Kind and helpfull staff.
During weekend it was nearly impossible to sleep, because there was terrible noise on the street until 4 am.
A great location. The staff were o so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble from arranging trips to an earlier breakfast on our last day
the location and the staff
the breakfast could be improved
The staff at the front desk were just so helpful &kind-Andrew was awesome & the girl was great also! The Dj and the girl bartender was fantastic as well
I loved location, close to old town. Good size rooms. Delicious breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff.
Just because I packed too much luggage I found it hard carrying it up stairs... Elevators are always convenient:) but again I over packed :/
Location was excellent. 2 minutes walk to the main market square with excellent restaurants and local market stalls. The hotel receptionists were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble
I was travelling with a friend with limited mobility and it was a nightmare. On the booking website there was no mention of the very steep and very dark staircases with no handrails down to the breakfast basement. My friend fell down these stairs on our last day bruising her back terribly. The breakfast was poor unless you like boiled sausage and pre-packed croissants! The windows in our rooms looked out onto internal staircases so there was little privacy and no natural light. Thank goodness we were only there for two nights!
The convenient location near the market square and dozens of great restaurants. Amazing staff who were eager to help in anyway. We had a great time at Camea and we wouldn't think twice about returning.
Climbing up the stairs to room #11 was slightly taxing but the staff helped us with our bags which was great. The breakfast is anemic. Cold foods with the exception of some scrambled eggs and toast. The breakfast did not match up to the rest of the Hotel.
I liked how central it was to everything
The beds were not very comfortable
I was my second stay in this hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of the Old Town (Stare Miasto), less than 5 min from the Main Square (Rynek) and the Wawel castle. A 15 min walk will get you to the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz), a trip well worth taking. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. My room had all the necessary amenities and was very clean and well maintained. Free wi-fi worked flawlessly. The breakfast, served in the old cellar in the same building, while not lavish, had all the basic breakfast stuff. On my departure morning (4:30 AM) my taxi arranged through the hotel was on time. Also, the front office had a take-out breakfast box for me with a sandwich, yoghurt, apple and water; a very nice touch.
While not a problem for me, the fact that there are no elevators may inconvenience some older, or physically challenged guests.
-czysto / room and bathroom were clean - lokalizacja / great localization - cena / price - całkiem dobre śniadanie, z dużym wyborem / quite tasty breakfast with a variety of foods to choose form
- mało miejsca podczas śniadania / small place where breakfast was served - nie posłuchali prośby co do rodzaju łóżek / didn't fulfilled my request
Location excellent, Staff were excellent, Whiskey bar was good fun, the room was clean and overall the room was good value. Our room was at the rear of the building so no noise late at night. We were given clean towels every now and again, and someone gave it a quick once over for our return at the end of the day,,,
I had the pull-out settee bed which was woefully inadequate and extemely uncomfortable, have returned home with a stiff back, will return to the hotel but will not accept the pullout as a bed again. you guys need to rethink those shakey handrails going up to the top floor on steep slippy steps, those are accidents waiting to happen.
Great location - right off the market square Great staff - they all spoke English (shame on us for not knowing any Polish!) - and were very very helpful. Nice simple breakfast Excellent value for money Quirky furniture Air conditioning was a plus
Wow! What a fantastic location! Perfectly situated a in the heart of the city. I visited Krakow with my two teenage daughters and stayed in this hotel for seven nights. The hotel emailed me prior to my arrival to enquire if I wanted to arrange airport transfers and excursions to the Salt Mines and Auschwitz. Friendly, polite, welcoming staff. Spacious room with quaint furniture. Excellent value for money and the Polish karaoke in the cellar bar was fun too (especially after a shot or two of vodka)!
Nothing really..... The stairs to our room on the top floor were tiring sometimes, (but then a lift would spoil the traditional feel and ambience of the place).
Bang in the center of Old City with brief walk to Wawel. Even though it is very well furnished, building takes you on a trip in time.
Location Comfort Secure location Helpful Staff
very fast and stable wifi connection nice and large room
breakfast could be served earlier
Outstanding facility. Small hotel, nice breakfast, outstanding staff services. Best it the location in Krakow - about half-way between the Castle and the Main Square. Could not be better.
Courteous staff and position is perfect
Not enough places to hang towels etc in bathroom. Housekeeping did not lock our door one day
Very friendly service
internet could work better and breakfast was mediocre
Location, Breakfast, staff
Excellent location. Big, well equipped and clean room with modern bathroom. Atmosphere and great and friendly staff.
Air-conditioning did not work, but it did not matter that much, as the temperature outside was not too hot.
Fine room, breakfast was ok, well organized trips to Auschwitz and saltmine. Extra early breakfest in bags at the morning for leaving to airport.
Wi-fi didn´t work well all the time.
The staff at Camea was extremely helpful. Very quaint establishment, the bathrooms are modern, the floors are hardwood and the rooms in general are very cozy. Breakfast is down in the basement area and is substantial. Wifi was consistent. The location is a two minute walk from the main square and within walking distance from many historical sites.
We arrived in town late (after dark) and it was difficult to find the location as it's located on the square. The parking is off site as it advertises. It's an easy walk to the parking area, be sure to unload your luggage prior to parking otherwise you'll have to tote your luggage through town.
The location is terrific.
The bed was horrid! It was two old mattresses pushed together. They were so old that the springs and other metal parts were poking through. The staff promised to replace the mattresses after our first night but had excuses the next two nights. The Duvet was used to cover the mattress and my husband and I huddled together under the second Duvet trying to sleep on the lumpy and hard pillows. I would not recommend this hotel at any price but at 91 Euros per person it was ridiculous. The Breakfast was far below standard. The breads were white and light tan out of a package, small portions of scrambled eggs were placed on the Buffet infrequently and a few slices of unappealing cheese and meat. All in all...very little food and not of good quality. Stay at another hotel until the improve or close! They did give us a refund for one nights stay...little consolation for our discomfort.
