Very nice hotel with a lot of space. Breakfast was amazing! There is an Italian gourmet restaurant with delicious food, a little bit expensive for Poland pricing. |

The reception staff were most helpful with our enquiries. The bedroom was lovely and all the little extras were appreciated. Loved the Patio Restaurant! |

Beautifully designed hotel. I especially loved the old photos in the halls. The food served at the breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very professional. I also appreciated that we were allowed to borrow a laptap computer. There were nice shops and cafes in the immediate area of the hotel. For a luxury hotel, the pillows were not comfortable for sleeping. The pillows on the bed should be upgraded and there should be more of them. The bed's mattress was also a little hard. |

The staff was very helpful and in fact they came and met us to help us find the hotel when we were lost. I also liked the quality of the toiletries provided. The buffet breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay there again. |

The rooms in the last floor were affected by the noise of the outside roof mounted central air conditioning unit. Despite of closed terrace door the noise was very perturbing. |

The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very courteous and efficient. The shower door left much water on the floor of the bathroom. The drapes did not close easily or fully. The light over the bathroom mirror did not work. |

Pokój był bardzo nowoczesny, dobrze wyposażony i miał ciekawy wystrój. Jacuzzi w łazience było dużym plusem. Bardzo dobre śniadanie. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Dobra lokalizacja. |

Prima hotel. De 5 sterren status is wel op basis van Poolse standaarden. Dit soort hotels heeft vaak een wat kitscherige uitstraling qua kamers etc. Het restaurant ziet er wel erg mooi uit. Ik heb in de nabije omgeving weinig tot geen restaurants gevonden, dus heb gedineerd in het hotel zelf. Dit was erg goed. ( niet goedkoop ). Hotel zelf ligt lekker centraal in centrum, maar Katowice zelf is een vrij treurige stad.( zoals ook het centrum ) |

Die Architektur des Hotels ist sehenswert. Geschmackvoll renoviert. Wäre in einer anderen Stadt sicher eine gute Adresse. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal an der Rezeption sollte etwas besser geschult sein. |

Bardzo stylowy; odtworzone przedwojenne wnętrza stylizowane na lata 30-ste, duże wygodne łóżko w pokoju jednoosobowym, piękna i wygodna łazienka. SPA i basen niedostateczne w hotelu tej klasy. Łaźnia parowa nie działała i było w niej brudno. Sauna fińska ciasna i też niezbyt czysta. W pięciogwiazdkowym hotelu można by oczekiwać telewizora plazmowego, nie zaś starego pudła z kineskopem. |

Das Monopol ist ein erstklassiges Haus. Während meines Aufenthaltes war das Personal recht gestresst da die Nordirische Fussballnationalmannschaft dort wohnte. Trotzdem war alles perfekt und das Personal blieb freundlich und zuvorkommend. Soviel ich auch nachdenke, es fällt mir nichts negatives ein. |

Hotel bardzo ładny, miła obsługa, nawet brak parkingu podziemnego nie był problemem, gdyż personel hotelu odprowadzal samochod na parking. Hotel mógłby byc w nocy lepiej oswietlony. Przyjechałam samochodem i z daleka widziałam sąsiedni hotel dobrze oświetlony a tego nie zauważyłam. W pokoju mógłby być czajnik, kawa i herbata. |
