Scandic Gdańsk    

Location is perfect to travel to Sopot and Gdynia and at the same time enjoy Gdansk. The centre of the city is nearer than what you expect and the streets are nice and safe.

Location opposite the train station was just right along with convenient location for arrival from the airport late at night allowing for a quick check in and bed without traipsing around in a new city. Room quiet and clean, well equipped and confortable.

Opposite the train station and easy to travel in the old town.

Location of the hotel very convenient handy access to tram and train stations. Hotel staff were so helpful, one of the girls helped to search for apartment. They also extended my check out until I finalized the contract of the apartment. The old city was walking ditance and Madison mall was just behind the hotel. Our saty was very enjoying.

The location was good. It was quiet in the hotel.

The breakfast was too expensive.

Small single room, only with shower and no shampoo or gel No foot mat/towel very limited tv channels to watch except if paying to view programs my stay did not count towards my 2nd floor status as it was booked via a web portal. This is crazy and why a difference from booking on the Scandic site versus booking via a portal - don't you want the business from any direction??

Hotel is top quality. Perfect business hotel. Staff are top quality also.

I feel the tv's can be upgraded. Why not get flat screen? Also, it would be helpful if BBC news channel could be accessed.

Clean, tidy, and well kept. Had everything I needed for my stay in the room. Wifi signal strength good, and reasonable speed of access.

The location across the boulevard from the train station (Gdansk Glowny) with a tunnel from one side to the other was very convenient to the train traveler or anyone who wants to do a side trip to Sopot or Gydnia! The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facilities were top flight and a good value.

Conveniently situated across the road from Gdansk Glowny station, and only a few minutes walk from the exceptionally lovely old town. Room was fine with a view to station.

Didnt take breakfast as it was vastly overpriced.

Well priced, conveniently located hotel a few minutes walk to the old town and across the road from the rail station. There is a secure car park next door

we enjoyed our stay at scandic gdansk because the staff was very friendly they let us have our privacy and the room was very clean and had everything we needed in it it was a pleasure staying there and would recomend it to anyone one who is going to poland

I know that it is not hotel's fault but it smelled like cigarette smoke although it was a non-smoking room.

There is not anything bad to say about Scandic Gdansk! The hotel is bright, fresh, and inviting. It is located right at the railroad station which is what we needed. We were going to Sopot one day and the city the next so being by the station was perfect as well as we were touring the country by train. The staff was fabulous!!! The front desk girls really can make or break a visit and these girls were over the top with customer service. I needed a doctor or go to the hospital for treatment. Katherine on the evening shift on Friday, April 27th was so patient and kind as she helped me find a doctor. I was glad I didn't have to go to the hospital. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. I think that hotel could use a concierge desk to help with as many tourists that goes through that lobby.

The hotel was very nice. The room was not that big but well equiped. The buffet breakfast was very rich and tasty. The location of the hotel is very good for a walk around Gdansk's center, and also easy to get from the airport.
