Tune Hotel - Ermita, Manila  

Good location near Robinsons Mall.

The stiff room door, slams all the time. Weak WiFi signal in most rooms.

Only the price the first day as the next time I came back the price was put up 500pesos ,reason I was given was there's a lot of people so I checked out got a better deal along the road better hotel

I had to wait to long to check in and can be noisy doors banging during the night but my gripe is with booking .com as would not change my dates as my course was relocated so I had to change my dates I won't use again

The hotel is nice, helpful staff and clean rooms.

The area is definettely no good to stay. Never recommend Ermita. There´s another Tune Hotel (Air Asia chain) in Makati, a much better place to host.

I liked the fact that their is a nice friendly Irish bar that provides good food,drinks,music and a friendly service.all the staff working in the hotel are friendly towards guests.it all helps make my stay at the hotel a pleasant one than you!

The only thing I did'nt like was that the wifi stopped working in my room.

1. Lets start with the misleading rate...Tune hotel always first on search pruce-wise because it dies nit unclude towel(?), wifi, ac, tv and 22% taxes. So unstead if $30 it came to almost $50 2. The room is tiny! Has no closet (why?) or even aby stand to put clitges in...very uncomfortable! 3. No phone! Every time you need something you have to walk down, or to the public phone near elevator? What kind of a hotel is that? This isnt right! 4. They were trying to bill yiu for anything! Even to store your luggage for 3 hours ($1.5) OVERALL YOU HAD THE FEELING THAT YOU HAVE BEEN MANIPULATED

Location is alright, pretty neat and cosy hotel for $35

The room was smelling of smoke, as if someone was smoking there, plus a room is sooo small, that if you wearing a backpack, standing on the only available place, then you need to struggle not to smash tv on the wall... And guys, what's with the tv and wifi for money... Eh?

Beds good ,good hot shower ,7 -11 shop right next door which was handy. Good fans in rooms so aircon not needed, wifi good

Rooms on the small side. The room had a small pull down table by the bed but could have done with a larger one to put bags on instead stuck in the corner of the room .tv reception not good on all channels, two extra pillows would help .

The whole staff was absolutely adorable and extremely helpful. The room, although not very big, had a very comfortable size and design. It's obvious the hotel is pretty new and everything is in very good shape and clean. Clean towels and sheets are provided upon request. Besides, I was happily surprised as I had a free internet access during the whole week I stayed at the hotel, both in my room and on the reception computers. The hotel also offers a car with driver service. There's a British pub and a 7/11 store right down the hotel, which is highly convenient, especially since the 7/11 is open very late, maybe all night but not sure about that (it was open at 2am on a Friday night for sure though). There's also an atm accepting a wide range of cards right outside the hotel. Although not located in the best part of Manila, Tune Hotel - Ermita is fairly conveniently located as you can grab a taxi super easily right outside that can take you to any place of interest in 15-20 minutes assuming there's no traffic jam. Count 45 min to 1 hour with the jams. And all in all, the price was really cheap for the whole thing. One of the best hotels I've ever been to! Congrats!

The only real bad thing in Tune Hotel Malate was the lack of noise insulation. Some people were shouting past midnight in the corridors, and the doors had to slam hard to be shut. Some cars from the street could also be heard. It's ok if you're a heavy sleeper but that's really the only issue in that hotel according to me.

they don't clean the room and the air-conditioner is extremely noisy, corridors are also noisy, you can't really get a good rest.

I very much loved Tune Hotel which is in my opinion a 4 star that simply is in a somewhat rough neighborhood. They did a great job (in our room) at keeping the neighborhood noise and the trouble outside. I loved the polite staff and our booking plan, but wasn't sure I would like the 'add on what you need plan' because coming from USA winter to the heat of Manila without AC would be real pain. Overall, they were clean, friendly, relaxing, safe, and a great bunch of folks.

I can't really say anything bad about the Hotel or the experience. Maybe a small coffee maker in the room, with provided snack breakfast would be the top. I want to try Tune at more scenic locations but this one was perfect for what I came for.

Shower alwasy overflow. WiFi access hardly there, very weak, u had to let the door open. And never take the waiting taxi recommended by the door man. I took it twice and both occasion, they refuse to use the meter. Door man receives commission.

Good value for money New hotel, so rooms are still nice.

Very noisy, difficult to sleep. They have a buzzer for every car that goes into the basement parking. It was so loud that it woke me every time even though I was on the 9th floor. I asked them about it, and they said that they wouldn't change it. Very big minus for this hotel. Cleaning staff also very noisy in the morning, talking to each other from opposite ends of the hallway, right outside the rooms.
