Location is very good, at Diniwid Beach, separated from the noisy and crowded areas of White Beach but still not that far so it's posible to walk there. Staff is very attentive and polite. Rooms quite comfortable and spacious, clean and with everything working well. Beach fron restaurant is a great place to spend hours relaxing, bathing and watching the sea. Breakfast is quite fulfilling and always served with a smile.

We liked almost everything except that we booked a suit and it was just really a big room. The last day we had to move to a normal room and it did not make any difference in terms of confort to us but Price was really different. So for couples or solo travelers i would suggest just not bothering booking a suite.

Wifi is slow..and also the sun cellular has no signal..

Very close to the beach, the staffs are very nice. Quite convenient going to d'mall by shuttle van. Will defenitely choose Microtel next time here. :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful.The hotel is situated on Diniwid beach, which is small and separated from the White beach. As for me, it was good for sometimes I prefer a bit of privacy and like to get tan topless. You can walk about 10-15 min to the White beach and around half an hour to the D-Mall area, where the main bars, clubs and restaurants are located. Also, there is a free hotel shuttle two times an hour to D-mall. The hotel is not new and stylish, so if you are looking for something fancy, then you might not like it. I was staying with three other girls for 12 nights and didn't hear any complaints :) I would gladly stay at Microtel again!

Quiet place far from the noise. Great beach near the hotel. Very romantic view from seaside.

No safe in the room. Very poor and tastless breckfast. Bad facilities in the room (toilet, shower). Far from White beach, so you have to take tricycle for 100 php to get there. The hotel's bus is only by booking in 30 min before departure.

Guests blocking unoccupied beach chairs for hours by just leaving towels on. Beach staff should immediately clear the chairs when guests are not showing up unexcused after 20mins, so other hotel guest can enjoy the same facilities. Beach staff shall monitor closely their area closely and shall be strict. As fo me, I had NO chance at all during my 5 days stay to catch a chair for 1 hr or so during day time. I complaint to the staff but no action. Here the management should take action. Also, many guests were smoking and littering at the beach without cleaning up their left-overs. Here again, the staff should educate and take action. Further, guests of neighbouring hotel were bringing their dogs to beach, mainly at the dawn time, when almost no staff were around. These guests allowed the dogs to pee and shit around !!! When having approached them and asked them to clear up, I was looked as I came from Mars. The only way to keep Boracay clean is to impose immediate cash penalty, it seems this is the only way to educate "uneducated" people. Or, make Boracay so expensive, then this island also clean from such clients. Thank you for your attention

The biggest disadvantage of Microtel are breakfasts which are awful and the same everyday, so better prepare that you have to go somewhere to eat something good

The location is great. Although it was à quiet and relaxing place, there was a free shuttle that would bring us everything 20 minutes to the D'mall that is the shopping and restaurants area of Boracay. Room was clean and spacious, sand beach with people providing free deckchairs and towels.

Food is not the best one coule have. But if you stick to simple things like club sandwiches for example, it is Ok.

that it was not in the middle of the white beach, it was excellent because it was somewhat secluded and that was perfect for us.

We enjoy our stay in Mircrotel, the free shuttle bus is very useful. Hotel's staffs are helpful and nice.Overall we're satisfied with our stay in Mircrotel.

The aircondition is nosiy and the swimming pool is not very clean. The breakfast should be more diversity.

I like the isolation from the main lot of hotels overall. Staff where friendly (even thou the security guards where not extremely friendly) and breakfast was good enough. The beds where quite comfortable. They have free shuttle service to Station 2.

I stayed in the suite but it felt overpriced for what it was (about USD 100 a night); the shower could receive an upgrade and the light shutdown system as well. The shuttle service could run more often (specially during holiday season) and pick up guests from Station 2 more often as well. Need a big sign to say "Microtel" from the road because there's none.

A good place for a quiet holiday, for not very demanding tourists. There are conditions for children's playground, children's corner in the lobby, so that children were not bored on a rainy day or hot hours. Swimming pool with children's area and big balls to play in the water, they loved to play, and children and adults. On the beach, near the hotel and the hotel has palm trees that provide shade, which for us was very important, because we were traveling with a small child who needs to be protected from the abundance of the sun. On the beach are always a few people. Evening territory looks very romantic and beautiful: candles, lanterns, lights, soft music. Good dining in the restaurant and the waiters are very kind.To the entertainment center, the street of restaurants and shops very often there is a free shuttle. It was very nice to come back after the busy center in our quiet hotel. We have not regretted it booked a transfer from the airport: a modest tip helped us bring all our bags and followed us to the boat, and then to the hotel, we did not have to look for. The hotel staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

pros: 1. two large beds!!!! 2. room is huge! 3. toilet is just the right size with hot shower working. 4. private beach and pool! 5. love the lobby! many seats with newspapers all over! 6. free flwing coffee and water 7. breakfast by the pool

cons: 1. no restaurant that sells affordable meals. need to go d mall for more budget friendly meals.

This was my second stay at the Microtel Boracay and WILL NOT be my last, i love it there. It represents great value for money and a great location, and the on site, Mamas Fish resturant is great, the staff are great and i now consider them friends.

It's a little far from dmall the free shuttle was excellent and available as required on a 40 minute schedule but the trip takes about 15 minutes due to condition of road. You can walk the beach from hotel to dmall in 25 minutes

1. Unfriendly staff !!! 2. The free breakfast was bland, we ended up actually paying for breakfast elsewhere. Train your staff in customer service, they appeared bored and unfriendly, I would not recommend Microtel to my friends for this reason! I have not experienced this kind of poor service anywhere else in my 3 months travelling through The Philippines.

hotel position excellant, staff very friendly but limited in their understanding of English. Service was slow in the bar and restaurant. Front desk very efficient. Excellant value for money.

- The hotel is missing a person at the front desk: they have one person but she is under water as the phone is always ringing and many guests are queeing to check in, ask questions.... - The hotel is famous for its quietness but actually some roosters were crowing all night long and an open air night party was organised 2 nights in row nearby. - The beach front was covered with seaweed which didnt get cleared.

The location was fantastic. The staff were fantastic, (even the security guards were great especally jr). The wait staff at the resturant and bar. Great!!!!!!!!!!!! It is hard to think of any negatives.

The breakfast menu could be a little more flexable.
