Only 2 options for breakfast
I just returned from a week at this excellent resort and had the most fabulous time. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa ,was spacious, with big wide Veranda,There were 2 very nice pools ,with anytime free shuttle bus..Will certainly come back again!
Excellent location especially for those rooms with sea view, spacious rooms and well equipped kitchenette.
The rooms are not equipped with telephones facility for guests comfort, wifi is very poor in the rooms and the shuttle service is totally disordered especially with no taxi service near the hotel!!..basically the hotel needs a pro management!!
Everything was good the faculties the staff the rooms just a great location
Well build hotel good location clean and friendly staff.
Could do more staff on the reception and very slow processing paper works, apart from poor internet service no wonder its free! The receptionist tried to charge me for 3 villas upon checking!hmm not good at all.
great view, free shuttle, big room, fantastic pool!
Nice facilities with two nice pools, Great views to the sea, Free shuttle to D Mall worked quite well (only 1 time had to wait over 30 minutes) Nice small beach
Not a fan of places which require you to pay the whole stay in advance WiFi was terrible. Problems with coverage, but even when you got connected it was so so slow Far from the city and white beach. You are quite stuck in the resort and the restaurant is not very good.
scale, comfort, views
lack of hotel facilties at pool no. 2 and beach
friendly staff very clean well furnished (new) good location privet beach good kitchen set
The atmosphere. Good for relaxing.
Rooms are too big but a lot of important amenities are missing. No decent toiletries. No phone in the room so I need to walk to reception everytime. Hotel is too far from the center. Doors are ridiculously big and you don't feel the privacy.
The resort has unique and nice design. It will be a nice resort once everything is well constructed and set up.
All comments below are compared to the price paid. Overall this resort is slightly over priced. 1. This resort is still under renovation. The noise has been annoying. 2. The staff looks new and not yet fully trained with the basic hospitality services. Especially punctuality, attitude and English. 3. First thing I don't like is the floor material in diamond suite room. It doesn't feel comfortable. 4. The driver doesn't greet/response even though we did to him. 5. Food served in restaurant is poor. Need improvement. 6. Amenity is not well prepared. Especially shower gel and shampoo.
Beautiful location Lovely clean rooms Shuttle service to D'Mall Lovels pools
- A hidden cost appeared on my credit card statement from 'directwithhotels phils ltd' of 560 piso (£7.75)- no warning of this or receipt. Have emailed the otel doirect to see what this is about! - No night time entertainment.
The room was great. Well laid out, plenty of space, comfortable furniture and comfortable and HUGE bed. The WiFi was easy to set up and worked (see below) Staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to cope with our not speaking Tagalog fairly well. Breakfast was great - eggs and bacon! Easy done and at a good price. The room was clean on arrival and cleaned each day of our stay. we would have liked to have been given the option of a 'green choice' of how often we wanted bed linen and towels to be washed; something that a lot of hotels and resorts are now doing. The pool and beach were each delightful in their own way. Transport to and from D'Mall was greatly appreciated. The drivers were always courteous and, when their English allowed, helpful and friendly. Desk staff accommodated our cell phone problems by allowing us to 'book in' a time to be picked up rather than our having to call when we were ready.
The room's kitchen was not very well equipped if we had chosen to cook anything ourselves. The shower drain was not the lowest point in the bathroom so water tended to pool and spread across the entire floor. The tiles became very slippery when wet. Likewise, the patio times became very slippery when wet with rain. A handle on the outside of sliding screen door would be a reasonable expectation. The WiFi was limited in range. We had two devices, one worked in the ground floor unit while the other had difficulty picking up any signal at all. I ended up going to the bar area to get Internet access on the second device. Internet speeds were slow even when connected to a strong signal. A map of the hotel site would have been helpful in finding the beach. One of the front of house staff offered to walk us to the beach which was very gracious. Likewise a map of Boracay would have been helpful for us just to get our bearings. The complementary map we received from the boat harbour was inadequate. We may have done more exploring of the island if we had either a map or better Internet access. These comments are not intended as criticisms but suggestions on how your hotel could be improved.
Costly but very best (SULIT)
Swimming Pool、 sea view house Amazing Tour， Next time will come back this hotel
Place has huge potential, nice Pool & Restaurant
Hotel Staff, really unhelpful with everything. Don't provide Iron & ironing board and didn't help at all when trying to book activities. They could learn service skills from their restaurant staff
Amazing view, great swimming pools, good breakfast
Room was big but very basic, not very cosy. When we paid by credit card they added 4% extra.
Nice Staff at the Bar! Great Value for the Money! Amazing Infinity Pool and cool Hotel surroundings Would def book again
First Room we had was a bit small, old and not clean enough.
Best sea view in Boracay, nice staff provide good kindly service . Housekeeping very good! manys supervise items .
1. very low signal of wifi and low speed to internet . 2. there are many stone in the hotel beach , and the beach lack of maintaining, not recommend to swim here.
The room is big and bright, the stuffs are friendly, the swimming pool is mavelous!
Everything about the hotel.
Its a bit far from the main beach but no worries they have 24 hrs shuttle.. That would be great..
Amazing location away from the chaos of white beach with a free shuttle bus to the jetty port and White Beach. Private beach, two pools to choose from (no service around the pools, you have to go to the restaurant to buy drinks etc) and gorgeous gardens which are very well maintained. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. Cheap compared to resorts in other parts of the world, but you are paying for the scenic location and serenity. The accommodations themselves are large but basic (don't even get free tea and coffee!). Overall, compared to how most people live in the Philippines this place is fantastic. However, given they are charging exorbitant western prices the service could be better and apartments could be better equipped.
Lots of construction happening on the site. We had to move from our first room because there was construction above us (yet the owner decided to rent out the room without telling us or offering us a discount for the extremely loud noise!? He said he 'upgraded' us to a two bedroom apartment but a: we didn't need two bedrooms, b: the cleaners kept locking the doors on the second room and shower so we couldn't use them anyway and c: when we had a friend come to stay and use the 'free upgrade' they still charged us 1000pesos per night for her anyway!! REALLY they were just fully booked and HAD to put us in a two bedroom even though we didn't request it.) We also had to ask twice to be moved. Moving rooms took about 1.5hours because they tried putting us in another room which was isolated and in a construction zone (even louder than the first apartment!) and the third and final one they offered us smelled like cigarettes and was filthy (fine once they had cleaned it and aired it out a bit). Then in our second room there were young people dancing on tables, singing and playing loud music in their apartment and on the balcony below us at 2.30am. I rang the front desk (from my mobile phone because there aren't phones in the apartments) and the staff said they would do something but they never did. I had to go downstairs myself and the young people just laughed and kept partying. The apartments are huge but very basic - if you want to cook your own food there are limited utensils, cooking equipment etc. The restaurant has ok food which is expensive compared to Filipino prices but ok for westerners (a mango smoothy on the street is about 50pesos. A mango smoothy at the restaurant is 120pesos. A decent meal in town will cost about 100-200pesos. A decent meal at Lingganay will cost about 400pesos). There is a lack of activities or services offered on site.
It is a good hotel. We lived in the suite for four people near the pool with the stunned ocean view. The suite was really large and comfortable, even better than on the pictures (in fact, on the pictures everything looks a bit out-of-date, but it is not so bad in the real life). The pool was great, clean and larger with good view at Bulabog beach. The staff was good, we didn't have any problems. They even ordered for us activities on myborocayguide. The local beach is not perfect (the visibility in water is not good, constant wind and large waves), but good enough. It is private and looks quite natural. You will not find a lot of people there. Also, there is a great bench on the cliff near the sea. I really advise to spend some time there. Good transfer service from the hotel to the D-mall (near the White Beach). It takes about 10 minutes by car. You can ask for it anytime. Even if the car is not in the hotel you can use local transport which is not very expensive.
No phone in the room. For any request you have to go to the reception, which can be not very convenient as the hotel is situated on a hill. The breakfast was not various and it was not a buffet (you have to choose from the menu). WiFi was poor (you will not be able to see streamed video) and not in every room. There is nothing for tourist near the hotel (only houses of local people, where you probably will not want to spent a lot of time), all live is near the White Beach.
Free shuttle was very convenient
Shower area has the same tiles as bedroom, slippery and odd design.
the pool and sea view are good
1.we had booked a sea view room, but they offered us a room with so small bed in the first flour.i talked to the staff in the front desk which was a fat woman that we need to change another room, she just refused my by no consultation at all. 2.the facilities in the room are really bad, especially the bed,so small for me and my 5 years old son!one night my son fell down from the bed and heart his face!but they still didnot change room for us! 3.nothing provided in the bathroom except a hair shampoo and they didn't mention it at all! 4.free bottles of water just provided in the first day when we checked in,they won't provide anymore no matter how long you'll stay in the hotel. 5.no hot water in the last day when we stayed! 6.i told a staff in the front desk that we want to check out at 2pm,she said no problem, then i booked a massage in my room at 1pm,she said ok also.but when it was almost 12,the fat woman who refused me to change room came to me and say no to me again!she said it's impossible for me to check out the room at 2pm,i had to check out at 12!what the hell!anothet girl had already promise me it's ok to check out at 2pm,so we hadn't pack the luggages yet!and i asked what about do the massage in the room?she said impossible to me again!i don't know why she was so rude to me!always say no to me! i hope the boss or the manager of this resort can contact me after seeing these comments!it's really the worst resort i had ever stayed before！
