Need new furnishing, especially Aircon units.

they greeted me with a welcome birthday cake upon checking in. my family really enjoyed the pool and the security that the hotel provided to the guests by limitting access to rooms. .

the perfume in the corridor isnt that pleasing to smell. . .maybe something more fresh. . .

about 60% of staff is very friendly, staff is good trained. good cuisine, good maintened rooms, excellant swimming pool, doctor and pharmacy in the hotel.

flatulency and paroday to be french is comical, staff always say 'bonjour', but nobody can continue a conversation in french. some staff is too pompous. dress code in the bar near swimming pool in tropical country is absurd.

Rooms were very comfortable and the hotel restaurant is fantastic, very good choice and friendly staff.

Service is very slow, waited 30 minutes for a tea and coffee even though no one else was in the lounge at the time.

I staid for 3 days at the hotel. I very happy with the service and value for money.

Had an excellent stay. Excellent accommodation and facilities and very helpful and friendly staff made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The food was excellent, including the breakfast buffet which was vast and covered many different cuisines. If staying in Manila again I would definitely stay in the Sofitel. It offers good central location and value for money.

There was some noise from construction work being conducted to the sea front but overall this did not ruin our stay.

Staff would recommend there own taxi service quite often if you we're going out and about. But not really an issue as they would organise a public taxi for you.

EVERYTHING!! I can quite honestly say, despite my extensive travels the Sofitel Manila is easily the most pleasant stay I have had anywhere in the world!

every thing in this hotel i dont like as i was in this hotel 35 years ago and every thing is still the same , the only thing it change is the name , they say it is 5 star , i will not give more than 3 stars , as i have booked for 7 days , in the 3rd day i left this hotel , as i could not live more in it , and i went to fairmont hotel, which was really 5 stars and the suite was cheeper

Just by the sea and close to large shopping mall`s, only 1/2 h from the airport

slow and low service from the check in to the F&B outlet`s, to many stuff`s, but near nowbody work with interest. The pool aerea was dirty, nowbody clean. Look´s, that the bord should fire the management in this hotel.

the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The food was exceptional and the facilities excellent. The facities were numerous and anything you requested was delt with immidiately . well done

I was amazed of the amenities Sofitel it provides especially the ambience and the security of the hotel. Overall I will give it a 5 star. Superb!

I have a 4 am flight to another domestic destination so I have to clear my accounts in advance but to my disappointment my room card was deactivated which I am sure it's just a glitch.

Great place to stay. Secluded from the city and near the Manila bay, the hotel is a great place for peace, privacy, and relaxation. It's like An Oasis in the middle of the a city.

Didnt like the fact of a 200 deposit for insurance purpose of the hotel. And in conclusion I didn't understand the receipt, therefore wasn't sure if I was charged from my deposit after leaving. The clerk Attendance did not explain the details when checking out.

The food and the pool

Touted as "interactive buffet", the hotels premier resto "Spiral" offered the widest selection of food.....you need an unparalleled appetite just to sample every bit in it...looking out into Manila Bay, from the manicured gardens surrounding the pool areas, you'd think you are in an island resort except that this is right in the middle of the city.

I wish they had more rooms fronting the pool and the sea...

No interest for business trip. WIFI is chargeable.

The bed was amazing... It was quiet and staff spoke good English. They also remembered orders at the restaurant which was great.

Its away from the main buzz.. They had their own 'taxi service' and charged 600pesos just to get into town (actual taxi ride costs 80pesos) and charges 1500pesos to take you to the airport. Its a bit steep considering the airport is only a 115peso ride in a cab.

Housekeeping was done twice a day. Very pleasant staff. Quite a distance from busy areas, quiet area. Security was tight.

The swimming pool was dirty. No outside cooked food allowed. No convenience store nearby.
