Nice cosy room, lots of space.
No tea or coffee in the rooms
Look of the rooms.
Hotel give us twin instead of double (we lived 1 person in one room so we wanted the biggest beds possible). The hotel restaurant had rather short menu especially for lunch but still was quite expensive.
Staff and accommodation were amazing. Enjoyed every moment while were in the hotel especially spa facilities!
This was my second stay as a solo traveller. I was arriving late and a quick email exchange and the hotel had arranged a taxi to meet me on arrival at the airport. I also advised at time of booking that I was leaving before breakfast and required "breakfast on the go". No need to remind them, all was arranged as asked for on departure day. I even needed to leave something at reception to be collected by someone the following day. Again not a problem. A hassle free stay, good location, friendly staff with nothing too much trouble and always with a smile. Good breakfast too. I am staying again in a few weeks.
The view from hotel is nice specially at night.
Free parking lot was not available in most of time. Parking area of hotel is very inconvenient because Porter should be accompanied every exit and entrance.
language skills of restaurant staff could be better
Location and facilities are very good. As a Booking customer a have got the upgrade to apartment. The quality of apartment is one of the best in Poland.
Charging debit card was too difficult for reception, I had to use credit card.
Perfect location Good restaurant and facilities
6 floors but lift only goes to 4th floor
Very nice and stylish hotel, perfect location at Marina, everything in walking distance, perfect staff, very nice atmosphere, wonderful beer (own brewery inhouse!)
Breakfast not included, garage expensive
The best location beer and service plus spa
Nice views and room. Fantastic beer made in the micro brewery downstairs. If you like pierogi, there's a little restaurant 100 m from the hotel serving excellent pierogi.
I'm glad there is an aircon - with 25C at night you couldn't sleep without it - but it's quite noisy.
The size of the room and the balcony was good. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast had a nice selection of food.
Wi-Fi was slow, television did not work, the shower/bathtub was not great. Also, the guy they got to fix my television swore like a sailor. One morning the fire alarm went off, but the people working there just laughed at us and told us to get back to bed. At seven o'clock on a Saturday morning..
Was my 3rd stay at the Gdansk. Picked it for it's great location, close to all attractions but in a quiet area. We were there in a group of 15 for a family reunion. Our room was clean but WIFI was not working, which was not an issue as widely available in bars, cafes etc. Nicely furnished and excellent breakfast with plenty of local dishes.
For Sunday we booked a meal at the Browaria restaurant at the Hotel as it was my cousin's birthday. We bought a cake from a local bakery and I asked if the restaurant manager could store it and then bring it out at the end of the meal. She said there would be a charge of 50 zloty (around £10) to cover this. I was running late and wanted the evening to be a success so reluctantly paid with a view to sorting out the next day. We spent in excess of 3,000 zloty on food and drink that evening (the food was good) but service a bit haphazard to start. Next day I met 2 managers . One agreed the cake charge was excessive whilst the original manager was very curt and said I had paid but now changed my mind and ' you don't want our cake you have to pay for priviledge of your own' . She would not refund and had a very unpleasant attitude. They were going into a meeting to discuss but by which time I had to leave for the airport. Just feel it was a made up charge and a real cheek given we had 15 people staying there and spent a considerable amount at the hotel
The location of the hotel. Beautiful view of the water and marina. Across the street from old town and tourist attractions. The rooms are huge (suits).
good location in a quiet region at walking distance from historical center. excellent breakfast very comfortable room good local beer
noisy airco very poor internet connection some minor (quality) issues in the restaurant
We were allocated an apartment instead of rooms. The apartment was excellent and made our experience all the more enjoyable.[with the exception of breakfast]
The attitude of staff at breakfast left a lot to be desired. Most of the ladies were surly and not really that helpful. We were not given a key card to open the door to leave the breakfast room and it seemed to be a real hardship for a member of staff to come to our assistance and open the door with their key card.Breakfast was not an enjoyable experience
Great location overlooking the Motlawa river and the old town. Excellent beer made locally.
Loved the location to the old city :) Nice old feel
Was hot in the room, air conditioners were being installed but not functioning yet when we were there. And we opened a window but loud patio bar downstairs, not good for sleeping.
Great breakfast buffet. Lovely food and great beers. Very reasonably priced.
Individual duvets were too small for larger people and no extra pillows given.
The microbrewery and restaurant downstairs. Fantastic food, atmosphere and very reasonable price.
Excellent location close to town center. Very friendly staff who were happy to help with small extras that we requested. Great beer, bar and restaurant. Would be happy to recommend to anyone staying Gdansk.
Nothing to disllike
A very friendly atmosphere in the hotel; staff helpfull in every way; had a very pleasent short stay at the hotel.
Very nice hotel, interesting design corresponding with location. Rooms are comfortable and have very nice cozy athmosphere.
At the breakfast service was rather slow & "lost". Coffe machine was broken and there was no alternative. I had to wait more than 10 minutes for my omelet even there was no que at all!
very good hotel: clean, elegant and very close to the city center.
The hotel is in old granary building. Beautiful interior design. Conveniet location near Old Town. Free WiFi internet upon request. We had beautiful river view. Very comfortable bed. There is a real brewery in the restaurant with local beer. They have sauna.
Bathroom was a little bit too small. Breakfast is much overpriced (50 zł per person).
