- good location: Kazimierz district just round the corner, Old Town 10m walk - very clean and freshly renovated bathroom - well equipped and clean kitchen that you can use - coffe and tee for free - internet connection working fine
- just one very small towel per guest
Nice helpful staff, excellent location. Excellent value for money.
Parking a bit difficult but acceptable.
Such a welcoming staff with useful informations, good knowlegend of the city. they made our staying really comfortable; for example one of the receptionist girl gave me some coins to pay for parking at the very first moment... Ect!!thanks again!
Poor sound insulation
very clean room and bathroom, kitchen as well. Tea and coffee available in the kitchen for free, very nice place and staff.
Don't worry about the entrance! Even if it don't look very good, this hostel is clean and comfortable. Boys and girls that work here are kind and hospitable. Dream Hostel is between the old town and the ghetto, that is a young district full of cool locals, so it's easy to go around just walking.
Very good location, nice and helpfull staff. Very nice and good room. I got room which windows are in backyard so there wasn't any noise. And very propotion of price, location and quality.
There wasn't soap in the room.
It is in the middle of the city
It was close to the Wavel, the inner city and Kazimiersk
Clean and modern interiors. Good kitchen. Everything was nice, and even though we arrived late in the evening the receptionist was waiting for us. I can definitely recommend this hostel!
The kitchen was just great. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. Also, it is true that this hostel is really very quiet. Guests can enjoy free tea and coffee.
Our room was facing the street and the trams disturbed our sleep.
Nice place to stay a couple of nights while staying in Krakow. Close to public transport and city centre.
Water in shower was never warm
Hostel recepcionist was very helpfull and always smiling :)
Lovly place white excellent position
The personnel is great. The hostel is clean and well located.
Very nice (inside), recently renovated (inside), well organized hostel. Second floor (no lift), 5 rooms total so no overcrowd is possible. We got thew 4 double rooms for 5 nights: little, perfectly clean, basic forniture, very nice little bathrooms with nice showerbox. Also the double room with external private bathroom was ok. The bathroom was 2 step outside the room door. Perfect free wifi. Little and basic common area with kitchen, tv, sofa, dining table and little balcony....nothing is missing. Very, very, helpfull staff also to plan and to book tours, shuttles or taxi. Perfect location: 5 min fomr pubs and restourants, 10 minutes walking to the castle, 15 min walking to mainsquare.
Outside the building is ugly but...don't be scared...inside it is a different world. ;) Beds are not the most confortable for heavy persons. Thin mattres. Reseption close at 23.00 (but u got your own key so...) No blinds at the windows, curtains only, so a lot of light comes in the room in the morning....bring with you sleep masks highly recommended!
The hostel is in a strategic position. In front of several lines of public transp, 5 min walking from Wlawel castel, 15 min walking from main square. Friendly and helpful staff. They helped us to book tours, shuttle, taxi and they gave us a lot of other informations. AAAA+++ to the staff. All the hostel has been recently renovated, the common area is litle but it has all u need. Very little and simple room, perfectly clean, no a silngle grain of dust on the shelf neither (I've checked ;) ), windows are double glass so the room was quiete. Nice bathroom with cozy shower box.
The building is ugly....but who cares if inside the hostel is nice??? Not a problem for me but the hostel is at 2° floor with no lift. The curtains in the room did not prevent light from entering. Bed slats and mattress weren't so cozy...I'm heavy and I couldn't sleep on it. The staff gave me an extra mattress....but still I think they have to change something. Sometimes a bad smell comes from the drains in the bathroom, closing the bathroom door solve the problem. No proper wardrobe. I had to keep my clotes in my luggages.
-friendly staff -well equipped kitchen -everything was clean -the building is old and the stairway may look a bit discouraging, but the hostel itself is very pleasant; furniture is simple, but modern and new -good location (close to the Old Town)
-the shower was getting cold pretty quickly -a bit small towels
Noiose by piggions in the night and too sun light early in the morning, bed not so good
The location is very good, rooms are clean, bathroom is ok.
I would recommend this hostel to people that do not care at all about the accommodation during their vacation. The rooms are very tiny and you can hear really everything - not from the street but from your neighbors. This is very unpleasant. The building itself is very ugly, the interior of the hostel is very ugly as well. I travel a lot and I don´t care about the accommodation too much but I must say that I was quite disappointed by this hostel and do not understand how it is possible that it has such high rating.
We arrived early after a transatlantic flight and were able to check in and nap. The room is simple, very clean with good beds. A kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans and with free coffee and tea is also available, incl. tables and chairs for eating there. The tram stop is close by, but the medieval parts of town are easily reachable on foot within 15 minutes.
Need keys to get into the building, No 24 hour check-in. No room darkening shades/curtains.
staff was very friendly, they let us check in early. The bulding is authentic and atmospheric and has a lot of the original construction preserved such as wooden staircases. There is free coffee and tea available and a complete kitchen and balcony at your disposal
The room was very clean but there was a strange smell
separate mattresses on double bed. It was really annoying!
I would say, that location is a great advantage of this place. It took us 10 minutes to get to the historical centre on foot. The staff is friendly. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary things, such as kettle, microwave, electric cooker.
Position, near to old center and jewish quarter too.
Entrance very old and dark.
