The interior is very beautiful. Nice and friendly staff (especially the girl who checked us in, at 14 on 6th Dec. - thank you!). Good location near Jewish quarter not far from Old town. Free breakfast. A cat!
Very. Cold. The toilet/bathroom was not very clean. WiFi doesn't work in rooms + they had some problems with correct passwords at the time we arrived.
The hotel is near the central city and staff is very friendly!!!
from loud music
The place was really good, close to the city center. Wery good value for the price. Nice staff. Good bar.
It is an ok price for that accomodation. The staff was extremly user friendly and kind.
The staff come into the room at 3 o clock and loudly said the rules for the newcomers. The same thing also happened when I was arrived, an another guest slept in a neighbour bed.
Even after the set time in the evening (10/11 pm) it continued to be very loud and only some of the staff members reacted to this. Apart from that everything was fine and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly.
Nice old building, friendly people, private locker per bunkbed
bar was only open during certain hours, space between bunks was quite limited so top bunks were a challenge to get into.
Fun, great atmosphere, young crowd of people, good bar, bouncing, good location, can't wait to stay there again!
Toilet locks were broken but we reported it. Think it was vandalism from other travellers.
Full breakfast, welcoming staff, events for every night(e.g.world cup), communist decorations
The shabby passage to the hostel is too scary for a solo female like me...NEVER walk at night. No light there. And the locks of doors are mostly problematic
Location, staff who couldn't do enough and were happy to chat away when not busy, great decor, comfy beds, loads of locker space under beds, decent showers, all the local info you could possibly need.
Wifi only worked in a very small area, only one usuable PC
Friendly staff Nice bar Cosy garden
Double rooms are nice 6-person rooms are way to small and the beds were awful.
Everything was really great, the location of the hotel was so close to the city centre, only 10-15 minutes on foot. Breakfast was good (bread, butter, ham, cheese, vegetable, jam, coffe/tea/juice), it is served downstairs at the bar which you can also visit in the evening to play darts or table football. All hotel is trendy decorated :-)) The bedroom is furnished simply but there is everything what you need (a bed, a chair, a wardrobe, a mirror). The toilets and the bathroom was clean. We were satisfied a we really enjoyed the stay in Good Bye Lenin Hostel. I can recommend it to you.
During our stay there were groups of young people who made noise at night and the receptionists listened to loud music every day. There is a railway line behind the hotel, but the trains fortunately didn´t go very often.
The girls at the reception were very nice and helpful, the location is excellent to visit the Jewish Neighborhood. The breakfast was also good. In general the atmosphere was very relaxed, I highly recommend it.
You should consider the fact that the hostel is close to the train station and from time to time you can here the noise from that. But if you are a bad sleeper you would not consider the hostel in general :D
it was relatively close to the Old town, train station and Jews part of Krakow
Very noisy, shared showers and toilets with men, dirty, breakfast served quite late (after 8), the room was cold and the wi-fi inexistent in the room, no helpful sign to locate the hostel and the area it is located is not that good, problematic the way you have to storage your stuff
very close to Kazimierz - an awesome district with lots of bars etc.
Warm and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice and include price.
Room was cold.
The staff were lovely. The location was great, right by the main square. The breakfast was nice.
The bathroom was freezing as was the water coming from the taps. The entrance and reception area was also very cold. The bed was comfortable but the room as a whole was not very inviting, the curtain was useless it was far too small for the window.
Smiling staff, tasty breakfasts, nice lounge, great atmosphere and interior!
Great breakfast Elevator Good rooms Really helpful staff Close to the center
A little bit hard to find the door cause they didn't receive the city permission to put a big sign in the front of the hostel, but this is not big deal
Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, nice atmosphere
It was really really cold in my room
very social atmosphere
Atmosphere is great. Helpful and polite staff, nice breakfast, bar & lounge.
Great location, breakfast was decent, good shower and very clean.
very very basic room, no mirror, no curtains! No where to put clothes. Could hear everything in rooms around us ,not alot of atmosphere in hostel.
