Room was warm, spacious and comfortable, with nice bathroom facilities. Good breakfast choice with hot and cold options, regularly refreshed by staff. Very convenient for station to the airport and 5 mins walk to the shops, restaurants etc. Nice bar next door and tradional Polish restaurant 25 metres. A fantastic stay, have already recommended it on to others. |

Excellent location - within walking distance Old Town but not noisy. Dated decor in bedrooms, uncomfortable pillows, poor bar facilities. Booking.com & the hotel could give better details about getting there from the airport. We were disappointed that the advertised 'airport shuttle' was not a bus that called at the various hotels in the city. |

Our hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. Only a very short walk from the station which has a direct link to the airport. There is a very good shopping centre next to the railway station and the main square is also within easy reach. |

I have stayed at Mtejko before and, this time, came back with my wife and son for a three day city break in Krakow. The hotel in its simplicity is lovely and similar to other smaller hotels in Eastern Europe such as the Bellagio in Prague. It is not too big to be impersonal and the staff are friendly and very helpful. A lovely varied breakfast should cater for most tastes but if you are looking for traditional English breakfast go to Blackpool!!! This is Polish food in Poland - something we went for! If you are staying in Krakow, this is a lovely hotel! I have only one constructive criticism but it is not unique to Matejko - tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be better and at least one plug that stays live to charge your laptop while you are out and have the electronic door entry/power supply card with you. |

The location is spot on - just about 8 mins walk from the train/bus station and from the Old Town in the other direction. Pleasant view of church from window. Staff very helpful and arranged for an early breakfast on our day of departure. |

Hotel reception staff excellent with advice on where to get public transport for visits to major attractions. Saved us a considerable amount of money compared to using travel shop down the road. Cleanliness was excellent and range of breakfast choices was very good. Central location for bus/railway & main square. Only the bells from church across the road going every 15 minutes would be a problem if you want the windows open on warm nights. |

This was my second visit to this hotel and i consider it to be a good standard of hotel close to the old town area of the city at a very good price. The staff are always friendly and helpfull. The hotel is also very close to the main railway station so you can catch the linking train from the airport for 8 zlottys approx.£2 per. person and takes about 15 mins. |

Location, friendly staff, breakfast. Very close to city center, Arkadia shopping mall, train, bus and tram stations. The bus no 304 which goes to Wieliczka Salt Mine departs right near from the hotel. We had to check out very early in the morning -we had an early train- the hotel staff was kind enough to prepare us lunch boxes. |

The staff here were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had a great breakfast as well. It was excellent value for the money. The hotel was well situated, only 5 minute walk to the galleria shopping center and about 5 minute walk into the old city. Highly reccomended. The only thing I didn't like was the noise from the street. We had a room facing the main street and it is not well insulated. Bring earplugs if you are bothered by noise. Otherwise excellent place to stay. |
