El Hostel

Smart, spacious, generously-priced, friendly well-presented hostel, the nicest I have stayed in. Definitely recommended.

The desk is not staffed for long hours, but this was not a problem for us.

Breafast a bit poor, only white bread.

Beautiful decor, plush towels, comfortable beds, the size of the property, nice staff, cleanliness, enough outlets in room, maps and other information in lobby, security.

Thin curtains, no soap dish in shower, barebones breakfast, lack of soundproofing for rooms, wifi dropped in rooms.

Everything was great. Location is perfect. A quiet neighbourhood just away from two tram stops. Kino Femina provides a direct tram to the old town. Rooms were nice and comfortable. A big common room with TV and Internet and a big kitchen too. All in all, it was great. I will definitely be back to visit these super friendly and helpful staff again.

The decor is bright, cheerful, hip. Very clean, and quiet. Good wifi. The street outside has traffic but not noisy. 5 minute walk to tram line.

It would be helpful to have a small luggage lift/elevator to the rooms on the 3rd floor, instead of carrying up the stairs.

Friendly staff. Quiet surroundings. Bus stop right in front of the hostel. The old town is reachable by foot. Shared facilities clean and well kept. Free computer/internet.

My room was very small and minimalist. Frugal breakfast. But as I stayed at this hostel only one night everything was ok for me.

Very unique and friendly environment, there is a very nice staff she only works there on the weekend. She is super nice and helpful.

Location, it is just a little bit far from the old town.

I stayed only 10h , only because it was close to my destination.

Lack of elevator. You have to take your bags 3 floors up. Generating invoice might take 15 minutes, so let them know ahead if you are in a hurry.

Fast wifi, 15min walk to city center, budget price comparing to the others, free parking.

Staffs are not so friendly and patient, simple facilities. The last night I slept, I felt itchy for the next whole day. WC is external, even it's private. Breakfast couldn't be more simple, only bread,cheese,and ham with only one kind.

Abt 20min walk to the city center, compare the location and price, it's the most budget one we could find in this period. Wifi is fast. Free parking. Many restaurants around.

One of the girl from the reception was not so friendly and patient. The breakfast was too simple: only bread, cheese and ham all with one kind. The room was small, and the beds were 2-floor, like in a school.

Brilliant hostel, spotless, friendly and cheap

Comfortable, clean, quiet (it is off the main street). Very convenient. The interior design is very colorful, creative, and done with the right touch.

We stayed at El Hostel as a group and we were 8 person and we really liked El Hostel. It has a sincere ambiance with fine decoration. Reception is so helpful and smiling. we saw happy people around us so it was really nice. Rooms were tidy, clean and big. Breakfast was like a family breakfast with friends. If you stay at there i think you will be very happy.

Their lamps looking so good but if you open the window and the light at the same time flies go to directly into the lamps it can be little disturbing that's all :)

We booked the Hostel during Euro 2012 and so the price was higher than normal. However ,its good points - - Hostel was of a good standard. - shared bathroom facilities were very good - breakfast was very good. - not far from the tram - the owner was very friendly -Big communal area

We booked a twin room which actually was bunk beds in a very small room. The room had no curtain so were woke up very early by the light. The room was also close to the kitchen so could hear all the pots and pans especially in the morning when breakfast was being set up.
