Staff is very supportive, they pick you up at airport and help with information
Just avoid the room ground floor, behind reception, it is not good for privacy and noisy in the morning as there is a window giving directly to the kitchen
They close the gate which is uncomfortable whenever you get back from a quick stroll.
Location and price
Limited cable/channel TV networks, no provisions of toilet paper and soap
Location is very central and close to airport. Staff helped to arrange my tours and were very accommodating and trustworthy. Room is clean, aircon, breakfast is good (Filipino). Very nice place overall.
Water pressure was very weak in shower. The only other thing is that they serve breakfast at 6:30 am so you get woken up early even if no plans for early start.
Highly appreciate staff, I'll booked on my next trip.
The staff are really kind and hospitable special mention to Ms. Mercy. they always make you feel at ease. location very near to the airport and the city center.Mam Nette the owner always there to assist us specially with our daily itirinary, Jlais is home away from home, they're like family.
I just didnt like when our things were transferred to other room while we are on tour though nothing was lost but they must ask first our permision because its our personsl belongings.. But the service was good and the staff are very friendly..
Friendly staff, free airport transfer, help with tours, cable tv english channels
fairly thin walls so when other guests were in the main balcony area for eating it was really noisy- my room's window was directly facing this area.
1. I was staying in Jlais Balai Turista Pensionne in 2 days. On the first day I arrived to Puerto Princesa City Airport, the pension arranged a staff to pick me at the airport. On the last day, the manager Dan sent me to the airport. They provide free airport transfer (pick up & send to the airport). 2. I like the manager and staff here. They are very helpful. The manager Nenette are willing to respone all of my inquiries. She help arranging my schedule of staying. The staff are very good. They help me bring my backpack to go upstairs. 3. Here has hot & cold water for free. I like it very much. 4. The wifi has strong signal. Sometimes it is on enhancement, so it cannot be connected. 5. The location is good. It is near to the airport (5 mins by car). It is near to Jolibee, Chowking, other fast food shops (5 mins walking). There are also many local banks with good money exchange rate along Rizal Ave.
1. The water pressure is low. 2. Sometimes the wifi is on enhancement, hence, it cannot be connected.
Really nice People there, friendly, helpful. I´ll be back!
Accessible to public transportation, market, malls, airport and restaurants. Friendly staff. Affordable accommodation rates.
Really lovely hotel and people. They go to pick up from the airport, help u with tours, nice breakfast and location. Great value for money. It's run by a lovely family that help you out with everything.
Low pressure water in the shower
loved they staff they are kind and friendly.
the cable tv is awful. the internet as well.
I like that there was a wifi and airport transfer from and to. They were friendly and I have a lot of channels to choose on tv.
They could've improve the tidiness of the room, like the towels, they don't change until you check out, same with the beddings, they don't even clean your bathroom or even the floor. You'll see some molds in the bathrooms and the door is too noisy, specially when someone just slam it in the middle of the night. When you open it it's like you are in horror film from the sound of the door. For break fast they were so stupidly biased. If you are filipino they'll knock your door early in the morning like sometimes 6 o'clock and they have served it cold, and sometimes uncovered in the veranda, but for foreign anytime they woke up is okey with them. Sometimes instead of you want to say good morning it's like you have to think twice because they don't respond, you feel like you greet the wind that passes you. But anyway, it's the cheapest in town. So it's ok for those who travel on a tight budget. You just have to be understanding and have a lot of patience with you.
