The room had a hopelessly small window

We only stayed at the Hanza for one short night, so can't say much. Location: super, great views over the river. Comfort: great; big room, nice, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Staff: friendly and efficient. Breakfast: very good - plently of choice.

Fitness suite: only tried it briefly (didn't have much time), but found it rather hot and airless. Otherwise ok.

Rooms very comfortable, bar staff were excellent and breakfast was superb.

It's right in the old city . everything is in walking distance

We had a suite with separate living room and bedroom. A nice bathroom with a big corner bath tub. Breakfast was included and we had it delivered to the room every morning at no extra cost. It was a huge breakfast which filled us up for most of the day. Excellent service. Menu from the restaurant was good and we had dinner delivered to the room a couple of times as well. We stayed for 5 days and would stay at this hotel next time as well.

unconvinient location of sockets in rooms (it was a real trouble to charge a sellphone), breakfast only for extra payment

River location and close to old town, friendly staff and comfortable rooms which were kept spotlessly clean and good selection on offer for breakfast and would stay again.

Stayed on top floor with some 4-5 meters to the ceiling, found some dust on wall probably due to the fact of the difficulty to reach. Rest of room/ bathroom where spotless. The taxi that picked us up at the hotel to bring us to the airport had taped over the tariff rate and when we arrived the airport the price where double the price of when we used taxi from airport to hotel. For the future; Suggest you use a taxi company/ drivers you can thrust.

situation by river was nice if we could have windows tu the river roo room was good and the bedds were exelent. the hotel was nearly empty why you couldnt give the room facing to river

The hotel is in an old historic district, but is modern and up-to-date. It has a restaurant, bar, and the room was a good size, and comfortable.

The bathroom. The shower tended to leak all over the floor. The flusher had to be flushed several times. The pillows were a lot larger and fatter than what we were used to, and a bit uncomfortable. We probably could have requested something else.

The hotel is ideal to explore the city, excellently positioned next to the river with a great view. The rooms are kept spotless as is the rest of the hotel, the buffet style breakfast is ideal for any visitor wishing to have a hearty meal before exploring what beautiful Gdansk has to offer. We will return next year to see what we simply could not fit in over our four day break, thankyou for an enjoyable stay ! I highly recommend the Hanza. Thanks David Norris.

Nothing it was perfect.

So close to the old city. Staff spoke fairly good English & tried hard to help us organise our washing. Bar downstairs was a great place to wind up at the end of the evening. Right on the river and so close to restaurants & just about everything you would want to do in Gdansk (pronounced darnsk)

No washing facilities on-site. We had to send it away & it took 2 days to come back. Lucky we had time to wait.

Everything! Outstanding breakfast! Beautiful facilities. Fabulous location by the Motlawa River walk. In the center of Gdansk with great touring and shopping. Hotel staff great.

Location, breakfast, view from public rooms

Our room on the 4th floor had no view at all. The window was a port hole well above head height, so we could see a small patch of sky. Consequently, the room whilst comfortable was claustrophobic.
