Daughter who is currently studying in Poland showed us around. Don'tmiss the university buildings nor the panorana. Worth visiting the museum in the Old Town Hall. Spa very small and poorly designed -one small communal changing room that spa staff had to use to wash their hands during treatments. Slippery floors. Generally very dark everywhere.Main concern was that our air conditioning control did not work. First room at 24.5 and called staff 5 times out to check. Pleasant response but nothing changed. Moved room and that was better -not because control worked there - 23.5 - but second room had a window we could open.

Very nice rooms, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast buffet Although booking.com did have a mention of cost for the breakfast buffet, I feel the hotel should have mentioned that - they just told us what time breakfast was. Also, the hotel says they will prepare whatever you want to eat for dinner/room service and one evening we asked to just get a cheese plate and some bread and they acted surprised and just handed us a very overpriced menu. They serve cheese and bread every morning so it should have been easy. Staff could have better English skills as most guests were not Polish and were communicating mostly in English.

Just got back from a weekend trip with my husband, we found The Granary very good value for the money, though I did find the Breakfast expensive in comparison. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great location for the city. We would definitely go again.

The food is excellent. The staff are excellent. The room has everything you need. The building itself is atmospheric, and it is a very short stroll to the historic square, shopping malls and has excellent access to trams to get where-ever else you need to go. It was a little cold, the air conditioning seemed to be under-specified for the room. We couldn't seem to get the temperature over 21 degrees Celcius.

Location Pictures of executive rooms do not reflect reality - the room I got was pretty standard, on the 0 level, rather usual hotel room, nothing special and definitely you could not feel the "granary" spirit in there. Although I booked the room through booking.com, the receptionists could not find my reservation for a long while, then it appeared that I was given a room prepared for single use although it has been booked as double.

Very Luxe hotel and not expensive. We had a very big room for 2 person. Not far from Rynek square max 10 min walk. Very good service from the staff. If you want to go to Wroclaw you should go to this hotel. It is new (2009). Enjoy.

The hotel is close to the city center and very comfortable. I think it is a bit overpriced compared to other properties we have stayed at in Germany and Poland. I think the hotel is a bit overpriced and the staff, while pleasant, did not go out of their way to be helpful in the same way that staff at the hotels we stayed at in Krakow or Warsaw routinely. If I visited Wroclaw again, I would choose a different hotel.

I liked the location of this hotel....although it was not as central as I had thought it would be! I liked the bedroom/bathroom decor. I liked the price I secured through Bookings.com...it was very good value! I would return. I thought the reception staff could have been more attentive. They were great as we arrived but, after that, sometimes did not even bother to stop talking among themselves to offer a courteous Hello as we entered/ left the hotel....NOT 5* behaviour! The bedroom was beautiful and large....but, it had very little natural daylight....as a result of the design of the hotel I guess!...but, next time I would lask for a room with natural light! If there is one! House keeping was a little lax...we found bits and bobs under chairs etc! The tissues and toilet roll were not replaced, The flower in the bathroom was left dead! There was a stain on the carpet. Breakfast was very expensive and definitely not worth the cost. Dinner was expensive and disappointing.

Within 5min walking distance to city center but not in city center like Qubus hotel Definitely won't rate it as a 5 star hotel in any aspects. No 5 star service, staff don't appear warm or helpful. The street to the hotel is under serious road works and the feel leading to the hotel is not good at all. Cannot imagine walking in that street in the middle of the night.

The history of the place is very cool - and it's very comfortable. We got in on a great deal so it made it great value for money - I'm not sure I'd rate it the same if I'd paid the full rate, but it was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We didn't have sufficient towels but this was remedied with speed and friendliness... Thanks to The Granary for a very pleasant short city break. Access was hampered by major earthworks around The Granary which was a little offputting, but of course that will be a temporary issue.

Great room with lots of space, nice design, comfortable bed and sitting area, nice bathroom, and quiet air conditioner. Nice ambience Second time that "pay per view" did not work at all. Construction around hotel made it difficult to get in and out. Expensive breakfast not worth it.

The ambience and the comfort of the rooms is excellent. The location near the centre is perfect. The best "air conditioned" room I have stayed at in Wroclaw...quiet and easy to set. Great food on the late room service which is really nice and convenient but the breakfast is too expensive. The plan was to relax with wife and watch Pay Per View in the luxury of our room after visiting the centre...services were rated fair because the Pay Per View was not working and forced us to change our plans.A little detail but one which was part of our plan... the hotel should make sure its services are available...to me that is what we are paying for. The breakfast is way too expensive.

Modern design in renovated old building - very well done. Very comfortable, spacious room (suite). Excellent facilities where everything you need is there and works! Free internet connection inc. Wi-fi. The staff are young but highly competent and polite. Highly recommended, whether you're travelling on buisness or visiting Wroclaw for pleasure. Excellent value for the high standards provided.
