Arrived at hotel at 9.30 am with an early flight - we were given breakfast by chap on reception which was great. Hotel has been newly modernised with small reception/breakfast area with internet, newspapers, large screen Tv. Room (had booked deluxe) was compact but adequate. Beds were comfortable. Shame no english language programmes on TV in room. Would chose to stay nearer Old town in future - about a 25 minute walk to Rynek (on cobbled streets). |

Staff were very welcoming and spoke good English Location is a little rough, the streets emptied out at sundown! however, handy for all amenities - transport to town, supermarket, taxis around the corner. |

The Akira B&B is recently renovated, so the room was modern and had new decor and furnishings. It was great to have parking right outside, and the city centre was a 15 min walk which was very pleasant. The staff provided a map of the city and gave me good information on what to see and where to eat. Having been recently renovated I think there should have been at least a fan and, preferably, air conditioning installed. The temp was hot, but due to mosquitoes, I couldn't sleep with the window open so I found it uncomfortable at night. The movement detection sensor in the bathroom did not give enough time for a normal shower, the staff did mention they were having problems with the system and that it was going to be fixed. Also the soundproofing could be better - I could hear people in the rooms 2 doors down the corridor. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Took trouble to give good information about the town and transports to other places where I was going. Very nice and kind attitude. Just one question.A friend living in Wroclaw had phoned, asking if I had arrived. They said at the hotel that they were not authorised to give such information, which I find rather strange. I suggest that they take a message, should that happen again. Hohwever, they were very helpful when I tried to phone my friend myself |

Nothing to like. The room was way too small, about big enough for my big case only, bathroom had movement detection lights which didnt cover the shower which meant you were always caught in the dark full of soap. |

The Akira hotel is not situated in the most idelike setting within the city however the staff freindlyness and efficiency more than make up for any of the location shortfalls, it was very clear and mordern if not very large, the breakfast was more than ample. The location was not in the most desireable area, the area of the city was a bit run down. |
