The staff were probably the most helpful that I have come accross in a long time. Both Ulla and Sylvia went to great lengths to ensure that we made the most of a rainy day in Krakow. Both my wife and I would stay there again.

The street seems a bit distressed but the hotel is excellent and very convenient to the old town and station.

The facilities were clean and well serviced. The location was excellent and within walking distance of everything we needed.

Our room was right beside the railway line and the noise was significant. Additionally, I was charged 80zl for my transfer from the airport which was supposed to be provided as a complimentary service. This was subsequently resolved by hotel staff.

Staff could not do enough to help us - always smiling - receptionists stood up when we walked into the lobby which is a mark of politeness I have rarely seen. The rooms were spotless and furnishings very good quality. We were given loads of advice and nothing was too much trouble. One receptionist even offered us her unberella when it was raining.

Our room did not have air conditioning - which was a dissapointment as the brochure said most rooms have this. There was no price difference so I feel we were paying for something we did not have. A fan was provided but this is not quite the same!

Crossaints or suchlike at breakfast would have been nice. The German/Polish breakfast is catered for - but not so much the British palette.

Exceptional cleanliness everywhere. Pleasant and helpful staff. Adjacent to main town & transport facilities.

Our room was not air conditioned so was hot and noisy at night. However, it was exceptionally hot weather!
