Located in the centre of Bytom in Upper Silesia, between the market square and Kościuszki Square with Agora Shopping Mall, Apart-Lux offers accommodation in air-conditioned apartments with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. This was well beyond what one would get for a similar price at a hotel. Though advertised as a studio apartment, this was a spacious one bedroom apartment with full living room, large bedroom, kitchenette (hot pot, but no cooking appliances like stove or toaster), and separate 1/2 bath and shower rooms. It was nice to have an apartment, rather than just a room as our home away from home. Additionally, when there was some confusion about our young son traveling with us, the owner went out and bought a crib for him right away. There were some oddities that suggested that the owners may be somewhat new at the hotel business. Two that stand out in my mind are: 1) We were told that there would be internet access during our stay. However, we were unable to connect upon arrival. It took a few days to find out that the router on our floor had been stolen, and it would take yet another few days to have it replaced. As we had been counting on this internet access for some important business, this was a significant and very frustrating inconvenience. Eventually, we found that we could access the internet only sitting outside in the hallway or by our apartment door while the door was open. Hopefully, they soon find a way to guard against the router being stolen again. 2) The second strange thing was that the curtains in the bedroom blocked very little light, if any. To be sure, they gave us privacy, but it was very difficult to sleep past 5:30am, because there was so much light flooding the room. Aside from these issues, I would say that we certainly enjoyed our stay.

Great location in the centre of the city. Apartment is new and well designed, clean and pretty comfortable. Staff helpful and reacting quickly to requests. As for a self contained studio, lack of certain useful essentials like iron and some utensils in the kitchen was a bit of a let down.

Большой просторный номер, удобные кровати, если арендовать авто, то удобно добираться с аэропорта Катовиц, рядом есть все необходимое. Не было плиты и даже микроволновки, отчего смысл кухни сразу пропал, а выбирали енно из-за нее.

Das Apartment war sehr groß, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet - einfach Klasse und lecker- frisch zubereitet, vielseitig und mit Liebe serviert. Das Apartment war sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Ein großes Lob gebührt den Gastgebern und dem Personal für den freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Wir werden mit Sicherheit das Apartment nochmal buchen.

La disponibilité de l'hôtesse. La très bonne qualité générale de l'appartement. La difficulté d'accès en véhicule. Adresse difficile à trouver. Heureusement, l'hôtesse est très vite arrivée. Le plan n'était pas assez détaillé. Il manquait le nom des rues adjacentes.

Fint -modern design. Selv om det finnes ikke resepsjon, så personnale tilgjengelige på telefon i 5 minutter.Stor flat TV med titals av kanaler fra hele verden. Oppvarming - radiator ved veggen, varme kabel i dusj og klimaanlegg i tillegg. Sentral beligenhet, mange restauranet med utrolig bra matt, puber og caffe'r. Dyreste middagg i nærheten: 100 NOK med øl inkludert i pris :-) Offentlig parkeringsplass rett ved døra. Ingen invendinger.

Die Austattung und Einrichtung sind modern und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Zimmer sind groß und verfügen über alle Annehmlichkeiten. Das Frühstück war immer mit frischen, regionalen Zutaten zusammengestellt und hervorragend. Kein bewachter Parkplatz in der Nähe.
