Hotel Grodek is a beautiful elegantly furnished hotel. It is in a prime location - about 3 minutes from the central square, yet is quiet and secluded. The breakfast is excellent, both in choice and quality. Altogether thoroughly satisfactory. |

Staff were extremely friendly, keen to help and efficient. Room comfortable and not modern-bland. A more knowledgeable help on city restaurant choices would have been appreciated but this is a minor niggle. |

We enjoyed a brief city break - excellent hotel, food and staff - they were helpful and spoke perfect English - I could not fault it. We booked a twin room but were put in a double - the bed settee in the television area was converted into a bed and we were perfectly satisfied. |

The room service was excellent as was the breakfast, and the dinner we had there was very well prepared and good value. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was a little hard to find, and not impressive until you entered. |

The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere. The staff were brilliant and willing to book restaurants etc. There was a beautiful terrace just outside our room (309) and we enjoyed sitting out with a glass of wine in the evening before dinner. Krakow is a beautiful city. We also hired a car and went out to the salt mine (which was amazing -couldn't believe the carvings and chandeliers made of salt. The countryside was surprisingly pretty and we had a fabulous lunch in a rural restaurant for a quarter of the price of the restaurants in Krakow itself. Our friends had a very small room which was disappointing. |

Nice quiet and convenient location, pleasant rooms and helpful staff. Interesting exhibits of artefacts found during the renovation of the building. Beds slightly on the small side, especially in twin rooms,breakfast choices not as good as in some larger hotels. |

The Hotel was in a quiet cul-de sac but within walking distance of all the main tourist areas. It is small and very comfortable and the staff were very helpful |

Hotel was in a quiet location. No passing traffic or passers by. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and very relaxed. Good location for walking around Krakow. The room was on the first floor and it was rather dark as the window overlooked an internal courtyard. Difficult to know when it was morning. |

As we are senior citizens the hotel proved to be the perfect location and within walking distance of all the sights of Krakow. It is a little gem and we would certainly stay there again. |

The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great, a buffet as well as a menu with hot breakfast choices. The staff were really friendly and helped us organise a driver for the salt mine and Auschwitz. |

Charming and exquisitely tasteful, with superb food and most helpful and friendly staff. Luxurious and clean room, with heated floor bathroom. Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, offered a quiet hide-away, in the old town. Great central location for sightseeing, shopping and eating. |
