No staff on call, no phone to call the front desk officer.. no reception area, road going to the hotel is really most especially when you're carrying a lot of luggage.
The room is okay. It's clean but a bit small.

breakfast was not good. aircon was poor as well.
hotel did have beach beds in front of the beach, great value being located in station 1, relaxing view, i would recommend it for couples like us who just wanted to chill, drink and relax.

nearby the beach and comfortable
March 27, 2015
-No access via the main road so long walk via beach to get to the resort (only a hassle really when arriving and departing with luggage) -Front beach area of resort had day beds but it was a hang out for vendors which could be disruptive when you are trying to relax (other resorts don't allow vendors to enter their area) -No fridge in the room -Bathroom lighting is too dim -TV remote was not working right for our room -No view of the beach
Overall, we had a great stay at One Azul Boracay. It really is great value for money especially with the location it is in. Don't expect a place with facilities though because this resort really just offers simple, comfortable accommodations in a quiet area. We will definitely stay here again if we are able to get the same promo rate. Not sure though if I would be wiling to spend regular price for this resort. I believe there are other resorts with complete facilities that have similar rates to their regular price. -Clean room with comfortable bed and modern design -Clean bathroom -Functional air-conditioning, nice flat screen TV with cable -Free breakfast -Strong wifi -Few steps from the beach, located in Station 1 (quiet area) -Transfers booked for us by staff with our request via Southwest (convenient transfers) -Room rate was really affordable even during peak season, half of their regular rate -Flight was delayed but we had no problems checking in even if it was past 10pm -Request for 1st floor rooms to avoid going up and down the stairs

Comfort for backpackers

There is no complimentary water in our room. We are aso disappointed with the wifi connection of the hotel, very slow connection.
The hotel is very near the beach located at station 1. The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. They even helped me surprised my boyfriend for his birthday.

Maybe the hotel should improve the facade of their place to look at par with adjacent hotels.
I was actually staying at Shangrila Boracay but kept this place so I would have a place for my things and easy access to Station 1 for half the price of adjacent hotels. Very nice and accommodating staff!

we arrived to the hotel late around 9pm. The hotel is hard to find and is not located near the rd. You have to walk about 10mins along the beach to reach the hotel in which is not easy to locate. There is no clear sign. When we first arrived we where put in a very small room on the second floor and the room was supper small. I received a letter from management mentioning that I would be placed the first floor in which the rooms are bigger. After reminding management of the letter we were moved to the first floo. The room was bigger and the beds where comfortable. There where dead roaches and ants on the shower and I. The bathroom around the toilet. Once I complained mama genet came to clean and there where no more bug problem, over all the hotel was good. It's on Boat station1 which is the best part of the beach and clear waters. Recommendations, they need to have better lighting to find the hotel, daily clean before you have to tell them and always clean and check the room before guest arrive. The hotel is pricy during CNY
the staff was very friendly and the breakfest was enjoyable.the beds where also comfortable. The hotel is on the beach next to a great Morrocain resturant with great drinks.

There was a night during our stay where it had a brownout for around 3 hours (past midnight). The following night, electricity fluctuated for at least 30 minutes. They mentioned it was the entire strip that had no electricity, but they admitted the guy in charge of the generator was out. It was really no big deal as the weather was good and I know the management can still improve on this.
Located in station 1 - serene and more quiet. Resto/Grill is convenient for quick bites. Price is best vs. other station 1 hotels. Staff is very friendly, the security guard assisted us to the pathway at 5am to get a tricycle at the back street on our departure day.

Price and location
January 7, 2015
You have to ask to have your room cleaned.. With the prices peak season and being practically being at the beach, it should be a given it is done every day. Breakfast included.. Not so much.. In a local cafe you got 100 pesos worth of breakfast included. Besides a fruit cheapest thing there was 140 pesos. Hardly worth including at all when I planned to breakfast to fill up for the day and stretch budget.. Ended up not doing much breakfast at all as it was insufficient anyhow (3 pieces a toast, fried eggs, some beans and some spread for 170 pesos got you started, but so would McDonalds)
Facilities were nice. A bit hard to find when you arrive late, but good enough. Friendly staff.Got invited for free new years dinner :))

They need to have their generators run ready if there are any power interruptions in the area
It's located in Station 1 which i think is the most peaceful and cleaner part of the beach.

Only one... Going there, going in from the main road to the hotel, and going out is not what I expected. If I am a foreigner, I will have second thoughts going out from the hotel to the main road at night. The way is too narrow, it is literally an alley. If you are bringing in a lot of luggage and big ones, I wonder how you will carry it in-and-out. Better travel light.
1. Very, very professional staff. They (adel and Jane, the guard-on duty) were very professional, accommodating and courteous. 2. The room was ok. Clean, and orderly. Dust in the bed side shelves can be cleaned. 3. I did not expect the wi-fi to be exceptionally wonderful (I don't know if this will be true if all occupants will use wi-fi). 4. Very nice spot for family or couples. The location is quiet, you can have spiritual reflections before dawn, or late-afternoon swim before dusk, without the disturbances/noise..

Location - Not really beach view but beach front, about 20 steps. Main entrance is facing another house(?)/resort where there were a lot of locals. Seems safe but for girls travelling together, best to be careful. To access location of the small hotel, you have to exit into the beach from Seawind Resort onwards as it has no entrance from the road. This is challenging if you have travel luggages with you. Room - room is small. Bed springs made it uncomfy to sleep but tolerable enough. Sockets by both bedside tables were not working--bring extension cord if ever. Bathroom- WORST PART. Dimly lit. Low pressure from water (we had to call maintenance to get a decent shower). NO HOT WATER. We advised reception but they never fixed it (we only stayed 2 days though). FREE BREAKFAST- food Is average. Don't expect much. Overall at 2,5k php (approx 50 USD) per night, this is relatively cheaper than your neighboring resorts which range from min 8k php (approx 200 USD). You can indulge in buffets in those resorts from the money you save at this resort. What you pay for is the beach front access to Station 1, not the room amenities. Make sure to check the hot water and lights upon check in. There are some food options nearby and a convenience store but a long walk to commercial side of Station 2.
Location is ideal if you're looking for some beach privacy with less tourists. It's right before Discovery Shores so there are less people. Ideal for couples looking for a peaceful affordable getaway accessible to Station 1 beachfront (maybe 30 steps or less). Room was nicely decorated also. Staff allowed us early check in at 12 and late check out until 2pm for free. Strong wifi.

Quite a walk to the bars and restaurants. Not much open in the vicinity in the evening
Quiet location on the best stretch of beach
