オシフェンチウムは人口5万人の街です。当館はオシフェンチウムヴァレーの南のVistula川に続くSola河口のところにございます。第２次世界大戦勃発後の1940～1945年の間、アウシュヴィッツはヒットラーが支配するドイツの傘下に入りました。ポーランドで最も大きな強制収容所が、KLアウシュビッツ-ビルケナウです。ここには、アウシュビッツⅠ、アウシュビッツⅡ- ビルケナウ、アウシュビッツⅢ- モノウィッツ、そして、40ほどの小さめの収容施設が立ち並んでいたのです。本来は、ポーランド人、ロシア人、ジプシーなどの捕虜収容所でした。1942年以降、この地は歴史に残るヨーロッパのユダヤ人大量虐殺の地と化したのです。アウシュビッツへ強制収容されたあと、囚人達はビルケナウのガス室へと送られていきました。そして、死体は焼却されたのです。
ヴィエリチカ
ヴィエリチカ は、１２９０年にPrzemyslaw王によって築かれたクラクフの近くの小さな町です。ヨーロッパでは塩産業の地としてその名を馳せています。ヴィエリチカ岩塩採掘場は地下300kmほどの地下通路にあり、その深さは9層にも及びます。一部がギャラリーやミュージアムとして一般の観光客の為に開放されており、地下廊や荘厳な礼拝堂、中世の道具や塩で造られた彫刻や壁画などを見ることができます。ヴィエリチカ岩塩採掘場は国定記念物であり、また、ユネスコの世界遺産にも指定されました。
ザコパネ
ザコパネは、タトラ博物館やグバウフカ山に囲まれたPodtatrzanski Gullyに位置する人口３万人の街で、標高838mのところにございます。 ザコパネが観光スポットとして脚光を浴びる前は、鉄鉱業及び鉄加工業産業の中心地として知られておりました。19世紀から20世紀にかけてザコパネは観光スポットとして人気を集め出したのです。
チェンストホヴァ
チャンストホバは。ポーランドで最も名誉ある地であり、巡礼者達の世界で最も重要な地として知られております。Jasna Goraは、まさにチェンストホバの聖地です。クラクフから車で90分ほどのところに位置している産業都市で、600年もの間ヨーロッパの宗教的中心地でとしてその名を馳せております。毎年、数百万人の巡礼者達がこの街を訪れています。忠実な信者達は長い間、聖家族の家のテーブルの上に書かれたイコンを聖ルカが書いたものとして信仰していました。彼らは、500年以上もの間、この地を聖地として何度も祈りを捧げに訪れていたのです。

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was great. They even let us enter the room at 7a.m. and also have breakfast!! The room quiet, with fluffy bathcoats and towels, plenty toilet articles from occitane and a comfortable doublebed . Cleaning service twice a day with change of towels also.The hotel is small but gorgeous, right in the city center, 5 min walk from the main square, in the most beautiful street in our opinion. The buffet breakfast was very good, the small pool with sauna were lovely and not overcrowded. We would go there again if we would visit Krakow again |

we got upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and had a wonderful bathroom....fluffy bathcoats and towels.nice toiletarticles from occitane.everything there to make you feel good. lovely pool and sauna......breakfast good quality products.....we enjoyed staying there. |

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was great, the room quiet and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is small but gorgeous, it lies right in the city center in a quiet street. The restaurant was great, the buffet breakfast was a dream. The small pool with sauna and steam room were lovely and luckily it was not ovvercrowded. We would go there again if we would visit Krakow again. |

Nice hotel, good staff, but the first we have been offered was like a hall, but we changed it to a new one. the fact that some rooms don't have windows that open on the outside, but on the inside of the hotel. |

A fantastic experience. Full of character, tastefully designed. Friendly helpful staff. Large comfortable rooms and a nice pool and sauna area. If the hotel is full then the pool may get overcrowded! |

very friendly and helpful staff, in a great position for enjoying the city, quiet at night, nice pool. didn't like the room windows opening into the inside of the building, having to use the aircon all the time gave the room a very dry atmosphere also it was very dark in our room, would request an outside room in future. |

Hotel w sercu Starego Miasta, przy samym Wzgórzu Wawelskim, a jednocześnie na tyle z boku, by zapewnić ciszę i spokój. Fantastycznie odrestaurowana stara kamienica, podobnie pokoje i patio. Dyskretna obsługa. W pokoju olbrzymie łóżko. W podziemiach mały basen i sauna czynne 24h, dające dużo radości po ciężkim dniu. Na dachu taras z niesamowitym widokiem na Wawel i kościelne wieże Starego Miasta. I można by tak w zachwytach jeszcze długo się rozpływać... Fantastyczny miejsce na romantyczny wypad we dwoje :-) |
