Hotel Matejko

A kilátás a szobából gyönyörű volt, a személyzet kedves, és maga a hotel nagyon közel volt a busz és vonat megállóhoz, valamint a bevásárló központhoz. Sok étterem is van közel.

A reggeli hamar elfogy és nem tesznek azért, hogy az elfogyott dolgokat kipótolják. Lefoglaláskor nem jelezték és nem is lehetett jelezni, hogy a szobában két egyszemélyes ágy lesz. A fürdőszoba repedezett és a tévén por állt vastagon.

Rooms clean and comfortable, great location.

Not enough tables at breakfast, had to wait 30 minuites for any space to become availible, then had to sit with people we did not know and not our freinds we were travelling with. Also on our first night we decided to have a night cap back at the hotel only to be told there was a private party on and it was not open even to guests of the hotel despite there being hardly anyone in there, we felt this should have been disclosed when we checked in earlier that day.

Closeness to Krakow railway station, good solid breakfast, cleanliness.

Ideal for a city break. The hotel was in a good location for the city centre. Breakfasts were good with a variety of food. Room was spacious and very clean. Completely no smoking throughout the hotel - fantastic.

It would have been good to have a bar area where we could have sat later in the evening for a drink (the bar closes at 10.00 and is situated in the dining room.) Detailed directions from the train / bus station would have been helpful, as we arrived after dark, but, with directions from the bus driver, we found it easily. We got a mini bus from the airport 5pln which stopped just around the corner and walked to the top of the street.

It was very nice. it was very central to everything.

We are thinking about going back to Krakow at the end of Feb. Do you have a facility like a room that has two bedrooms because my husband snoers. do u have a facility?

The hotel was very well situated to the Old Town also very convenient for both the main railway and bus station. It was in a quiet area of the city surrounded my magnificant buildings. The staff were brilliant with our very limited knowledge and use of Polish. The rooms were clean and confortable with a spacious restaurant for breakfast.

Two issues under this heading come to mind - firstly the heating in the room was excessive which meant that we tried to have the window open at night - this didn't work because of the church clock tower! Secondly the breakfast could have been a little more "healthy" based I.E. fruit, other than bowls of apples, kiwi and satsumas.

Excellent value for money, excellent location, staff were great would certainly stay here again. Good value budget hotel right next to the main shopping centre, the train station and 5 mins walk to the historic town centre. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was good as well. We forgot out adaptor plug and reception loaned us one for the duration of our stay. No hair driers in the room but they have one at reception. The staff were very helpful.

Rooms could have done with a lick of paint but were otherwise fine.

Continental breakfast was good. Help yourself.

Great value for mature couple city break stay.Near to all city amenities including rail and bus stations.Breakfast very good buffet. Very reasonable rates.

central to everything,square,trains,trams and buses also resturants,bars and clubs etc,in all a hotel in an ideal spot
