U can have any time u ilke which was so much on offer great
Once I arrived to the hotel everything was great. Bed was nice, Tom was nice, temperature was nice and even the bathroom was nice! Then again I'd expect nothing less from a 5* hotel! I originally booked a Delux room but ended up getting Executive! Not sure how much extra I've paid but it was great.
Pick service missed me at the airport so I was ringing the hotel and they were unable to help for 30 mins. I was tired, exhausted and had a splitting headache while trying to explain to hotel staf I need picking up. They passed me from one person to next! Every time they transferred me to new person I had to Explain the situation and tell them who I was, give them all the booking details and then being told I need to ring a number that was wrong. By the time I got to hotel I settled the payment. It was Rs 10,000 more than I was expecting for some reason! It wasn't an issue as luckily I had enough cash! Soon as I got to my room there was loud banging noises coming from room next door and it sounded like renovation work was carried out! This lasted for around an hour luckily as I wanted to sleep! At the check out I found out I was charged around Rs 8500 more as deposite, which would've been nice to know at the time of payment as now I have 8500 Pakistani rupees sitting collecting dust! Service was not what you'd expect from 5* hotel. Or maybe standards are different in UK. Or maybe I'm just expecting too much!
staff are friendly, services are good and prompt. Feels comfy yet trendy.
Rooms need noise dampening as you can easily hear the person in the opposite room if they are loud!
helping people, nice attitude, view toward old city area was nice (big park in front of the hotel) overall 4 out of 5
renovation work currently in progress so can be a bit noisy.. facilities can be improved, such as, spa can be upgraded etc
The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities n attached bathroom. Staff extended all possible assistance n care during the stay. Food was excellent when served in the room or eaten in various restaurants
Nothing as such.
Location of the hotel is good. Given the conditions in the city, security is a must for each and every hotel, Marriott seemed quite serious about it.
Food was not good, The rental car service in the hotel is robbery Not very clean.
The location, security, lunch and dinner buffet are top-quality, employee are very friendly, free-of-charge airport pickup and drop. I arrived Karachi without notifying them in advance and the contact person (hotel driver manager) at the airport send me in a cab to hotel and hotel pay the fee, a nice and responsible guy!
To be frank, the facility is very old, and the WiFi is exremely slow which can be considered as not available. The renovation is going on and inside your room you can smell very strong chemical flavor which is hazourd to your health.
Food- friendly staff- location
Poor wifi signal- your rate is too high for a 3 star hotel.
First - as always: Staff helpful and friendly! Rooms are OK - clean, fresh and spacious! AC very efficient, almost to cold for November! Breakfast was good, plentiful and tasty. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed with serving coffee at the table.
The real downside are the toilette (blocked - room change needed :( !) and bathroom facilities! Shower curtain smelly and moldy! The tabs were old, broken and malfunctioning! The whole bathroom needs a massive overhaul. The brand and a rich breakfast presentation do not make up for an unpleasant bathroom.
Everything in complience with expectations
Sometimes it was noizy and some slight smel of paint from repair work at another floor.
Excellent evening meal
The room was freezing, not much hot water in the morning
Central location. Secure. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Well-kept public areas. Good wi-fi in public areas.
My room smelled musty.
The friendliness of the staff & going all the way to keep you relaxed
Not much of a dinning outlets, quality of the food is fair & not much of a variety to international travelers.
All the staff is good and helpful specially Saira at nadia shop Kind regards
security Good comfort Good
It is far easier to say that there was nothing that I did not like. One of the best places I have stayed in during my travel. Top marks to the management.
Service was good
Rates r very high
security was ok
worst mariott i have ever been; e.g. TV did not work, Telephone interrupted all the time
I always stay in Marriott when visit Karachi because of its location and security. I reached there late and the room was not ready so they upgraded me to Junior Suite :) Staff has always been good.
I think the management has changed and they have already started some cost cutting measures. Toiletries that used to be of excellent quality were replaced by some of the poorest. I have seen better in much cheaper hotels. Breakfast has gone bad as well. Not much variety there as well like before. Also there was no fruit basket which used to be there in the room. So overall the comfort level has gone down.
The service was very warm and the staff were very helpful , excellent service.
