Hotel Columbus

Hyvä aamiainen,erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta,hyvin organisoitu matka Auschwitziin keskitysleirille.Palvelu erittäin hyvä ja toimiva,kuten kuljetukset lentokentälle ja takaisin. Hintansa väärti.

Kadun puolen huoneessa liikenteen melu päivällä ja illalla,voi häiritä jotakuta,mutta se rauhoittuu yön ajaksi. Minua ei häirinnyt.

Erinomainen sijainti. Hyvä aamiainen.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja ystävällistä.

Huoneet olivat siistit. Aamiais-buffet oli hyvä. Henkilökunta erittäin palvelualtista. Retkijärjestely Auschwitciin sujui erinomaisesti ja edullisesti.

Rooms beside road are noisy, because of traffic. Try to book room beside courtyard.

The value for money was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were decent sized, sparkling clean, the bathrooms were spotless. Every amenity was modern. The breakfast was a proper spread; not like the rubbish you get in Western Europe. It really is worth staying in this place just for the value for money. The staff were knowledgable. Provided me with good information on where to go, restaurants to eat it - which were great, in the old Jewish area where we even got 2 glasses of wine gratis by displaying the card.... brilliant!

It is a 15min walk from the main market square. I dont have a problem with that, but older folk might. The area is decent and safe.

We stayed at the Columbus Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable as well. There are little extras that you would not expect in a small hotel with a budget rate - mints on the pillows, free bottled water every day...even a heating rack for the towels in the bathroom! The free morning breakfast was extremely good and provided so many choices that I did not eat the same meal twice. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed, booking trips outside of Krakowk, etc. They spoke English perfectly and jumped at the chance to help us with anything.

A few more English speak television channels if possible

The staff were superb and helped me book trips to Austwich and the Salt Mines. They even took the trouble to walk me to the pick up point so i wouldnt get lost! The breakfast was also much better than in lots of other european hotels I have stayed. This is definitely a very good 3 star hotel and I would recommend!

Its a pity they didnt serve dinner there as the breakfast area was quite nice. Though there are lots of really nice restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away so it was not a problem

Charming staff. Good breakfast, good location

The staff was very helpful and made arrangements for my visit to Auschwitz, salt mine, etc. Most spoke very good English and they allowed me to check in around 9am as I was tired from an overnight train trip from Budapest.

Room and breakfast were both excellent. The hotel is within a walking distance to the Stare Miasto but not exactly close to it. On the other hand its location in the ancient jewish district near to a very pleasant square (Szeroka) with good cafes and restaurants is quite interesting.

The friendly, helpful reception from all hotel staff. The well decorated and cleanliness throughout the hotel. The fortunate location for walking distances and the availability of local transport.

If anything; no coffee facilities in the room and the noisy traffic sounds from the main road (but understand this unavoidable)
