Shortage of rooms avalable on B.COM
wi fi connection didnt work. the guy at the desk was helpful giving me an ethernet cable to connect it directly to my laptop.
one of the guy didnt speak english at all so it was really difficult to communicate about basic stuff when i had to check out.
Although the room itself is very basic, they are well kept and very clean. Shared shower was also nice with a hot water. Staffs are friendly and kind. I stayed two nights in a room (306) with three beds by myself. This is the best place for those who needs privacy but with the limited budget.
As name suggest, Most of guests seems to be students, mainly Polish and Ukrainian. Some were talking loudly in the evening. But that is their problems, not the Dom itself.
Perfect location,nice staff,price
Only problem are bunch of exchange students from Ukraine/Russia?Which have strange behavior to stay not in their rooms only on the hallways till late nights, looks like their best past time is liing on hallway floor and drinking and smoking. No reaction from the staff
Rooms for 3 people were spacious The area was c
No common room for meeting other travellers
The room was good, clean and the stuff was kind. About 30 minutes to the city center on foot but it's OK I think also that this hostel is good too for families, when i get maried i will visite krakow and stay with my wife in this hostel :D
Excellent location in a very centre of Kazimierz close to the river.
Permanent noise of air conditioning system or something like that located on the roof.
DS Zaulek is a student-house insuring hotel facilities during holiday. it is located in the very heart of Kazimierz district, close to the former town hall of this quartier and to Vistula river. It is 10 minutes of tourist walk to the Wawel castle and quarter an hour to the city center. There are a lot of churches, synagogues and museums nearby, and also good and various restaurants and bars, so one could spend a hole day just looking around. It is very cheap (17,5 euros/night/single room) and, if you are not picky, it would be a perfect location to sleep and wash. The personnel is very helpful, most part being students. I'm gonna definitely stay there the next time i'll go to Krakow.
My room was a bit dusty, but maybe because it wasn't used during holiday. Anyway, you could ask a cleaning lady to clean up the room. Also, since the school is starting in 1st September, it could be a bit noisy at night - the student are partying. But in August it was very quiet. Wifi signal was very poor This are only details that didn't affect my beautiful trip to Krakow.
Cheap, nice bar/restaurant, nice people, quiet, good location.
location. Faccilites Friendly staff
close to the city centre quiet location clean good price-quality ratio
wi-fi did not work
Very cheap (£9/night) Good location near central square Spacious room with fridge :) Wifi :)
Staff were un-professional Noisy drunks outside entrance evenings Quite difficult to find without GPS Very creaky beds - I had triple room and all 3 beds were like this Beds also quite uncomfortable
huge room - 3 beds all to myself :) great price. Clean bathrooms and kitchens. short walk to old town area, close to tram stops
wifi was slow
Price. Price. Price. I liked that there was a sink in each room (even though the toilet and shower were down the hall.) I liked that I could get my own room, even though each room has 15 beds. The hotel was also clean and well-run. Be sure to check out the attached restaurant. A large, excellent plate of perogi cost less than what most Americans pay for a Coke in a restaurant!
I couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on in the shower. (Of course, I solved that problem by simply asking.) This hotel is in a nice area; but, it is on the other side of the Rynek from the train station. This makes for a long walk to drop off bags upon arrival, or retrieving bags at the end of the day before catching a train.
- very good location 5-10 min walk to Wawel - rooms are clean - furniture (tables, chairs, wardrobe) - restaurant (ala Bar Mleczny) is available at the ground floor - internal parking area - quite large rooms
- sheets and pillow cases do not fit to beddings, pilows and beds itself - shared bathrooms are not very clean - parking area is small and narrow, it is difficult to maneuver there - avoid rooms close to shared bathrooms, shower makes a lot of noise if someone washes at night
Great accomadation at a good price, would recommend to anyone.
The price was really good, staff was helpful. Location was OK, 10-15 minutes walk to main square and a few minutes walk to the riverside
The rooms could be cleaner
Location (quiet part of Kazimierz, river side, Wawel view) Parking
- the price (value for money) - next to the old city, wawel castle and judish community (10' on foot for each destination) -quiet place
Location, price, rooms
Bedroom was comfy and fairly clean
Bathroom is dirty! The floors are not totally clean, the floor near the wall at the side of my bed is dusty
great room, very clean, comfortable ,the personal was very nice and friendly, you really have value for your money!!!
Good location, in the very heart of Kazimierz area. Not a bad service for this really low price.
Excellent price, central location within close walking distance of Kazimirz, with bars & restaurants. Friendly and helpful young english speaking staff. Clean and functional room with nice shower room (large cublcle) and LOVELY cotton sheets & pillowcases. Also parking place, although at extra cost.
Obviously a double bed is better than a single - but as this is a student residence would that be fair to ask for? Of course not, so nothing negative at all!
