Good location and friendly staff. The room was rather spartan - a picture or two on the walls would have brightened it up.

This was my second visit to the Hotel Matejko and like my first visit I have no major complaints. The rooms are large, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Staff are nice and friendly. I really like where the hotel is situated, just five minutes walk from the main square, and the railway and bus stations. I cannot comment on lunch or evening meals but the breakfast was nice and plentiful. I really enjoyed my stay at the Matejko and will definately return. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms but this was not a huge problem as you can order from room service and there are so many nice cafes just around the corner from the hotel.

Excellent location (very close to the old city but also next to the railway station - easy to get to the airport). Room was big and clean, and so was bathroom. Extremely helpful staff. I skipped breakfast during my stay so I cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast but it is included in price.

Perfect location for the Square only a few minutes walk away. The buses for Salt Mine just stop outside the door. It is also next to a very modern and huge shopping centre as well as the train station. The room also included a continental style breakfast that had a brilliant selection. Their lunch menu was very very cheap.

It was very nice friendly atmosphere you could feel at your check-in and during the whole stay. Staff is supportive and friendly and many of guests come to Matejko every year. For me it is very good sign. I liked the location too. It is 5 minutes from the rail way station, but it's quiet place, old part of the town. Matejko is also close to Rynek Gluwny, the most famous place in Krakow. Would like to be back if I am coming to Krakow next time

The location was perfect, about a 5-10 minute flat walk to the Main market square through a garden. Had a triple room and the cot was broken, when asked for a new one or it to be fixed for teh following night we were treated like we were trouble makers, ..... bed was not fixed but an extra matress was put on tp which helped. Shower leaked, and request for additional towels also made us feel like we were asking for too much and bothering them

Perfect location next to old town Krakow. Ideal for shopping centre and main rail station. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Food good and bar inexpensive. Cost of rooms have to be seen to be believed. Excellent value. This was our second visit to Krakow and this hotel in the space of four months. Highly recommended.
