Clean, comfortable, home-like atmosphere, friendly staff, clean kitchen with utensils and facilities, fast, reliable internet, great location
No elevator (there are 3 flights of stairs to the hostel), shower head was broken and had to be held while showering, there was no one there to let us in when we first arrived (but we only had to wait 5 minutes)
The location is absolutely great ! So near the main square ! Appartment was big, well furnished and really nice. Hot water is great. We've been offered a bottle of sparkling wine for new year's eve, very nice gesture ! Building is nice. We were not disturbed at all by the "bars" around. There's a "milk bar" right at the entrance, very typical, cheap and good.
Problem was that the bed was not very comfortable, the quilt not big enough (and we're pretty skinny) and the pillows almost non-existent. Towels were a bit too old too ... Unfortunately we had a non-pleasant smell coming from the bathrooms during the five days. Not that disturbing but still.
Very clean room, comfy bed. The location is excellent- so close to the main square & many tourist sites. It was very quiet even on a Saturday night.
I couldn't get the wifi to work although my partner could. My partner was unwell whilst we were away so we weren't out at nighttime & the tv in the lounge didn't seem to work either, but if you are out & about as we'd hoped to be it shouldn't matter!
beds weren't comfortable
Only two short side streets away from the main square. Clean comfortable rooms. Decent sized en-suite. Strong Wi-Fi in room. 24 hour desk. Great price.
Late night, early morning noise from the pub/club opposite at weekends. Didn't affect me much but might if you are a light sleeper. Not as noisy during week-days.
Hostel really near to the city centre, staff is really nice. The hostel is well equipped with a kitchen where you can cook anything or just make coffe and tea. Really good hostel.
In the night you van hear the noise from the people in the street. (The hostel is in a street with some bars) but I could sleep well anyway.
Really close to the square and all the restaurants and pubs. Rooms basic but clean good value for money.
Asked for a double but was 2 singles pushed together, would benefit from proper curtains as the ones up were voiles and let the light right in.
The location was perfect. The staff were very helpfull and nice. Good breakfast. Generally speaking from what you can expect from a hostel it was good.
The staff is great very friendly and informative.
The location was great and the price was very cheap. It's nice and cosy inside, very clean. You can make yourself a coffee at anytime in the kitchen, and the breakfast was also very good.
The shower holder wasn't working, so you had to hold the shower head. Also it was a bit cold, as in the heating was off. But maybe it wasn't that cold for Poland!
It is really close to the old town square, really sympa. It's much better than a hotel. Wifi connection is good.
room was nice, bed was big and comfortable, i could open the windows to let the night air in, location was excellent and staff were helpful and friendly
kitchen was poorly equipped, glasses were not clean, very nasty smell from the bathroom (which i see others have commented on, so it hasn't been addressed despite the hotel operators knowing about it)
It is in the very very center of the city with most of the touristic attraction on walking distance. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The quality/price ratio is excellent.
location is good
Very good location close to centre of the old town. Well equipped common kitchen. Clean bathroom.
Room on street was noisy, but double glazed windows alleviated that, had to keep them shut however. No dark curtains on windows, light streaming into room at 4am. Carpet needs replacing.
The staff was really nice and helpful. The hostel location is in the middle of the town and we think that it's money well spend consider where is located. The room itself were fine and a normal size, it was nice decorated :)
We just had hoped that wi-fi would have been able to have in our room but that was not possible. It would also have been nice if they would have cleaned every day.
I like the location
I dont like the cold water in the bathroom
Staff was friendly and helpfull. Location is great. Kitchen and bathroom clean. Kitchen is fully equiped.
Excellent service from staff, prepare us breakfast for when we left at 3am for an early flight
Smell in room coming from bathroom.
Good location, clean and comfortable room. You can cook by yourself in well equipped kitchen.
No elevator, but it is on 2nd floor.
Great location. Nice and Clean.Use of kitchen 24hrs. WiFi in rooms a bonus.
Walls abit thin but it is a hostel not 5* hotel.
Small, cozy hostel in the heart of Krakow in the beautiful ancient house. Only 3 rooms, ideal for two or three families, or for several friends. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, everything is perfrect!
Narrow and steep stairs with no lift, no parking near the hostel, you should leave the car in the paid city parking 10 minutes walk
