Hotel Gdańsk

Superligging, onze trip naar Gdansk heeft ons mede door ons verblijf in dit mooie hotel fantastisch bevallen. Goed ontbijt, mooie kamer+ badkamer, vriendelijk personeel, kortom goede faciliteiten voor een prima prijs.

De temperatuur op de hotelkamer was niet regelbaar, was echt heel warm. Er was een feest gaande in de brouwerij, daar kun je ook wel wat geluidsoverlast van ondervinden (en je kon er geen biertje drinken).

Dit was een zeer mooi hotel ideaal gelegen voor een stadsbezoek aan Gdans met zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Een echte aanrader

Ligging van het hotel is ideaal. 500 meter lopen en je staat midden in het oude centrum. Kamers waren schoon en mooie badkamer. Ontbijt was voldoende met ruime keuzes.

Hotel Gdansk beschikt over comfortabel en sfeervol ingerichte kamers,zeer vriendelijk personeel en heeft een gunstige ligging t.o.v het centrum.

the card kept not working in my door (5th floor!), several times, frustrating.

Proximity to the city centre. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - wide choice of fresh food of a very high standard. Great decor. Very clean. Fantastic beer brewed under hotel. Overall top class ambiance. If visiting the region again I would definately stay there. I could not speak highly enough of it.

Not really a direct criticism of the hotel or staff but I was told by a member of staff that the taxi ride to the airport was approx PLN 50. This was also the estimate from a recently published guide book. The price was actually PLN 85. Now 60 or 65 I could accept as being near enough but the given estimate was way out. The reason for this could be that it was on a Sunday - and a 'holiday' Sunday at that. I'm not sure if this would have had a bearing on the price. This would not stop me staying at Hotel Gdansk again and I would recommend it very very highly.

Clean, beautiful rooms and an in-house microbrewery

I really wished the room had a bath tub instead of just the shower.

Wonderful and accommodating staff, lovely contemporary interior design, clean timber flooring in the bedrooms, good food, micro-brewery... where could you go wrong!

beautiful room. all very new and tasteful. the breakfast was very good too.

communication with the staff was not always successful: we had booked the pick-up service from the airport but in the end in turned out to be an ordinary taxi waiting for us and also not charging us the flat fee indicated by the hotel but the ordinary taxi fee. (the difference was about 2 EUR, but still)

We liked the hotel very much. Only that our room was extremely hot (no air condition). At request we got a fan in our room.

Air conditioning would be fine, but the hotel was in an old building, so maybe it is not possible. Otherwise everything was just fine.
