Stretched along the Oder River in southwest Poland, Wroclaw still remains a relatively undiscovered gem. The city’s stunning architecture, its vibrant cultural scene and popular events have something for everyone.
Severely destroyed in 1945, Wroclaw was beautifully restored and became one of the country’s highlights. Its Old Town, with one of the largest town squares in Europe, attracts tourists with colorful townhouses, cozy pubs and street stalls.
Make sure to visit the Ostrow Tumski, known also as the Cathedral Island, featuring the impressive Wroclaw Cathedral from the mid-10th century and romantic cobblestone streets with oil lamps hand-lit every night. Or visit a famous 360-degree view painting of the Battle of Raclawice - the Raclawice Panorama.
For a breath of fresh air, take a walk in the Szczytnicki Park where the famous Japanese Garden, a remainder from the World Expo held in Wroclaw in 1913, awaits you with its contemplative and quiet atmosphere. This is a great spot to relax before hitting the popular bars and clubs in the center of the city.
If you arrive at Wroclaw International Airport, all major attractions are just a short bus ride away. Whether you're looking for a stylish hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly hostel, Booking.com has something perfect for your Wroclaw vacation!

Worclaw is a beautiful city, plenty of sights to see and things to do, english is very common as a second language so language barrier isn't really much of an issue if you don't speak polish. There's plenty of good restaurants around i've visited a couple times now and each time have been to the indian island. There's plenty of history to the place and historic buildings for the history buffs, and the walk along the river odra is gorgeous. The public transport network is excellent and you can get almost anywhere for very cheap.

Wrocław was our second time in Poland, after a trip to Krakow. We were astounded by the Christmas market - which was our main reason for visiting. Although we spent four nights there, there was still so much more to see.
The city is walkable, but also with convenient trams and affordable taxis. Visiting Centrum Historii Zajezdnia was the real highlight of our trip - and just a couple of pounds taxi fare to get there.
The cafe culture was fantastic - we drank a lot of good coffee and played chess (provided by the cafes!)

An amazing city filled with beautiful architecture, amazing cathedrals, thousands of years of history, and very cool people. Try the food, walk everywhere, see everything you can, and re-live the atmosphere of the ages. Wrocław is a MUST-SEE city in Poland.
The high standard of comfort and service would normally gain a hotel more than the three stars awarded to the Herbal. A quality renovation of a much older building. Extremely clean and very well maintained. Set back from main roads and well insulated, it was very quiet. Good bathroom (ours had a walk-in shower) with a hairdryer and a lovely (herbal) shower gel provided (no other toiletries). Just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the Old Town, but with several bars and eateries within an even easier reach.
It's a great hotel for a weekend trip to this amazing town. It's located on the edge of the Old town, one step away from all the sightseeing treasures. The stuff was so kind and we received recommendations regarding restaurants, bars, transportation. Easy to get there from the airport. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and with a variety of options. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to Wroclaw.
Probably the best breakfast I tried in Poland. The only comparable hotel breakfast level is the one of Sheraton in Krakow, where however prices are way higher. Best value for money ever, absolutely advised.
Room service is also efficient, with tasty dishes.
The structure is new and everything looks great, nice environment.
Last but not least, the staff was always kind and with a smile on their faces, which never hurts.
The hotel is located right in the centre of the old town - literally 5 minutes away from the main attractions.
The room was ok, good view to the Cathedral in front, bathroom and toilet were separated. There is an option for adding breakfast but we did not take it.
The price was very good but I believe the reason for that were the renovations works that were taking place in the lobby of the hotel.
This is a newly opened hotel after what must have been a total renovation. The entire hotel shows that here the focus is on quality in every detail, and nothing is worn.
The hotel is a short walk into the center of the old town, and when we were there on the first Advent weekend there was a huge Christmas market.
Great breakfast in the morning, and very good food in the restaurant in the evening.
Amazing hotel in the centre, close to the Old Town. The hotel is very modern and has everything you need in the room. The staff were very helpful and polite. Make sure to check out the seating area on the top floor in good weather to see the city's sights and the relaxing loungers in the spa section.
Highly recommend a lovely Ceres drink at the craft bar brought to you in a perfume bottle 🥰
Nice and clean hotel, situated within walking distance to the railway station (Wroclaw Glowny) and bus line 106 from/to the airport. Close to the old town, easy to reach all historical destinations by feet. Staff was polite and helpful. Great wifi. Basic and clean room with aircon/heating. Kettle and tea/coffee available in the room. I stayed for 3 nights and recommend this hotel.
This was my second time in the Scandic and I was even more impressed the second time round. the breakfast is the best I have experienced in all my travels. It fills you up for the day. the location is super for train travel, bus to the airport, and walking into the old town. Plus right behind the hotel is a thriving social scene. Thinking of going again next year.
Quiet, clean, spacious room, bed very comfy, large bathroom with extremely nice bath, others commented on the lighting arrangement but I liked it, I had a very good nights sleep. Close to Old Town and amenities. Room could do with a bit more personality as perhaps could the hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Did not have breakfast.
We took this hotel to be close from the airport. Middle of nowhere so it was really a nice surprise to find this quality of rooms, spaces, parking available, fantastic breakfast, nice and friendly staff. 5-8 minutes walk from little main street where you can buy food, bakeries. Little farther you will find other bigger stores..
Everything was perfect, I had the best sleep in the comfortable bed, staff were lovely and friendly. highly recommend this hotel, the location is also perfect. The tram is right outside the door or you can walk for 15 minutes to reach the market square. There are also lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Amazing apartment about a 15-minute walk from the old town of Breslau. The owner was really great and wanted to show everything he made of the apartment (which we loved). He put a lot of thought and his heart into decorating and was well beyond the expectations. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the city.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in the city center. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, exceeding our expectations. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces, which added to the positive experience. We anticipated less, but the comfort provided by this hotel was truly great.
This Hotel is exceptional with its Staff service and the Breakfast was second to none. Ease of access to old town and wonderful restaurants nearby. The Hotel has excellent parking and it is very secure. The check in staff was more then helpful and meet all my needs. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
It was our second time here. The first one was good, except for the noise coming from drunk people outside the hotel.(maybe because we were on the second floor) This time we're on the 4th floor so it was quieter. It is close to old town and walking street. There's a Zabka (convenient store) across the street.
So clean, loads of space, quiet, lovely shower, great cooking facilities, microwave was a little high up, had to stand on a chair. But everything else was perfect, just what I needed, very pleased and will definitely stay again when I go back to Poland. Staff at reception were very polite and very helpful.
Very nice and clean hotel, staff are polite too.
The hotel location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to market Square and not far for all the tourist attractions.
A lot of nice restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby too. Is my best choice so far.☺️
Great hotel in very convenient location ,very close to Old Town.Special thanks to Julia in reception for her professionalism and dedication ,for her time and advice.Good underground specious parking. We had very enjoyable stay.
