The hostel’s knowledgeable staff are able to provide advice and information about what to see and where to go in Krakow. Staff can provide recommendations for cultural, culinary and entertainment attractions and help to organize excursions to museums.
The hostel has a club room, a vending machine for drinks, a luggage room, a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There is also a fully equipped kitchen available for guests’ use.

There is a range of accommodation types in the City Hostel, from double private rooms to 11 people rooms and bright dorms, with a total of 80 beds.

Area information

The hostel is just 100 meters from the main railway station and only a 3-minute walk from the Old Market Square. With an unbeatable location in the center of the city, the hostel is ideally placed for discovering all that Krakow has to offer. Planty Park is just 30 meters away and a short stroll through the park takes you to Old Town. Krakow’s gallery is just 100 meters from the hostel and bars and restaurants are all around.

Various clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants are all within your grasp. You can also relax in Planty Park after a day of visiting the nearby museums, historical monuments and exhibitions.

The well-informed and friendly staff are ready to help you in planning your city tours and trips outside of Krakow, such as to Wieliczka Salt Mine, Auschwitz concentration camp or to Zakopane. You will receive tourist and travel information at reception.

Travel information

The City Hostel Kraków is only a 2 minute walk from the train station and 3 minutes from the Old Market Square.

From the main railway station:
- Cross Basztowa Street and enter Sw. Krzyza Street, where you will find the City Hostel.

From the airport, take the direct train to the main railway station and follow the instructions above.

A taxi from the airport will take you longer than a train, and should not cost more than PLN 60 to 70 (EUR 18). The hotel can arrange a cab for you.
