Microtel Baguio  

Friendly staff, very good location in the middle of the town, but no trafic in front somstill quite.

I like the place it's near to all places to go and transfortation.

The bathroom kindly likely need to be cleaned more ,other than that ,everything is ok.

i really enjoyed staying in the hotel everything was arranged and tidy.

Location, Staff, Facilities were excellent. Breakfast was also superb.

For the price of accomodations, wifi should be free

Baguio is a 5 hour land trip from Manila. If you do not want to take a car, going by bus is the best option, and if by bus, Victory Liner has the nicest bus that goes direct to Baguio (no stops). Microtel is beside the Victory Liner Baguio terminal. That is location and convenience for you. The rooms are very nice, the water supply is very good (no water in Baguio sometimes), the heater works well (Baguio has cold temperature), and is easy to get a cab to go around the city since it is beside a buse terminal. Breakfast spread is good. Staff is very helpful.

We specifically asked for a quiet room,it was anything but quiet,we had a noisey fan working off and on all the stay at the hotel,the hand basin did not hold warter as the silver centre peice was broken which i had to complain about along with the spray tap next to the toilet for washing your self with was leeking all of which i had complained about and was sopost to have been fixed but wasn't, allso the so called nice vews consisted of a vew over the back of the victoria coach stn from the resturant were you had breakfast and any other meal you may wish to eat there loll loll and the vew from the bedroom can only be described as looking over someones back garden full of corrigatted tin roofs and someone doing timber plaining with an electric plainer on the roof of there house right oposite our room,The so called bewtanicall gardens was a very big dissapointment as there was no flowers there it was just full of trees and shrubs with some market stalls right in the middle of the gardens very poor show in my book very very dissapointed,Certainly have no interest in going to baguio ever again, probably one of the worst if not the worst break i have ever had cincidering how much it cost for the hotel they are charging top rates nearly for a very standard if not poor hotel not imprest attall, And no compensation for the inconvenience coursed for us on our stay there, Would never recomend it to any one ever

Extra pillows were charged!! it would have been better if extra pillows did not have additional price because we requested for that ahead of time.

Drinking water was available in the halls and ice was available in the lobby. The hotel is connected by a walkway to the Victory Liner bus station, which is convenient for travel between cities.

Extremely high charges for internet access (P300 per hour or P1000 for 15 hours). Children over twelve cost P750 each per night just to stay on the sofa sleeper already in the room. To make it worse, if you don't log out directly, the internet minutes are used up even after shutting down your computer or iPad, and it is impossible to log out from the iPad. Tip: sign onto the wifi with two devices at once so your iPad connection will be kicked off. Tha manager quoted us P300 for breakfast for extra guests, but the staff tried to charge P500 (and the breakfast is nothing special at all). The bathroom faucet leaked and everything was of cheap quality, such as one-ply toilet paper., which tore through no matter how thick it was folded

It is physically connected to Victory Liner bus station. There are complimentary coffee and tea at the lobby. All staff were courteous and friendly.

Affordable, loved the room. Serves good coffee, and an excellent breakfast.

Only thing was that the closet still had wet paint inside. Stained my leather jacket, I just thought I'd mention it. No biggie though.

The place is clean; staff are very nice & accommodating; not crowded

-food for breakfast could still be improved by serving at least 3 different main meals. -you should have a space for complaints. though i want to share something which I don't consider a complaint. my daughter accidentally broke a vase but since it was her fault, we paid for the vase. Don't hotels have budget for these "accidents"? and ask the guests to pay for it anynmore...also, pls consider the design of the decors you put on display. The vase is thin and lean and very unstable, could just fall even with a slight vibration.

Its really convenient as it is located in the heart of the city! Special thanks to the HK team! uve done it so well! Ill surely be back next year!

even though the service is excellent i find it hard using the shower very hard to adjust specially the water heater.. its really annoying.. i hope that u guys will fix it soon.. We also dnt have any remote control on our tv.. i dnt know why.. These are small things that can bring down ur reputation.. Overall i had enjoyed my stay! thanks a lot!

1) Your ad states that in a single room it can accommodate a couple and 2 children below 12 years old. But when I inquired to the customer service in Baguio, I was informed that we will not fit in a single room and if we will insist on getting a single room, they will charge my 11 year old son P750/night hence I decided to just transfer to a double room. 2) breakfast meal rate for kids is P149, but they charged my son at adult rate.

Being in the middle of the city, everything we needed is easy to find. And because it is adjacent to the bus terminal, we didn't have to worry about trip schedules and reservations. It sort of added to a relaxed stay. The staff were very accomodating, too.

I just wish the internet facility would be made available for free.

Microtel baguio's location is so convenient for me especially since i usually take victory liner when going up to baguio. Staff are very accommodating, friendly and efficient. Rates of the rooms are also budget friendly.
