Position, staff, atmosphere
Cold water in the showers on the 3rd floor (maybe due to renovation works? but still, it was quite cold)
Everything ok except the staircase. Hope they renovate it soon. Staff helpful. Kitchen clean and well-equipped. Rooms ok.
Walls to thin. U can hear your neighbours even when they whisper.
opposite the jewish quarter, a very beautiful place to stay and enjoy krakow. everywhere is very clean, rooms are so fresh. very enjoyable common area i could spent my whole day in this hostel instead of going out.
the fact that it was really in krakow. it is the only thing that matches with what is shown on the web. there are day tours to book at the hostel (pickup and dropoff at hostel) which is convenient, but much more expensive than outside.
i suspect that the owner is buying back its empty rooms and writing good reviews for itself. the rooms and shared bathrooms are nothing like what is shown in the pictures. the pictures show modern and new rooms. but turns out its shabby and old. there is NO hot water for shower. wifi is unable to connect. you have to make the bed yourself. bedsheet dirty with coffee stain and blood stain. heater doesnt work. room cold. small kitchen. also walls very thin, can hear other rooms people talking for the whole night. street noisy. i really have no idea why this hostel deserves such high rating. i am not choosy at all and have been living in many hostels but this is by far the worst.
Location Room size Cleanliness Staff Price
The heating in January was now very good. It was a bit cold during the night. I had to sleep with my sweatpants on.
Good and big kitchen with free tea and cofee, milk. Closed door on the floor with password code, very good location near historical centre, clean room, english speaking personal and cute girls on reception)
The room smelled of whiskey, but no so strongly. On the eve it was New Year party I think:)
Fair price; 6 ppl room with own bathroom - just great; close everywhere; extra bed option.
WiFi was not working during all our stay due to some technical issues...
Great location, very friendly stuff, very clean rooms and bathroom, full of young people from all over the world, really great atmosphere. Wouldn't mind coming back.
WiFi was very poor, we don' t know why, bu we couldn't use it almost at all.
Great location in between the old Jewish quarter and the historic city center. The common area and kitchen were very comfortable and large enough that I never felt crowded.
The walls were very thin and the security lock for our section of the hostel didn't function.
- good location
- hot water stopped while taking a shower - no elevators - code for the lock to each floor is wrong on the given paper slip - only 1-2 toilets and showers per entire floor - someone were smoking in the rooms but they should not allowed to - kitchen was somewhat untidy and the fuse was broken - staff was a bit unhelpful towards inquiries about sightseeing
Very good location, very clean, great atmosphere.
Kitchen with many equipments besides free coffee and tea is great. Common room is a very friendly place where you can meet new friends. Location is very close to Jewish Quarter and Old Town but 25 minutes to main train station by walk.
Wifi strength is very poor at my room.
Cheap, good room and view
Plugs at every bed and very spacious rooms. Close walk to all the major attractions. Kitchen had tea and coffee for everyone to use which was nice.
Staff wasn't the most helpful. They threw out our food in the fridge, despite that it had our name and date of check out on it and when we asked them they said it wasn't their problem, which upset us both. Common kitchen was a bit dirty, as was the common room.
I liked personal, rooms were nice and comfortable.
The WiFi was horrible. I coud use it just for a few minutes before it was gone. I don't undarstand toilets and showers with windows on the doors, because it's uncomfortable to be there wher others can see you.
The staff, the bed, the kitchen (coffe, milk, cereal, tea etc. available all day), the common room, 24h reception, staff is very kind and helpfull, they let me stay there until I left from the airport ant late night, after my check out at 10AM
Can be a bit noisy sometimes, no wifi on the rooms
Staff was very helpful and friendly, Natalia, for example, was always willing to help. Facilities are well kept. Location is good, close to the old centre and to kazimierz (the nightlife district)
Hey guys, do something with wifi!!!!
How central was the hostel, we went by walking everywhere. It's also cheap and clean
Some of the staff were not really nice. They were helping us, however the attitude of some of us were not comfortable.
bathrooms were clean, nice kitchen, luggage room available, bedroom was OK, price was excellent.
Wi-fi stopped working several times a day, halls and stairs are in really bad shape, one member of the staff was quite rude when we asked them to fix the wi-fi.
Good location Room is as described in the photos
You can hear people talking in the room next to yours Corridors are old and need a renovation
All is on the high level. Hostel that really cares about its reputation.
Staff were friendly.
No internet in the 10 bed dorm No hot water for shower at any time of day. No heating Checkout at 10am is too early Annoying door codes on every door. Location was not good. Very bad value for money Not a homely place, feels like a prison
One of the coolest common room I've ever seen, really cozy place to chill out and make new friends in the hostel after visiting the city. Good location, it takes about 5 min walking to get to the city centre. Spacious room, personal lockers and sockets for each guest.
Quick walk to the Jewish district. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi works perfectly. Communal kitchen fairly well equipped + free tea/coffee and cornflakes! Many showers and toilets, all clean and very modern. Lots of nice eateries nearby.
Clean bathroom and toilets I must say.
Squeaky floors especially at night, if u are a light sleeper you may not like it. The WIFI is super weak. The hotwater in the bathroom shower doesn't run continuously, you have to switch off and switch on the tap continuously.
