Hotel Podewils

The Hotel Podewils is set in a great location, close to the old town but across the river so away from the noise and commotion. Our room was spacious. The bathroom was luxurious. I loved that Jacuzzi bathtub. Our room was on the backside of the hotel and it was very quiet. The staff were attentive and helpful. All in all a very nice stay.

Breakfast was very good but the restaurant was not fully operational. I understand that management had contracted out the running of the restaurant but the contractor was let go because the quality was slipping (better to have no restaurant than a horrible one). It's a shame because the restaurant has great ambience and with the right chef it could be a tremendous asset to the hotel (and it's hard to see how a hotel can be a 5 star hotel without a great restaurant). When they get the restaurant up and running again, it will just make the hotel even better. That said, there are plenty of food options in Gdansk so it's not like we were totally put out by this situation.

I have stayed at many hotel but this hotel was one of the best, staff were very helpful and room was excellent. For sure I will go back

Quater of an hour walk to town if ferry accross river was not running

Leuk klein hotel dicht bij het centrum.

Palvelu oli erinomaista. Aamiainen oli mitä monipuolisin. Olimme Podewils-huoneessa, joka oli todella upea ja siisti.

Klein, komfortabel und gute **** Sterne, keinesfall mehr. Das Hotel Podewils ist sehr zu empfehlen. Restaurant relativ teuer und sehr lange Wartezeiten. Frühstück gut.

Es fehlt einiges um im 5 Sterne Bereich mitmischen zu können. Der Türrahmen im Badezimmer ist abgefault.

Atmosphère de maison de famille ancienne, pleine de charme. Jolie vue sur la vieille ville de Gdansk et calme.

Rideaux un peu défraichis dans la chambre mais c'est très mineur.

Koselig og behjelpelig personale. Fine rom, god frokost og en god atmosfære i hele hotellet.

Engelskkunnskapen til noen av hotellets personell var veldig dårlig.

uitstekende ligging t.o.v. centrum, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, klein maar zeer smaakvol ingericht hotel, eigen parkeerplaats.

Uroczy hotelik, ładnie położony - blisko starego miasta.

Zdecydowanie nie zasługuje na 5*, tapicerka na fotelach w pokoju zdecydowanie nie pamięta ostatniego prania - była brudna, tapety również brudne i miejscami odchodzące od ścian - co w mojej opinii jest niedopuszczalne w hotelu 5*.

Lite och intimt, vänlig personal, vackra rum, fantastiskt bra läge. Bra frukost. Skönt med egen parkering bakom hotellet.
