten path. My boyfriend and I spent most of the trip sick. We took one of the tours encouraged by the staff. It was a waste of money as every stop is overcrowded with other boats. And the meal on that tour gave me food poisoning. The pharmacy next door obviously makes a lot of money as they were not surprised when we went looking for medicines and advices against even using the hotel's water to brush our teeth. The water is yellow and smells. I have nothing positive to say about this establishment. I have stayed in far less developed parts of the world and have had far superior experiences.
Interior Food Stuff Cleanliness
Wifi doesn't work Problems with island tours
Location that's all.
Food, eat elsewhere.
the rustik decoration, great staff, food nice,a breakfast stil a breakfast
wifi bad one place was , and difficulty to paid with credit card, chicken rooster near and construction near
Staff was very friendly and always helpful. We loved the Chicken Adobo in their restaurant .
Our booked room was not available at our arrival. We were offered instead a really bad one. Discount was given only after negotiation. Wifi was most of the time not working.
The ambience of the place was great with perfect sunsets. Ling Ling made the experience of the staff not having a clue much more bearable.
Most of the staff don't have a clue!
The view of the ocean and beach from our balcony. The staff were great. The garden was beautiful. Enjoyed the spa.
Staff were very helpful and nice.Massage was cheap.
Lighting in bathroom was too dim. Need to designate smoking and nonsmking section at your restaurant.
Location, breakfast, quiet place
2 Showers, 1 for hot 1 for cold. Didn't get the room i booked.
Great location and balcony, interesting menu and nice room.
A little expensive compare to other places and the lobby is a bit dark, which doesn't represent the place well.
excellent staff, facilities and position
the internet connection was extremely slow when it was available
Location on the beach is excellent. 7 mins Tri Cycle ride from main restaurant area of El-Nido. Very basic, but value for money. If you are looking for a no frills area to live in, this is the place for you in that area.
F&B service needs improvement. Too slow and unable to handle guests requests
Great location on the beach. A view to live for...
Shower..... there is actually 2 shower heads. Hot and cold and you have to try to cross the streams and get a medium temp. Impossible to achieve. Staff is very young and its hard to say who in actually in charge. Rooms are small. Many plants in the total hotel experience. Was damp and my allergies were killing me there. Mold??
- view, location and decoration. But thats it ( and not worth the money they ask)
- very bad/unexperienced personell, too young, bad English. Because of that the customer service is very very bad (sorry to say but it's really true) - the food was very bad, choice was minimum and the prices are way too high compared with the quality of the food. - there is no buffet as breakfast! You can order ONE meal for free. If you are more hungree you have to pay extra. - there are a lot of musquito's, so beware!! - for island hopping go to Talindak cottage on the same beach, they offer better prices!!
The room was just near the sea shore so it was a good view.
Not all the meals on the menu was available. Poor electric service. They have to use generator during black out but couldn't use air conditioning or heater for the shower.
We went there a group of 3 friends and absolutely loved it. The staff is very accommodative, but the bets part is the location - its absolutely stunning
The low cost of the place.
I had to end my vacation.
The place is just a few steps away from the seashore. It was really nice to wake up with the sun and sea welcoming you when you open the door leading to the veranda. Life here is so laid-back, you'll tend to forget the city life. Nothing can be more soothing to the spirit than watching the sunset right here at Islandfront, while resting in a hammock...
The place is a bit old, so others who are not use to being in a rustic place will find the place a little uncomfortable.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The were always helpful and tried to accommodate our needs to the best of their abilities. The location of the hotel was very good. Only 1.5 km from town which was a 5 minute bike/tricycle ride. Las cabañas beach was also 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel had its own spa/massage place so that was very convenient.
Our biggest complain was the breakfast. Yes they offer a free breakfast but it was a bit poor to say the least. There is complementary tea/coffee 24 hours but the coffee was not coffee. It was indescribably bad so best bet is to buy one of those 3 in 1 instant coffees from shop next door. The rooms were basic but good. Nothing fancy. We could have done with a bigger bed and electricity 24 hours a day but we understand that we are in the middle of nowhere and things are different.
The atmosphere was excellent.
the view. large balcony with seaview. has hammock, places to lay down on the side. table with chairs and stunning view. The sunset view from my balcony. Only short tricycle ride to el nido centre/beach.
nothing. will stay again.
The staff was very helpful and attentive. They helped us with our tour and transport to El Nido. The complimentary airport pick up was also greatly appreciated. Location was quite convenient.
The location is nice. Quiet and peaceful place to stay. The garrden is really good with a variety of plants. However. It would be much better if they remove the artificial flowers and plants in the garden,
The bad smell of the big dogs in the lobby.
