Score from 23 reviews Very good
Room has a weird smell. Kept me up all night. Bought my own room freshener.
the staff there, really helpful, the hotel itself even if the soundings was really damaged by Yolanda, rooms of high standard.
nothing to dislike, it is a residence hotel not a resort, as such it is perfect. wish there was more activities though but after the typhoon it is not easy to arrange, guess it was better before.
The bedroom and the lounge/kitchenette very beautiful..Furnishings very nice and a 32"flat screen each room. complementary coffee and electric jug. WI FI good.
Its a weird arrangement the hotel has... NO room in the hotel has a refrigerator.!!!! So you have a great kitchenette .but no where to keep any drinks or food cold.. It cant be the cost of the refrigerator the problem as the cost of the 32" tv in that area be about same as ref. Just about all ok hotels have a fridge. But this whole hotel has no room fridges
Clean room, amenities were good. Get a queen size bed too. They have a 24/7 Guard and the courtyard is gated so there is no direct access from the street by unwanted guests. The staff work with us to upgrade the room to a larger bed for the 2 of us. They have a shuttle to the airport too for 150PhP pp.
The telephone never worked even after notifying desk staff. The breakfast was fair, but not made by the Z Pad people, comes from off-site.
We were there during Typhoon Yolanda. The staff and owner looked after us before, during and after the typhoon. Even though they suffered great personal loss. Other hotels were abandoned by their employees, leaving the guests with nothing.
Modern hotel. Just built in 2012. Close to everything, downtown Tacloban, church, hospital and Jolibbee, a fast food restaurant just like mcd. Only difference is that they serve native filipino dishes, Palabok, spaghetti, chicken, anytime. We have spaghetti for breakfast most of the time. We get to know the crew and the security guard. However, we were caught by Typhoon Yolanda off guard. The flood water was 7 foot high, the first floor rooms were only 8 foot high. We almost drowned. We are only 5 foot+tall and bad swimmers. We stayed here 10 days. On the 11th day, Nov 8th, Typhoon Yolanda hit. And all hotels in Tacloban including the z Pad, became a fema camp special. No water, no flush toilet, no dry bed, no electricity. The hotel provided bottled water, some crackers, cookies and hot dogs.. And some bandaid for my swollen thumb. No communication, no cellphones. The crew was helpful and tended to all hotel guests as if we were family. I gave one of the housekeeping crew 100 pesos to buy us a loaf of bread. He came back with no bread but a tube of Oreo cookies. He returned the 100 pesos. What an honest guy.
It is close to a slum area neighborhood. There are live chickens, roosters and dogs not on a leash. After the Typhoon hit, this slum area houses were completely turned upside down, and absolutely devastated and everything turned into debris that covered the street, made it unpassable. Of course, this is true for all of tacloban and surrounding areas. It is not the hotel's fault at all. It was mother nature's wrath. Next time we should get a room on the second or 3rd floor. The hotel might be a sea front hotel since the slum area is gone. We could see the sea water from the balcony of the second floor.
the rooms are modern, bright and the bathrooms were exceptionally well constructed.
The room and surroundings were a building site in progress..there were extra doors like in bathroom were you were unsure of dynamics.
All not satisfied
Room too small. Service no good.
very clean and modern
location, no restaurant
I generally liked the place
I think the family room was space wasted.but I did not need to use as I was alone I guess the families can all meet.
Facilities were clean and new. Very comfortable bed with duvet. Prompt room service. Friendly responsive staff.
i like the design and furnitures.
no rice cooker nor ref at the kitchen.
Clean and close to airport.
Noisy aircon, why spend on a large Samsung LCD then install cheap aircon? Bedroom space was cramped, not the best use of space for a suite.
Nice Room and friendly staff.
The price was decent.
They charged an extra 500php for not checking out at exactly 2pm..we were 15 minutes late checking out. They didn't have ice or a refrigerator. The room was small.
- no facilities at all - ridiculously small bathroom - bad arrangement for single traveller as you have to share another room in the apartment with a total stranger
This is probably the neatest hotel you can find in Tacloban; it's shiny and new and stands outfrom the overall background of the city. The staff is very friendly and all the rooms are air conditioned.
Due to the fact that Tacloban is rather rural, the "wildlife" there is rather abundant - if you open you windows, little lizards would crawl into the room, so it can get a bit claustrophobic and the a/c has to be on all the time. There's also a bit of an ant problem but that might not be in all thr rooms.
very comfortable bed! best bed in 5 weeks travel.
Rooms are small. One was given to me that has a structural post inside which made it less maneuverable inside the room. I had to squeeze into a 5 inch walkway to get to the bathroom. This room should be the last room to be offered to any client. I am certain there are better rooms in the building but just very disappointed the room was given to me at 1300 per night. Aircon was noisy too
I made a reservation and a superior room 90 sq., but on arrival I was given not one that I ordered.
