Dirty floor, uncomfortable bed.
Where do I start...having booked on Booking.com for a few years now I was rather dismayed when I saw the state of this supposed 5 star hotel. The bathrooms were filthy and the master en suite smelt of cigarette smoke, this triggered my son's asthma attack on the night. Luckily we had taken the inhalers with us. During breakfast a request for French toast had fallen on deaf ears when other customers who'd ordered french toast after us ended up receiving theirs. Priority was given to Caucasian customers by the waitors at the expenses of Asian (in particular..Pakistani looking individuals).
We only enjoyed the variety in the breakfast and the outside security.
Staff service is very poor. Had to ask several times for delivery. Expect for the relation manager who was very helpful and provided assistances.
Dinner was great. Guest relation manager was helpful.
The They put me in a room next to the generator, which was very noisy ,could not sleep, had other rooms available
Bathroom , Tv channels, park
Room, Environment, Restaurants
The service was pathetic.
May room has noise when I tel him nothing do it .
Very lazy service. I asked for an extra matress and for that I had to remind them thrice and got It after 1 and half hour and without a comforter. The fruit plate was having rotten apple.Washroom commode was uncomfortable to use. Air conditioning was not working (no heating). Room fridge was locked. Cigarette buds were lying under beds.
Vallet service was good. But felt they needed tips. The breakfast was good and staff in the restaurant was helpful. The view from the room window was good.
Cooling shutdown for winter maintainence despite daytime temps of 29C and no fans available Food expensive £20 for 2 rounds of sandwiches and cold coffees £3 for a cup of tea
Staff Security Location
The sides of the toilet seat is narrow
i like the food
Service They even charge for drinking water
AC not work, No taxi in hotel, Generator near room, couldn't sleep. room not clean, bed not clean, staff not good
A security man in-charge at scanner room stop my lady friend who come to meet me as she was wearing modern dress and consider her as escort or something like that. I had to go to the manager and he solved the issue. This is very bad
Excellent thing was breakfast at Marco polo and very warmly received by miss rozina at Marco polo, I think pc should appoint her training manager. Room was ok but road traffic noise.
Wow where do I start... Upon arriving my booking stated a double executive suite sized 47m2. What I got was half the size. After much complaining it took staff a few days to offer me a renovated room same size. Later we found that WiFi wasn't working and then were moved to another room with WiFi but this time ac was giving out cold air (this was in January so it was quite cold outside). At this point I gave up with the rooms. I didn't get what was advertised. Bathroom shower didn't have a non slip mat, slipped and fell on my tail bone which ruined my entire holiday as I wasn't able to sit comfortably after that. Then realising the rooms don't have an iron we had to use the in-house laundry service. Prices were extortionate 700 rupees for one dress and they left it hanging outside the door with no notification. Also I wasn't informed about the free buffet breakfast, I enquired about prices and was only then told it was free. So again missed out for a few days. I was lead to believe that the hotel was the best but it fell below expectation and I would never recommend nor go back to the hotel. Now for the icing on the Cake, I applied for the pc privilege card and registered it with my work address that never was never delivered nor did anyone say anything to me about this during my stay. When I returned back to the uk I was told that someone in the PR/Marketing department in Pearl took it upon themselves to contact the ceo at my place of employment and ask him to congratulate me on my wedding. I was furious about this as I intended to keep that imformatiom private. I intend on suing pc for their intrusion in my personal life. How dare they... Never again will I ever go back, even if it was free. SAQIB LONDON, UK.
The bed was very comfortable and the room in general was clean. No bugs unless you left the balcony door open.
Room too small, the executive lounge a joke with bulbs out! It's really a $50 value. The dining area needs to learn from Lahore PC. There were a bunch of older waiters running around not sure what they were doing.
Location and staff
Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Food average Room service
Rooms were untidy, Dirty & Falsely advertised. Bathrooms were covered in dirt. Avoid this Hotel.
Hotel Transfers & Lobby.
Some of the staff members really need some basic professional and managerial training. Esp those at the reception area and on the phone. ( I think some them forget that its actually the hotel with 4 or more stars and which attracts guests not them as an individual so they better not show attitude. They keep their heads up in the air and didn't seem to be interested in guests matter. Contacting PC and getting in touch with the right persone is a milestone. So they need to improve that. Some of their equipments are poor as well esp the power outlets on the dressing table (if God forbid there is a fire, i woun't be surprised), failed hot water system. Overall not too bad! If they can't improve their service and equipments, they better reduce their price.
Liked the site- close to shops, safety and security management implemented, some dishes such as chicken biryani, bed (quite comfortable), lay out of the executive areas and the coffee shop including staff in there.
There was no heating also no hot water in the shower
lack of western food
cleanliness and security
Restaurant staff un trained with bad unprofessional service.
Lobby nice and clean.
not half as good as PC Lahore. Would highly recommend to stay at Pearl Continental Lahore than Islamabad.
