Score from 619 reviews Very good
- good location in city centre - hotel staff pleasant and communicative - nice breakfast
- room upgrade offered but same-size room received while upgrade must be paid by guest (is this a real upgrade then ?)
Poor bed, poor wifi, bad air
Very helpful and efficient staff. Bogusia in breakfast room always with a great smile and a good word. She will make your day perfect even on a cloudy day! Good location next to the old town, train station and a shopping mall. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds! We will be back for sure!
The only thing we didn't like was shower gel in the bathroom. Bit too oily and with a weird scent.
Very nice staff, lovely hotel completely renovated with unbelievable large selection for breakfast! Highly recommended.
- Nice location - Nice and clean rooms - Friendly staff
- Tried to charge more for our upgrade than was agreed upon, may be an administration error, but still..
Great location next to old town
Breakfast was really poor for 50zl The room is really small. In fact you get up from the bed, you meet the wall, or the desk. Same for the bathroom not designed for women. There is no way to get closed to the miroir for makeup. I had to torn myself above the sink and the toilets. Lights in the room and bathroom are poor and yellow. Bed sheets were not cleaned. I find something dried on it. For 2 days they stayed dirty. One lamps was not working. A mark of coffee was still on the bed table and was not washed off after 2 nights of stay.
very nice and helpful staff, clean and modern rooms
v.week wi-fi in the room
It was our first time in Gdansk. Me and my wife came from Warsaw to Gdansk by train. The distance from Dworzec Glowny to the hotel is 700 meters, so it's very close. The hotel is placed near Stare Miasto (Old City). The staff was excellent, the room was comfortable, so we're very satisfied and liked everything in this hotel.
Lovely hotel and staff, very convenient to the centre of Gdansk for sight seeing.
Poor pavements leading to the hotel
Between airport and hotel were straight shuttle buss line.
The bed were little bit hard.
location rooms staff the view over the old town was beautiful. we had a room on the 8th floor.
the beds was a bit hard for me.
Great location Good rooms v comfy
The room, which was what one can expect from an international chain like Mercure. The dinner buffet, which was not of exceptional quality, but fed us and was worth the price. The location within walking distance of the main train station.
Bus loads of budget tourists flood the lobby and reception. It is too much for only two receptionists to cope with. Expect wait times and congestion. WiFi login process is not adequate for mobile devices: whenever the display goes blank on your iPhone, you will have to complete the procedure again.
Good beds, food, position of hotel for town centre.views of Gdansk are splendid
Could do with a bit of road resurfacing in front of building.
We were on floor 12 and had a great view over the old town
Noisy air con
Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster, eigenes Design
Frühstück nicht im Preis inbegriffen
Great location, great value, great view of Gdansk. Staff is friendly, breakfast is very good. I am a frequent traveler to Gdansk and I stay at the Mercure whenever possible.
Rooms are small for even for one person. That doesn't bother me but it might bother you. Don't ask the desk staff to call you a cab. There are plenty of cabs out in front to take you wherever you want to go.
Room floors external space decoration was good.
Bathroom poor Beds poor quality
Very friendly staff, the room was at 15. floor, very clean and quiet, good location, beautiful view over the town, absolutely we'll stay there again. We had a Wizzair transport from the airport and back, it was easy cause it stops in front of the hotel.
A bit hard bed and too big pillows :). Wifi didn't work all the time.
location cleanliness polite staff
shower over bath leaked all over floor window does not open wide enough room stuffy breakfast not included in price and too expensive sink in bathroom strong odour from plug hole
The staff were excellent. The breakfast had a great selection of items and were of good quality. Easy to get to the hotel from the main railway station.
I got upgraded to a suite on 16 floor had the most amazing view. Fantastic room v clean had everything you would need and good breakfast with lots of choice
All mod cons Near railway station Hotel restaurant food good Friendly pleasant staff Good location for historical areas
Huge impersonal 17 storey block Popular with coach parties WiFi connection in room poor, OK in lobby
Monika in the reception was very nice.
