* location, location, location * good quality/low price
* no toilet brush - instant red card and my apologies for the housekeepers * cold water = red colour and hot water = blue colour - just in case you wonder, is there a hot water in the building
Location, cleaniness, privacy, large bathroom, hot shower
Lack of tea making facility, poor wifi
old feel to the building, low price, the room was furnished really well
the bathroom door only opened half-way, the washbasing was cracked, the lower part of the shower cutrain was dirty, towels had holes in them
Awful smell from toilet. Terrible
the hotel building is old but provides excellent historical atmosphere. The hotel staff were very helpful, and I could enjoy my stay in Lodtz.
As a hotel was nice, comfortable big single room and quiet. Wifi was good compared with other places I have been. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I will ever visit Lodz again I would have stayed at the same hotel. Location of the hotel is also very good. Only 1 minute from Piotrkowska street.
Wifi was a bit slow sometimes which can be annoying if you are trying to do something. And one thing I didn't like is that as soon as I made the check in one of the women at the reception asked to pay her the full amount, and when i said i would do it next day she didn't seem to like it. It was a bit offensive as it made me feel like she thought I wasn't going to pay. And who asks you to pay as soon as you step in? Usually is when you check out. or at least during your stay. Would I pay before I saw if I was satisfied or not? Other than that everything was fine.
Excellent location for restaruants and bars.. Very polite staff. Low price, comfortable and very good value. Unique character of a bygone era albeit sadly faded.
everything was very good
the room was a bit dark, a little more light would make it perfect
free wi-fi good location
carpet extremely old and worn toilet awfully old and shower giving water everywhere but you
Location Staff Size of a room and a bathroom
Breakfast not included in price and expensive (25 PLN)
wifi location size of room
bathroom didn't look nice i could hear all noises from the corridor
perfect location; nice historical building; kind staff; good WiFi; cozy room
may be difficult to find a place for parking the car; breakfast used to be better in the past; too small restaurant to accommodate all single guests
Beautiful rooom in a hotel with historical charm. Nice breakfast (though a little pricey).
Hard mattress. I had to cover it with the woollen blanket.
Just a few steps from Piotrkowska street, the only decent part of ugly city of Lodz.
Though it's clean, the accomodations are a bit old.
Calm, clean place close to the Piotrkowska Street, friendly and helpful staff. Recommended hotel for modest tourists who are more interested in Lodz than in sophisticated hotel equipment and entertainments.
Great loacation for shops, bars and fantastic light festival (10,11 Oct). Adequate rooms and reasonable buffet breakfast.
Cant grumble for the price.........
This hotel is an old one, but the room I had was quite refurbished and totally comfortable. The bed was extremely comfy, the bathroom was modern and very clean, there was endless hot water, good wifi, and a very nice breakfast next door in their restaurant. The room (a double) was quite large with lots of space. There is a lift, and an elevator operator always, which is unusual but welcome. The staff spoke enough English, some more than others, and they were very helpful to me. I highly recommend this hotel.
Can't think of anything.
Perfect location that is ideal for solo travels or weekend business trippers. Clean and stress free.
Price Central location Liftboy New bathroom Traditional hotel, wooden floors
Old tv, language not changable. Old carpet floor in room, the wood below it should be revealed! Dont use firestairs in the back, espeacially not in case of fire. Most exitdoors are locked! Only useable exit was on 4th floor, dangerous...
There is no other place in the world where you can get so much for som less(money). Great place just next to the main downtown location. The place is pretty old, still clean and comfy though. I liked the spirit of 1930'.. the best hotel in Łódź !! + great restaurant/bar just cross the street (great food, pleasant staff)
I really liked everything
pretty much liked everything. big spacious rooms. dated decor but really enjoyed staying here
excelent location, good industrial age atmosphere, old furnished
Hotel Savoy is well situated and the staff kind.
