Excellent staff who catered for your needs in a quiet professional manner whilst respecting your privacy. The location by the river an closeness to the heart of old Gdansk was a bonus. Although there was some noise at night from singers etc these disappeared by roughly 22:00hrs affording a quiet night. The singing incidentally related to 'sea shanty' type which was appropriate to the location. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Gdansk.

I definitely liked the view of my room and the location. The hotel was in a quiet area and very close to the main streets. The staff was very welcoming. Fantastic stay, so since I have to travel more to Gdansk I'll be choosing this hotel.

I was really impressed with this hotel in general. The price was right in my budget, and I feel like we got way more than we paid for. The accommodations are new, clean, and very nice. The decor is tasteful and the food (especially the breakfast) is delicious.

The position in Gdansk was excellent. The food was very good and not excessively priced. All staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. I have every intention of returning to this hotel whenever I have to visit Gdansk.

Nice location on the canal. Room had a balcony which had a lovely view. There were no tea or coffee making facilities which we missed! The bar staff refusing to make a coffee as they were closing up at about 11.30pm.

The location on the Motlawa River was excellent. Our room afforded a nice view of the river and you could walk right out onto the boardwalk from the hotel. The restaurant was fairly reasonably priced (58 PLN for lunch for two) and offered another lovely view. There was AC in the room and a lift. Our overall impression was that this was really a 3 star hotel and that the 4 stars were granted primarily based on the location and views, which were indeed excellent. The furniture was run-of-the-mill hotel stuff, and the walls were scuffed. The towels were thin and each person got one big and one smaller towel. The shower was silly as the head was mounted on the long side of the tub rather than the short. As a result, the spray was directed right at the shower curtain.
