Located in a lively Kazimierz neighbourhood of Kraków, 500 metres from Wawel Castle, Adax offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Every room in Adax is classically furnished, featuring a bathroom with a shower....
Score from 54 reviews Good
Functional no-frills accommodation, in student block. Excellent value for money. Located close to the old Jewish area restaurants.
Some additional resources for non-student residents would have been useful - tea and coffee in rooms; wi-fi.
Excellent value and good location, facilities good with fridge in room and large size. If you want a good supermarket walk towards the river and left to new shopping centre - only found it on last day!
Bit noisy with students practising for most of the evening but it is a music academy -otherwise fine
great location, value for money
no iron, no wifi, no breakfast
Cup but no drinking glass, towel was hand towel size
Clean room, comfortable bed, very nice stuff. Good localisation.
Very clean, large room, and in a good location.
The woman on duty was kind enough to lend us some soap. Otherwise, we would have had no way to wash our hands, never mind our dishes. It is obvious that the facility places emphasis on cleanliness. Why not provide, or even sell, small bars of soap, dish soap, and shampoo? It would benefit the guest and the facility.
Cheap, nice surrounding and personnel
Staff is really really keen to help, and with a smile ! There is a kitchen, but just with 2 plates, 2 glasses and basic cutlery, but I asked for pots, and I received a pot and a pan. If you like music, you have a free concert each day, hearing (good) students reharsing. Nearby interesting places (and tram stop at the corner), but in quiet street. Nice bathroom.
Beds are in fact sofa, and very hard, so I couldn't sleep well.
very nice staff and convenient location
no wireless the bed is too narrow
There is a nice Boston piano in the room! Paradise for musicians. Tram stops just nearby. Also ideal location for exploring the jewish quarter, as well as crossing the river. The Oskar Schindler Factory (must-see in Krakow!) can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
Trains and trams both pass by during the night. Can be noisy for some, unless you want to have the poor artist/musicians' experience… the gigantic shower head does not really function well.
Great location! Very good quality of rooms! Helpful staff! Great value for money!
The staff was very helpful and really friendly.
Location, price, size of place, proximity to public transportation
Sleeping was a bit hard.
Spacious and clean room, modern furniture, good room temperature. Piano in the room! Lot of drawers, fridge, kitchenette. Note however that this is not a classic hotel, as they do not clean the room every day and there was no shower gel (just hand soap). Yeah and no TV. Booking did not require a credit card, but you can pay with it anyway. A guarded parking lot is nearby. Trains and trams pass by next to the hotel, and while I've heard them, they were not very noisy (we were at 4th floor, overlooking the side street).
No wifi in the room.
Hi my room was #6 it had a large bed for a single room.Big fluffy towels the best i have had in this price range plus kettle K.F.S. & plate, good for breakfast for the store next door?No food option here!. Good size bathroom. Also a T.V. table ,chair, a very good room and as in most of Poland in this price range you do not get maid serves keeps the price down?. This I like no disturbance in the morning.I will use this place again location is good the price is good whats not to like.
Excellent value for money. Cheap and basic room near the Jewish quarter. Musical instrument noise added atmosphere.
Quite a walk from the old town. Noise from trains because the train track is not far from the accommodation. Students were still in residence and I didn't like some of their techno music.
Room, amenities and price
It might be noisy but I was tired and did not care. Also door was not sufficiently tight and tobacco smoke from the corridor gets into the room (though I doubt smoking is allowed there).
Lovely well designed rooms with everything you may need for even a long stay. Spacious and with enough cupboard space. Really I had a little flat not a room. There is a stove, fridge and sink which makes all the difference to your comfort I find. The bathroom has all you need. A tip, ask for a big towel, they have!!
The performance to get the wired internet sorted out. The 4th cable worked! Take your own lan cable if you can. It fell out as well when I disconnected and it was anybody's guess how to get back online. The reception staff couldn't help either. My room wasn't cleaned once in the 10 days I stayed there. The staff's English is limited. Although they keep saying uh huh, uh huh, they do something else in the end. Perhaps a cultural thing. The 'essential kitchenware' they state that they provide is a plate, cup and knife fork and tea spoon. No pot or pan or anything else in sight!!! I find at least one pot pretty 'essential kitchenware'. I did NOT appreciate the extreme rudeness of the staff member who checked me out. Very unprofessional.
Good Location, and value for money
Only Handtowels and provided, the heating was not turned on in the Building as unfortunately the weather was not on our side in September and we experienced some cold days.
It was easy to get to the centre of Krakow, with the tram station being right outside. Good value for money and great location.
Very good location.
Excellent confort, clean rooms, nice and helpful staff
