The city is a thousand years old and, as well as its history and beautiful architecture, it has many museums and art galleries, illuminating the city’s culture and history. The city has countless monuments, mostly located in the Old Town, but also in the suburbs. The most beautiful and popular streets of Gdansk are Long Street and The Long Market. These streets are often busy and are a thriving, vibrant hub of activity, full of locals as well as tourists. Here you can find the famous Neptune Fountain - the symbol of Gdansk, The Artus Court and the Main City Hall - the former seat of the Gdansk authorities. Long Street and The Long Market are the ideal place to begin sightseeing in Gdansk, admiring the Old Town and its surrounding streets. Do not miss St. Mary's Street, which leads from St. Mary's Church to the medieval St. Mary's Gate. The street is one of Gdansk’s real gems.
Crane over the Motlawa River (0.8 km) - The crane once played a dual role as a port crane and as Gdansk’s city gate. It has been in its present form since 1442-1444. The machinery of the crane is driven by a huge wooden wheel inside it, which was powered by men walking on it, like a giant hamster wheel. The crane was not only used to unload and reload cargo, it was also used to put up ships’ masts.

Found hotel to be extremely clean, comfortable and very quiet, staff were polite and friendly. Hotel looked impressive found the outside. Hotel was slightly out of the way of the main town facilities |

fair location. 10 to 15 minutes walk from old town. Have to take tram or taxi from main station. Hotels in Gdansk are generally more expensive than those in the south. Rooms are clean and the staff are good. |

Newly renovated and well maintained building in good location for Gdansk tourism. Helpful staff who speak english. Nice breakfast buffet open till 11am. Good WIFI connection. Ordered 2 double rooms, were given 2 twin rooms |

location - room - breakfast - staff Would have been nice to have more tea bags/coffee in room, but that is only 'nit-picking'. Excellent good value for money accommodation. |

Explored the city & my daughter was performing in the Shakespeare festival & the venue happend to be very close to the hotel. Excellent breakfast - enjoyed my stay very much hope to go there again. Very good location for going into the city. Staff very helpful. |

The staff were verry helpful and frieldly.The room was verry clean and the bed was more than comfortable,I,d recoment this hotel to anybody if they can find it. Found it had to find,but probaley more my fault than the hotels |

The breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect for Gdansk centre. The fact that we had to stay in a 'twin room' as a 'double room' is not made clear on the website when booking. |

The rooms were light and airy. It looked as though it had been recently renovated. It was close to the centre and no major roads to cross to get into it. Gdansk is a good place to walk around. Despite double glazing, there was some traffic noise as the hotel is close to a main road. |

The room and bathroom were clean, the breakfast was ample, and the staff was very pleasant. My husband and I were assigned a room with separate beds against opposite walls. I thought that booking a double for two people implied that we wanted to sleep together. |

The hotel is in a good location in the city centre. I am not really very keen on single rooms in many European hotels, they tend to be small and feel quite claustrophobic if you are staying for more than one night. My room was facing the ring road, and was thus very noisy. Ask for a quiet room away from the road if you are staying there. |

The people working in the hotel were very friendly. The restaurant is good. The rooms are also very quite (big walls). As you go to the city, you pass the quarters of the musicians (= separate building) and you can hear the music... really nice. There is also a supermarket just down the road. |

Breakfast was good, staff was helpfull, there was internet, tea and coffee in our room, elevator, the hotel had a nice style. The location of the hotel, the room had the table in the middle and the beds were very far off from each other. |

Breakfast, staff and the size of our delux room. And really good beds. There was a loud band playing outside our window around saturday at 17 o'clock when we tryed to rest after a long day shopping. Really, really irritating. We had hoped for a fews hours sleep before saturday night out. This noisy band ruined that plan. |
