Everything was fine, the location was very convenient to the city centre and restaurants. Very good quality of food products for breakfast.
Only cold food available for breakfast (flakes, sandwiches, boiled eggs). Something hot (scrambled eggs or porridge) would have been much appreciated.
Everyhing was great..location, greeting, checkin without formality, clever and nice personnel, decoration of the rooms, warm atmosphere of the rooms, etc, etc..
Nothing to mention..
good location, friendly and kind staff
Excellent location, friendly staff, very nice breakfast and interesting guests.
Location, decor, breakfast, staff!
Heating not good enogh for -10 C degrees outside.
- Great location - Good breakfast - Friendly staff - Beautiful room, super charming :) - Clean - Comfortable bed, not too soft and not too firm
Really, there isn't much to complain about. - The receptionist was on the move helping guests so she was a bit hard to get hold of every now and then. - We only got one key card for the door. Two would have been nice.
Staff very helpful
The location was very good and the general atmosphere - pleasant. The size of the room and the bathroom was bigger that expected. The room we had was equipped with a kitchen which was useful. We only made some tea and coffee. Unfortunately and rather bizarrely tea and coffee spoons were missing...
Although the breakfast room and the breafast were both nice, I didn't enjoy the big table at which all guests were asked to sit. There was no room for privacy and frankly impossible to hold a conversation without having to interact with people we didn't know. It is really rather awkward and uncomfortable to be sitted in front of a complete stranger at breakfast. I am sure there is some other way of arranging the breakfast sitting plan for the guests of individual rooms in order to give some privacy while still utilising the big table which I suppose is aimed at creating a sense of community.
Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Huge room which was warm given the freezing temperatures outside.
Can't think of anything - it was all very good and excellent value for money
Good internet connection
One big table for all guest to sit at during breakast
The staff are all very lovely here, and helpful. It's decorated with cute furniture, and has a classy, cosy feel. We loved the communal breakfast, especially the beetroot chutney. The crib and blankets supplied for our baby were wonderful.
Confusing to find reception - you have to go to the Chopin suites place. Lifts were very small, and you have to go up stairs to get to the lift (this is common through Poland). Two windows in the room did not have curtains. Couldn't get the heaters going hot enough to warm the room as much as we'd have liked (we weren't freezing, it just was a tad chilly.
Travel to watch a football match, hotel was right in the centre of town. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by and ideally located for the stadium
The staff was very professional and accommodating .Their English-language skills were excellent. It's on a quiet street with a short walk to dining and shops. Small and intimate. Old World charm.
The tiny lift. The plumbing problems not uncommon to old buildings. Some construction noise - that lasted longer than they said, but stopped by 19:30 pm.
Hotel cute, little, small bedroom, comfortable beds, small bathrooms, clean rooms. The hotel is very well located in downtown, nearby public parking is charged between 08.00 - 18.00. Breakfast good. Friendly staff. In the room have you tea and coffee.
Location is good. staff is friendly. room is big.
wifi is slow.
We were given a nice little apartment style room instead of standard double. Although we never used the kitchen facilities they were available. It was on the courtyard and very quiet. Good breakfast every morning Attended the Chopin Salon on the premises two nights and enjoyed it greatly. Quality musicians for a good price.
Unfortunately our bed was built-in and very high. As we are an older couple we had a hard time getting in and out of bed. I had to crawl across the bed to get to the other side. Also. the bathroom was the tiniest ever, with the shower open to the bathroom floor. There's an "award" on the wall stating it's the "smallest bathroom in Europe"
Wonderful breakfast with poppyseed breads and great coffee. Clean with travelers slippers.
our plane was 24hours late so we only had one night stay.
Almost everything. Great central location near the train station and the U.S. embassy where we needed to go. Breakfast was good and staff is very helpful.
Stairs. Too many and difficult with small baby.
I liked the location the good taste everything w fine
I did not like to stay at second building and all th e doors I had to ope
location Chopin concert onsite
Bedding a poor quality and did not fit bed properly. Room not appropriately furnished for travellers (no shelves on which toplace toiletries in bathroom, no bench on which to place suitcase)
-perfect location, helpful stuff, lovely breakfast atmosphere and cozy little rooms. Would certainly stay there again, if back in Warsaw
Everything about the B&B was wonderful. All the staff, the fabulous breakfasts with great conversations...and The Chopin Salon with lovely recital was the icing on the cake. I would certainly recommend Jarek's establishment to anyone going to Warsaw.
Really there was not anything we didn't like.
The location is excellent - within walking distance of main attractions, and airport bus. Friendly and with an individual decor. Fine breakfast, and rapid (free) internet. There are even piano recitals every evening!
MINOR thing only: lack of sockets in the room...that's all, really :)
We stayed here in 2005 and loved it! We booked 4 nights again for this trip and ran into some problems. The location is good and the staff friendly. The group table at breakfast is nice as you get to talk to others about travel. However...
We booked a superior room which we chose from the photos and description on the website. We were charged for the superior room at time of booking several months ahead. When we arrived, we were shocked at the room we were given. It looked like a very poorly furnished college dormitory room! I thought I had made a mistake and checked my Booking.com reservation that night. The superior room was correct. When we talked to the staff the next day, we were told that the change in the room was because I had asked for a different bed size due to my husband's back problem. However, when we noted that we had been charged full price for the superior, the staff said she would look into it. We were told on day 3 of our stay that they would move us to another room or they would refund the difference so that we only paid for the inferior room. So, it was settled, but we were most unhappy at how it was handled in the first place. The owner did come to apologize, but the whole ordeal left us feeling quite unsatisfied. Had we not complained, we would have still paid full superior price for a very inferior room.
