Their is not good restaurant in this property

Pan Pacific Hotel Malate is since more than 15 years my regular beliked Hotel during my stays in Manila - and I have NO intention to even TRY another Hotel... It is a SUPER Hotel under SUPER management with a SUPER competent, friendly and devoted staff, offering SUPER comfort in a very lively area (shops, restaurants, lounges) of Manila, with easy access to the airport.

Friendly staff. Excellent room. Beautiful view from the room. They've got their own swimming pool.

It was located near the "red light" district, so you wouldn't want to get a walk in the evening near the hotel. The restaurant is overpriced and the food was tasteless.

Everything! Very friendly staff, immaculate facilities. Really enjoyed my stay

dit is het allereerste hotel in Manila dat wij "whow" vonden, zeer vriendelijk,behulpzaam personeel, wat ook zeer belangrijk is , het krijgen van zoveel mineraal water als we wilden.Uitstekend hotel.

Malate 지역에 위치하여 주변 상점들이 가깝고 호텔은 깔끔하고 맛집들이 내부에 있어 편리합니다.

위치가 출장시에는 불편할 것 같습니다. 수영장도 생각보다 너무 작았습니다.

設備・サービスレベルと現地物価を考慮すると宿泊料 高すぎると思いました

Everything was great and perfect!

The room (an executive single) was nice. It was clean. It had free internet.

The hotel did not have my booking.com booking and the hotel did not want to even check me in on my own credit card while the booking matter was straightened out. They told me to find another location and that the problem was really mine with booking.com. I had to call booking.com in London to get it straightened. out. Under pressure from booking.com, the hotel miraculously found a room, which means they could have just checked me in on my own credit card and settled the matter of the booking the following morning. Otherwise the service was, at best, mediocre. The internet (I used the wired internet) was slow, very slow.

Room was comfortable and spacious, typical of this chain. No problem with facilities.

Reception staff not as efficient as I expected. There was confusion over whether I had paid at time of booking or not. I paid by debit card yet was asked for large deposit for hotel facilities. when it was discussed further it was apparent that any repayment would take about 4 weeks to process if the payment was made by debit card. In the end I did pay a cash deposit at reduced rate but refused to use hotel facilities as a result! I got the deposit back at the end of stay but this type of thing can only impair customer relations. The hotel is geared mainly to Japanese and Korean customers which accounts for the silly high prices for drinks and food. I would not recommend this hotel for westerners as there are many other reasonably priced hotels in this vicinity that are more than adequate for half the price.
