Hostel Universus is housed in a beautifully renovated, historic Royal Stables building, 100 metres from popular Długa Street in the Old Town Gdańsk. It offers sunny rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rooms at the Universus are decorated with warm colours and come with wooden floors. Each has a table, nightstands and shared bathroom facilities. There is a fully equipped kitchen at the guests’ disposal, where they can prepare drinks and meals. Guests can relax in the common lounge with a TV and DVD player. Luggage storage and a safe are both provided. Hostel Universus is situated within a 2-minute tram ride form city’s main railway station, the Gdańsk Główny. Staff are very nice and helpful. Location of the hostel is perfect. Clean, tidy and cheap, I will definitely recommend to friends.

Very friendly staff!!! Perfect location, in heart of town ( shopping, restaurants, clubs) but still very quite....easy access by the bus to airport and just 10min walk to get to train station you can easly get to Sopot or Gdynia.Always when I go to Poland I m more then happy to stay there!! Great value for money...Highly recomended!!

Clean, comfortable and well-run. Was happy that when I arrived at 12:30 they checked me in, without me having to ask to be checked in early either! A good night's sleep, clean bathrooms Quiet - which was ok for me but not for all backpackers. Kitchen a little lacking in facilities

just perfect. the staff are really nice, facility is great and I had no problem waiting for the bathroom. Just a fews steps from the center of the old town and 10-15 mins' walk from the main railway station!

Nice place to stay while in Gdansk. I stayed in a private room and it was ok. It is located in the center of everything worth seeing. If you are looking for a place for overnight stay at a central location and with good price, this is the place for you!

Clean bright room, helpful and friendly English speaking staff, towels available for rent, hot drinks machine, residents' lounge with a/v equipment and Internet access. Extremely reasonable rates for a hostel within 100 yards of the main street (ul. Długa) in the Główne Miasto. Hostel shares premises with discotheque which plays "Disco-Polo" (deep, repetitive, loud and penetrating bass) from 21:00 until (maybe) 02:00 -- 03:00, after which student residents return to the hostel and proceed to make an appalling noise for a further two hours, completely ignoring the hostel's "quiet time" from 22:00 -- 07:00. The bathroom was described as "shared by at most one other person", but on my second night I had to wait until 10:30 for access (trying from 08:30 onwards), by when the shower water was completely cold. Strangely, the basin hot water was still hot enough to shave satisfactorily. As far as I could tell, there was just one shower room and two W.C.s for all residents of my corridor, in which there must have been about eight rooms.

那个manager真的是很好，我定的是六人间后来他看我一个女生不太安全就把我上调到四人间去了，没有付- 差价不说还是我自己一个人。态度也很好，很干净，很值~！ 没有

Personalen var hjälpsam och vänlig. Rummet rent och bekvämt. Läget fantastiskt. Köket/TV-rummet stort och behagligt. Saknade lite bättre möjligheter att laga egen mat (fanns bara en mikro och en vattenkokare).

Близко к вокзалу и практически в старом городе (Золотые ворота), легко найти. Круглосуточно есть персонал. Есть WiFi, кухня, кофейный автомат. Очень дёшево. Бюджетный хостел для того, чтобы переночевать. Для развлечений рядом есть множество баров.

В самом центре, в шаговой доступности от исторической улицы Длуга. Интернет работает прекрасно.Он бесплатный. Хостел легко найти - на окнах подписано его название. До железнодорожного вокзала пешим ходом 15 минут. Внутри есть автомат с горячими напитками. Есть кухня - можно приготовить что-то поесть, разогреть в микроволновке. Душ всего один на этаж. Ввиду того что комнат очень много (муравейник) то приходится ждать. Горячая вода нагревается бойлером, соответственно ее надо ждать после предыдущего посетителя.Мне в номере застелили не очень чистое постельное- находил чужие волосы на пододеяльнике. Я не придирчив но это слишком.
