Fairly expensive for Poland. No lift

Super location, staff were fine. Very clean.

Kitchen equipment in the apartment was sparse: 4 espresso cups and saucers (no coffee machine), kettle arrived after 24 hours, one pot (dirty lid) one frying pan. No dining table in the apartment. Breakfast in the hotel was ok, but no coffee pot, had to make ground coffee in a cup.

Booked a room and once I got there the room was an nice sized apartment. Suited my stay and could recommend this hotel for sure.

I liked pretty everything - I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions already and it never failed me. The restaurant cuisine is particularly worthy of note: the food they serve is delicious.

Torun Old Town Is fantastic. Heban hotel location is very handy. Breakfast polish food excelent.

Torun is a beautiful historic city and this hotel is located within a reasonable walking distance of most of the main sights in Torun. It is in a side street and we weren't disturbed in the night despite sleeping with the windows open. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious, very clean, comfortable and attractively furnished. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional. Breakfast was ample with a good selection of dishes. We enjoyed our evening meal at the hotel; food was of a good standard, with excellent service, in a dining area that is tastefully decorated, part of a historic town house. We feel that the hotel offers very good value for money given its class and will go back should we return to Torun in the future.

We booked an apartment (situated in a building across the street from the main hotel building) - arriving, parking was a breeze - a few yards away from the hotel entrance, the receptionist gave us a parking permit (well, the hotel's name on a card) - 25zl per day. The apartment itself was very good - very spacious - lounge (sofa/foldout bed), bedroom, usable kitchen, largeish bathroom. The apartment was a little old and musty, with the exception of the bathroom which seems to have been refurbished. There's a long narrow balcony with a good view of the street below. Breakfast was fine - not a very wide selection but enough, and tastefully done. Overall for an apartment fairly good value for money, but needs more attention by management.

Poor service and maintenance really let this place down. Wifi was not working - after several attempts to sort this out at the front desk they admitted there was a problem - which would not be fixed until the next day. IMO wifi is a basic amenity - get a 24-hour service contract, Next morning - still no wifi. There were 2 a/cs in the flat - a big plus in Poland - however neither was working (even tried changing batteries in the remote - no use). 2 TVs - a nice, big LCD (all inputs available in the back) in the lounge with looked like an impressive array of cable channels - except that the cable stopped working in the evening, Smaller CRT TV in the bedroom. The bathroom is very nice (albeit in a strange elongated shape) - a toilet, a double sink, a separate shower and a bathtub. However, the hot water pressure in the bathttub was virtually non-existent, making it almost impossible to use. Strangely enough, no problem at the shower or sink, I went down to the front desk to ask for a couple more towels - but was informed they had run out. Really ? The hotel is short of towels ? In fairness, I did not complain to the hotel about all the above - for one night, it just wasn't worth the bother.

The location is excelent. The staff was very friendly. The family room if you are with children is perfect, space enough for them.

Excellent Staff! Excellent Room,!Very low Price! (Clean and new!) Huge space. We were travelling with our three children and we've got the apartment which is very huge,fully airconditioned no complain about cooling the whole apartment,sitting room with comfortable couch and a big flatscreen tv, Bedroom with huge bed and another tv and we've got beautiful babycot for our baby,kitchen with table and chairs for dining, fridge and cooking facilities,water boiler for making tea etc. Batheroom with shower cabin and huge bathtub,two wash basins...whats need more...all the comfort you are looking for you'll get there. Our children were very happy and they felt like at home! Breakfast was Excellent! Lots of things and fresh! We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who travel with children or a Couple. We've been to many hotels in many countries but this is a rare opertunity to have all facilities from 3*** hotel! Again Thank you "Hotel Heban"for your friendly and Excellent service! We'll come back again!

The house the hotel was in was fabulous. Also, the room was very cosy.

Not suitable for a summer stay as there's no air-conditioning and we baked in our room. On top of that, it was a Saturday night so I would recommend other travelers to choose a more remote accommodation if they go on a weekend as streets are very noisy on those nights.

We stayed at this hotel during Euro 2012 for 2 nights following the Ireland soccer team. It is a very quaint building with friendly english speaking staff. The situations is perfect in the centre of the beautiful town of Torun. Rooms are clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Stayed in modern block with elevator, wireless and sun facing room with balcony. Would use again without hesitation. Great value for money.

No minus points. Coffee/tea making facility would be welcome, but then at such a price one can't expect everything.
