Score from 32 reviews Good
Nice sea view, good landscape, greenery
Some rooms have no A/c. Beach is far away
Really nice place with amazing view from the restaurant. Swimming pool was clean and empty, the staff was helpful, the food was tasty in the restaurant. We loved the place.
We had two fans instead of air conditioning in the room (we were afraid that it would be hot at night, but it wasn't at all). It's 20 minutes road to the beach by the tricycle, but you should ask the staff for the tricycle and a nice man will get you to the beach for 150 peso.
Everything nice, in this area one of the best, pool is available in night time, secured place and staff is really awsome. They are able to help you with everything.
Breakfast is allways eggs, butter, jam, but it cant be problem. For the hot weather is it enought.
Good view from window Nice staff
Too far away from the sand beach. Beach near by resort is too dirty Close to the noisy road
Ate Linda and Ate Juliet were awesome, they were super friendly and very accomodating, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very relaxing all in all. We loved it.
Because of limited staff the food took too long to be prepared and that the food was not stocked in the hotel and needed to be purchased per order, this can be resolved by taking the guests order at least the night before and setting a specific time for when the meal is prepared to avoid a long wait for meals to be purchased and then prepared or alternatively have a set menu for each day and supplies are purchased accordingly, the beach area was not very well taken care of but then again I put the blame on management for not providing sufficient staff to care for the property accordingly. We hope this is resolved before our next visit, the current team was awesome and despite being understaffed they did their best to make us feel at home and it worked :) we're looking forward to our next visit to vhr
The employees of the resort were really accomodating.
We loved the place. Service was really great and accommodating, even though it was the Holy Week (where it gets to be the peak season for beach vacation trips in the Philippines). We got to know the owner/caretaker and she was very nice and helpful since it was our first time to be there (and first time travellers as well haha). We got the standard room, with Wifi access, cable tv, electric fans (you don't need the aircon as it's so breezy) with views of the sea. VERY BEAUTIFUL and peaceful. Food is okay, just make sure if you are eating dinner there to inform the staff ahead in advance to prepare the menu for you. One order is good for two, we didn't finish our order in fact (they can keep it for you and reheat it if you still want to eat it later on) The complementary breakfast is a Continental one. Was okay :) If you want to get out and about in the town, they'll help call for tricycles for you. As well as suggest places to go / visit.
At one point during our overnight stay though the cable tv had gotten out but only for around 10 minutes. The hot and cold shower was a bit broken though - it's hard to get the hot temperature right but nevertheless our stay was great. Their own private beach is not maintained in the sense that the sandy areas are full of dead leaves, shells etc (no trash). But the caretakers told us they were already doing stuff to get regular maintenance. The beach is a bit stony but, it's your very own beach :) If you do want to get to White Beach, it takes around a 20 minute tricycle ride to get there. That being said, be prepared to spend money on transportation on getting there and back to the Villa. The hotels / resorts situated in White Beach tend to get noisy and full of people (White Beach has more restaurants, stores AND party people haha) so staying at Villa de Pico is worth it if you want peace, serenity and rest after swimming :)
Its a basic but fantastic place especially the villas, fantastic location with postcard view... friendly staff, helpful at any time. Anytime again!!!!
After some months of hard work, we truly enjoyed the beauty and quiet of the place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Birte and Stefaan, Ternat
Staff and location were wonderful. Great value and simple operation as we went during off season and it was not crowded. Location between Sabang and White Beach was ideal as it's a short tricycle to either, and as a result it's super quiet in the evenings. Mentioning a few things in the did not like, but would go back to this location in a heartbeat. Was a terrific experience.
Plumbing not the best, Bed and mattress very basic, wireless not great in rooms away from office and lots and lots of stairs - not an issue for me, but maybe someone older.
Quite place, good filipino food and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the bay. If you want to escape from chaos is the right place. Regards to Ate Linda!
Lil bit far from White Beach, 15 min by trycicle.
The location was could be viewed as a good or bad thing. It was about half way between Sabang and White Beach which means a rather lengthy trike ride to either destination. However, if u r looking to escape from things and just chill out then the location is excellent. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views of the bay. It just depends what u r looking for. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
The view was breathtaking. The service was amazing. The property is well-maintained and offers peace and quiet. The friendliness of the staff was beyond exceptional. My daughters absolutely loved this hotel.
It is a bit far from White Beach so you will either have to rent a motorbike or rely on tricycles/ jeepneys to get around during your stay. There are numerous stairs leading to the property. They were not a problem for us as we packed light, but those with lots of luggage or health/ mobility issues should be forewarned.
The beautiful garden, the awesome view from the restaurant, the very welcoming and friendly staff.
It's a bit in the middle of nowhere so if you don't have a car / motor bike it might be a bit difficult to get there and away. We came by car so no problem.
The staff, the atmosphere and the quietness.
Lack of close by beach and restaurants.
AIRCON is noisy not clean the room everyday breakfast is the same day everyday not so good to stay
Fantastic staff. Thanks Eva and Kevin, you were amazing. Excellent hospitality. We left as friends!
Staff if very friendly, I like it :)
There exist wild beach with no people
1.Deluxe rooms must include an air-condition. I paid for the room with air con, but they give me a room with fans only. And the price was 3000P per day!!! 2 it was very noisy, because it is located close to the road. I couldn't sleep well 3. The hotel located on the hill and there is no any elevators or lifts to get there. You have to climb about 20m high. It is essential if you are old year-old person. 4 The price is too high for the kind of hotel.
- Beautiful setting, super peaceful, very friendly
- Beach right by the Villa really rocky and unattractive, therefore rather poor location without own transport (but cheap scooter hire available in Sabang) - Disappointing breakfast
A fantastic beautiful location, in beautiful grounds. The people running it were very helpful and friendly and excellent value for money
Intermitent hot water and room a bit small. Always had to get a bike taxi to go anywhere but these are cheap
The location was good with sweeping views from a high perspective. Staff helpful and accommodating.
Some tricycle drivers didn't know the location. My beef dinner was as tough as old boots but other food during our stay was fine. There are a number of steps to the accommodation area and may not be suitable for older people and/or disabled people.
