Worn out bed
Staff was excellent. Nice buffet and I loved the location. Can't wait to go again.
I stayed there 2 weeks and after the first week the wifi was not usable.
The comfort room
The scented room
Courteousness and attention from the staff. Comfort of the room. Breakfast was good.
A little bit pricey.
1. We booked the Deluxe Twin Room and it's big big enough to accommodate 4 adults and 1 toddler. No aircon in the room - but hey, we didn't even turn the fan on at night because it was so cold! 2. The location is great because it's surrounded with nearby restaurants, yet, it's not the "crowded Baguio". 3. The room interiors are modern but it's still inside CJH so it still feels outdoors-y. 4. They allowed my request for a late checkout. No fuss with check-in and check-out. 5. TV inside the bathroom and the heated toilet seat - good job! 6. The staff are very friendly, easy to negotiate with and reasonable in granting our party's requests. 7. The Dinelli Gourmet breakfast buffet is the best part! Eggs benedict from the eggs station: ahh-mazing! :)
1. They don't have an efficient landline. I wanted to call them to let them know that we will be arriving late. It took me almost two hours, calling different numbers with no one answering, before someone finally picked up the phone. Hassle. Needs to improve! 2. For the price of the rooms, they could have added a bathtub. There is a heated pool but I did not get to try it so I wouldn't know how warm it is.
Room was very spacious, beds were very comfortable and bathroom was excellent! The room and hotel overall were very clean and modern. Breakfast buffet is diverse with a mix of both filipino and western foods.
Gym is very small and feels crowded even with 2 people, Staff always seemed unsure when we would ask them a question and on first check in staff at front desk were too preoccupied with their personal lives than checking us in.
The staffs were overall very friendly and courteous. Despite the many guests, as we went there for New Year celebrations, they made sure that you were attended to promptly. Food offerings for the buffet were good and diverse, which made each guest have array of options/ choices.
The in-house Spa facilities should be improved and masseurs trained to give better service to customers. First, the hot stone and bamboo massage we requested eventually was not done because the machine was not working. Before that, the reason given was there was only one who can do the hot stone bamboo massage so the Spa reception requested that one of us should change to Combination Shiatsu instead. Then an hour before our massage schedule, the Spa called again to advise that the machine was not working. The 1-hour body massage we paid for were cut short by 15 minutes. Both masseurs just suddenly left us without explaining anything. When we finally realized that they are not coming back to finish the massage, my husband and I got dressed and went to the reception area. When we told them that they only massaged us for 45 minutes instead of 1-hr the lame excuse was the clock inside the couples room was late. When the massage started, the clock showed 8pm and they stopped massaging at 8:45pm. Regardless whether the clock was late or not, it was running. Then they informed us we cannot charge our massage to our rooms but instead should pay in cash. When the Spa attendant called us earlier about the hot bamboo stone massage not available there was no mention of paying in cash. It was a good thing I brought my purse with some money, otherwise we would be embarrased to have one of us run up to our room to get some. Since my brother in-law and son-in-law would be massaged after us, we warned them about the time limit and make sure they were massaged as paid and about paying in cash. FYI, we had our massage schedule last Jan 1st.
I like the interiors of the hotel and the room itself has its own charm, it maybe small but the room is charming
Toiletires need a bit of improvement and it would be much better if your room is equipped with flat iron and ironing table and would appreciate if you could provide complimentary fruits in the room for your guest
-Location is at the very Twilight-y Camp John Hay, pine trees..lush greens, beautiful! picture perfect. Request for a room with a forest view. -Breakfast is yummy! wide selection of food. Dont forget to request for their famous eggs benedict at the egg station. -Very clean room, totally worth it's price. - -
Can't think of any negative thing about this hotel. From the facilities, food, staff..all worth 2 thumbs up!
quick and efficient service. friendly staff.
slow wifi. some of the tv channels weren't working.
location! really fast wifi breakfast buffet
Room and pool
Friendly and very helpful staff, comfortable bed, excellent location,
The pool closed to early!! and why is it only 4 foot deep? not good if you are 6 foot 2
Everything about the hotel is superb.
The room is very spacious and have big size beds that can accomodate 4 people. The ambience and facilities of the hotel is very nice and the breakfast is also delicious.
Facilities, the tranquil location overlooking the forest. The hospitable staff, selection of buffet breakfast. Early check-in and late check out flexibility. Clean room.
The sewage smell in the bathroom. No Security safe Box in my room.
The forest view bedroom is simply wonderful!
The swimming pool was not heated as advertised. There was confusion with my booking. I booked online and yet when I checked a day before with the hotel, I was not registered. Although it was eventually solved, it took the hotel staff quite sometime. And upon check in, the ladies at the reception were not focused in attending to us. Buffet was a bit below than what I was expected.
Friendly staff, great selection of breakfast. Peaceful location overlooking the forest. Clean. Reception Staff were very accomodating with early check-in and request for late check-out.
Sewage smell in the bathroom - I forgot to bring my own tin foil to cover it inspite of previous hotel guests comments which I already read before I booked the hotel. My room did not have safety deposit box but my friends' room do have.
Staff are very accomodating. Comfortable stay. Food was really really great!
nothing. everthing is great!
Lobby is too small, with bulky furnitures
The only thing which I love is the location.
Found small cockroaches and small insects at the bathroom, the room has a bad smell like old wood. Breakfast bakery items are not fresh like the pandesal taste 1 day old prebaked. Salted eggs are spoiled.
access to taxis. I could not get a good coffee
Room was very spacious and the bed was cozy. Staff was really nice and very accomodating.
Tv was small and also the bathroom. The shower heater seemed like it has a timer. You'll only get warm water for like 2 minutes or so.
Nice location in a wooded area with restaurants and other businesses close by.
Spa is not operational. Spa staff that was there was not really ready to serve. During the day they were doing some construction and made loud noises near my room. I was trying to rest and that was impossible. Even calls to the front desk did not stop the pounding. Staff allowed smokers into the restaurant while I was trying to eat. I hate that smell.
