People often talk about "a home from home" when they travel, which gives a lovely sense of "homeliness" and comfort - well, Rosepoint is truly a place where you will not want to leave - and yearn to return! Mario and his wonderful staff go out of their way to make sure that you have, simply put, the best time of your life in Rosepoint Beach. Nothing is impossible. They will arrange any tour you want, see anything you want to see in the region, arrange pickup from the airport, whip up any delightful delicious meal you want and ensure that you enjoy every minute of your stay. They welcome you into their family with arms wide open :-) With the very capable and delightfully obliging Corny in the kitchen, the mouthwatering dishes served only add to the enjoyment - throw in a few of the local San Mig beers and you're good to go!!! Other staff are uber-friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Rein-Rein and Ian for showing me around, arranging BBQs, tours, sightseeing trips etc. The gorgeously comfortable ensuite and air-conditioned bungalows (with TV offering multiple local/international channels, fridge provided etc) are right on the beach, affording the guest stunning views of the coastline. The sunsets are tear-inducingly memorable. This really is one step away from heaven! I cannot recommend Rosepoint Beach enough to travellers. This is a fabulous part of the Philippines, away from the tourist crowds (though Boracay isn't that far away should you like to visit, which Mario will happily arrange). During all my travels around the world over the years, I don't think I have stayed in a better place - and am dying to return! Highly recommend, with five stars on top!! Thank you Mario, Corny, Rein-Rein, Ian, Paula and the rest of the staff for an amazing time! "A home from home", indeed! You guys rock!!

    That I couldn't stay longer!!!!!

Emotions overwhelmed! This was the really best place we stayed in the whole of the Philippines and not only. Great place for real relax. Came there with my friends to check-in for 1 day and stayed there finally instead of the Boracay, and was really happy and proud of our choice when visited Boracay. Place was really amazing great, that was as we expected to. Front window looked out on the sea, it was about 15m to, another window looked out on the river. Very nice to see cold springs as well, about 10 min driving. Very quite place, there are no any tourists, just locals. Very very friendly obliging staff and Mario (owner) in head of. Mario is was really best of the best, haven't had the same before in all my trips. They helped us with every our wishlist. Very friendly locals that we met there. Very reasonable staying. Very very tasty kitchen and almost private chef cuz who cooked all and how we wanted to, and cheap at the same time. Wi-Fi everywhere. Many many many thanks to Mario and his great staff for unforgetable days we spent there. Want to came back in future for sure.

For us nothing! Maybe for the people who's looking for the parties and want to see 5* hotel (on Philipinnes it's almost impossible). It's not 5* hotel with all the facilities but private bed, shower, satellite tv and fridge were there. ORDER the transfer from this hotel before you came there. Another way, you can spend a lot of time, trying to get the transfer from the airport, especially at night as we did.

Excellent place to unwind and relax. Room was right on the beach. Very picturesque beach, with the mountains surrounding the sea. Very beautiful spot. Nice sandy beach, and the water was very clear and clean. Peaceful, as I was the only guest there. Very friendly staff. Helpful, and decent food at the restaurant.

The room was a bit dilapidated, with wooden floorboards, and the bathroom wasn't that nice. The spray on the shower wasn't good, but there was hot water. Thought the room was a bit overpriced. Only problem with the beach was that the seabed was pebbly and rocky, which meant it was uncomfortable to stand in the water, but great for snorkeling. Another thing was that the hotel was difficult to get to. Over an hour's drive from Kalibo airport. Driver's were asking for 1500 PHP. Managed to get a ride for 700 but had to wait for over an hour for other passengers. On the way back I got a bus from the local town but the journey between the hotel and the airport took over 3 hours.

Everything is awesome! This is a hidden gem resort -- unreal! Great staff and amazing cook! Very accommodating. They even climbed a coconut tree to get us free coconut water. Nice rooms, awesome beach. We tubed down Mulmpati Springs right to the resort on the ocean. If your into diving they have a dive resort here too. Thanks to amazing time!

This was the best place we stayed in the whole of the Philippines. The staff were amazing, the food was great and the service was brilliant. We stayed in the beach front cottages which have a perfect spot on the private beach, and the fridge inside was also quite handy. The owner Mario was brilliant, and along with his staff goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. This would be a perfect place to combine with a stay in Boracay, or like we did instead of. We stayed here as we thought Boracay would be overly developed, after visiting there for a day we felt we had made the right choice, though the beach there is amazing. The local cold spring swimming spot is worth a visit and there are a variety of activities that can be arranged through Rosepoint. It was also nice that there didn't seem to be any Mosquitos around, which was unusual for this kind of location. Thanks again to Mario and his staff for a great stay !

This was a stopover on our way to Boracay Island. We were warmly greeted by Mario & staff. As this resort is still under construction the menu is limited, suggest take along some extra snacks. A great Isolated place to be away from it all.
