Liked the place in general, esp. the bar. The food's OK and price is reasonable.
We had small kids with us so they should've billeted us ground level.
Food was good. We ate there most of the time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The deluxe family room was great with a 10 year old and 16 year old getting their own beds. Couldn't ask for a better location along the beach.
Jungle like atmosphere around the rooms themselves. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Great bar and wait staff. The staff, management, and location really make this place. Bar is super for people watching.
Not Nigi Nigi's fault but the walkway between the bar and the beach all the way down white beach needs to be leveled. Way too easy to turn an ankle there.
The crew at the reception Location.
Wi-FI works not allway in My room. I miss whater heater in My rum
Moving to another room
First room offered, at premium rate!!!!!! Floor board cracked, aircoin fixed with sellotape, windows so dirty you cant see through. Stairs leading to room , security rail broken and dirty water dropping on your head as you walk up. Verandah floor board broken and covered with a mat. Luckily me and no it my child stepped on it. Bathroom stank., sewerage smell when showering., free toiletries consist of three bars of soap. Had to take tablet repeatedly to reception as password given did not work. Excuse is hotel full. After complaint , moved to deluxe room. Thank you ,but should no it have been offered this room. Accommodation was paid in FULL before arrival. Please don't treat guests in this manner . Noticed that the specific room was empty our entire stay , as well as many others , so FULL excuse doesn't sit well . never again , rather go to another resort
Quiet place even though it was in the busy station of Boracay and it had a huge bar and a Subway in front. The rooms and huts were within a huge garden. Huge room. Great breakfast.
We booked for 4 pax and when we got there, they said the room is for families and is only good for two adults and two children. And they asked us to pay extra fees for two adults of about $85 per night, which isn't a tiny sum. I don't get this -- we still stayed in the same room, we don't get a larger bed just because we're adults, and they even gave us two adult and two kiddie coupons for the breakfast menu instead of four adult ones. It was a huge cost we weren't expecting to pay, and I still don't understand now why they were making us pay it.
* The front desk staff were very helpful. * The rooms were bright and airy. * Amenities were of a high standard.
* Some construction works in and around the site. * Odor emitted from the toilet
Beach front location with a great bar and restaurant. The spacious cottages are clean and comfortable with wrap around balconies.
Firstly, location was excellent because it was very close to D'talipapa while D'Mall is just a 10 minutes walk away, making it very convenient for us.The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the portion was just right. They will also regularly replenish our complimentary bottled drinks.
Free WiFi was weak or on most occasions, no connectivity at all. The blanket provided was thin and did not provide much comfort when sleeping with the aircon switched on.
It's a wonderful place. The garden surrounding is just beautiful and the cottages are really lovely with that native style. Highly recommend!
Location, comfort, style
Good position , just in the middle of station 2 where day and night life rune.. Good bar and restaurant.. Beach facilities available for the guest.. Security man always attending resort and guests. Huge and cleaned room
European prices for drink and food
right next to the beach access to beach chairs
"breakfast included". Not really true. A voucher for 320 pesos was included, but not everything on breakfast menu did come under that limit. And if you went over the limit suddenly service charge was added.
Very casual place with great bar and food on beach Great location right on beacj
Wifi very slow
Location. Bar. Food. Rooms
Wifi is very poor.
The hotel is well situated to many other restaurants and bars. The room was nice, we were looking for a traditional style with a basic modern conveniences which this has with a safe in room, clean bathroom, AC and cable TV. The balcony area overlooking the garden is beautiful and makes you feel like you are on a tropical island paradise.
The music played in the bar during the evenings (retro and 80's). Vendors trying to sell you items at any time when in the bar or on the beach, you could be talking or sleeping and they just interrupt (if you do decide to buy something bargain hard start with 25-30% of what they offer initially).
location, relaxed about guests, lovely garden, best bar on island
no pool (but beach nearby so no need), slightly too beach shack for the price point, wifi didn't work in room (although was ok in bar area)
An ideal location for the beach lover right on the beach (no shoes required for the whole duration of your stay)...close to D Mall and other restaurants and shops if required. The beach bar is very popular with a good menu. Breakfast is pretty good. The rooms (bungalows) are good sized rather basic bathroom with shower only but clean. They are reasonable size but limited storage space.
Cannot understand the additional cost for deluxe rooms as the only difference is they are at ground level. The standard rooms have exactly the same facilities and finishes but are on the level above each deluxe cottage. This means there is probable 15 steel steps to each cottage (so be careful coming straight from the bar!!) but have an added advantage of a loft with additional beds.
- Good location - Comfortable functional rooms - Good bar
- Staff not really too friendly - could do more to make you feel welcome - Had a problem with the toilet but staff just really ignored it - Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs very poor condition and no one really cares
Central location at station 2 and right on the great beach. The included breakfast was great.
Four different wifis meant having to change from the room to the restaurant or our son's room. The steep spiral stairs to our room only had a partial banister made from well frayed nylon rope was hard on the hands. The staff also parked a cart and motorcycle at the bottom making it impossible to go up without moving them.
The bar/restaurant and very friendly staff.
washing sop for bed sheets and pillow cases
The absolute coolest and best location in my opinion. It wouldn't matter who you are or who you're traveling with, this small but cosy resort is right on the beach and in the middle from all the places you want to go. They even have local connections for diving / snorkeling and fishing. The food and drinks are also great for a reasonable price.
our room was spacious; generally clean and comfortable; nice ambiance for a holiday vacation; restful, peaceful; beach front; staff were helpful; electric fan helped cool the room since the aircon was tucked in the far corner. fresh salad available. automatic supply of fresh towels.
1 dead cockroach in the bathroom.
